Ordered in DoorDash a BLAT on sourdough. Tasty, perfect ratios of each ingredient. Sourdough was buttery and nicely toasted.

Super clean and simply decorated. Loved the hot rod photography. It was really nice actually. Variety of menu items which was great! Lots of options. Friendly service. Food came out hot and fresh! Bread was perfectly toasted and buttered. Tender chicken. Clean bathrooms. Will definitely stop by again!

While on my visit to my hometown I happened upon this establishment. I was pleased to find somewhere I had not been before as this is a small town and we cherish new venues. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was made perfectly. Definitely coming here again when I visit home.

Nothing like DoorDashing and they send you a burger that has a super hard burnt bun. Who lets an order out like that? Terrible

Good location, clean restaurant and restrooms, friendly staff. My only complaint is a $12 burger without French fries included, I can make that at home for half the price!

Clean environment. Amazing food!!! Great ambience. We ate here last time we were in town last year. Love it!

Hands down one of the best burgers I've had in a while I got the hot Cadillac with no bbq sauce plus avocado. I also got some garlic fries , they were ok. I think a little tooo much garlic. The fry itself is really good. + a tasteyyyy beer. Service was great, friendly staff. And a chill environment.

Order up front and have a seat style place. They offer sandwiches, wraps, salads, hot dogs, burgers, beer and sodas. Quick and easy fast food. Girls up front were sweet.

    My children enjoy this meal.

Husband and I had lunch here and thought it was ok. I'm not a fan of shredded lettuce and so that's a buzzkill for me.

I don't know if this was malice or some sort of accident but they took 10 dollars from me. So I called the restaurant to report it and was told a manager would call me back which never happened. I would suggest saving your receipt when you go there and checking your credit card afterwards. Update : the manager reached out to me and compensated me for their mistake. I think it was an honest mistake. Also the food was good so I will be back.

To dine in a hotel lobby is usually to surrender to culinary mediocrity--a landscape of overpriced…read moreclub sandwiches and transient fatigue. What one does not anticipate stumbling upon is a stealthy, spectacular triumph of flavor hiding in plain sight. Let us begin with the revelations from the kitchen, which operates with a muscular generosity completely unbothered by its zip code. Consider the bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers. In lesser hands, these are a greasy, afterthought appetizer. Here, they are elevated to a robust study in textures: the shattering crispness of perfectly rendered pork fat giving way to the bright, vegetal heat of the pepper. It is an unpretentious masterpiece. The ribeye tacos follow suit, arriving with staggering, bountiful portions that mock the typical stinginess of hotel dining. The beef carries a charred, undeniable richness, proving that this kitchen harbors serious, hidden talent. Even the bar delivers a shock to the system: a Winter's Bourbon concoction that possesses a seasonal gravity and warmth you would expect from a velvet-roped speakeasy, not a lobby counter. Yet, to experience this hidden gem, one must navigate the bizarre, static theater of the front-of-house. Hospitality is, fundamentally, a kinetic art. It is a dance of invisible choreography, anticipating needs and clearing plates. The manager on duty, however, seemed entirely unaware of this requirement, remaining locked in a state of profound, almost geological stillness. Anchored to a single table and clutching a siren-branded Starbucks cup as if it were a talisman against actual labor, they never breached a five-foot radius. One longed to see them traverse the room--a brisk walk to inspect a corner booth, a sweeping pivot to direct traffic, or simply the basic physical act of placing one foot in front of the other to confirm they were, in fact, part of the restaurant's ecosystem. This visual dissonance extends to the bartender, who engineered my exceptional bourbon while engaged in the vigorous, open-mouthed mastication of chewing gum. It is a casual defiance of professional decorum that makes the drink's excellence all the more baffling. In the end, this restaurant is a profound paradox. It is a genuine, undeniable find--a place where you will feast remarkably well on ribeye and rendered fat. Just come prepared to marvel at the food, while wondering if the management might eventually remember how to walk.

We drove over from Solvang on state highway 246, which was nice because we got to avoid the rush hour traffic and construction on 101. The round trip is not bad. The service was excellent. Iliana our server was very nice and attentive. We got the chicken and meatball soup and the pan seared salmon. The soup was just ok, not bad, but not super exciting. The salmon was excellent. It is normally served with hollandaise sauce, spinach, and mushroom over mashed potatoes. We subbed the potatoes for more veggies. The veggies were well seasoned, salmon coked well, and sauce was a nice compliment. Their Diet Coke cups were huge. They only have one toilet and someone was in there a super long time when we wanted to leave, so plan wisely if you need to go. We had to hold it all the way home. The lot has adequate parking. The bar is only beer and wine. The restaurant is not super visible coming from the east, so listen to your map app when to turn. We had a good experience and would come back when in the area again. Recommend you give them a try.

It's still quite popular with the locals, so allow wait times on the weekends. LOUNGE (3 Stars): Stopped in on our arrival night and went in for a nightcap. There were four people working the bar/lounge area, but service wasn't great. In fact, we had to request that the bar be wiped down and it was sticky and wet from the previous patrons who were long gone. Cocktails took some time to make and deliver. Seemed like a lot of locals were hanging out, and even though they made cocktails, I would say that this is more of a beer/shots/jack-n-coke kind of place. RESTAURANT (4 Stars): Stopped in for breakfast two days during our hotel visit. The service was better than in the lounge, the food was tasty, and the portions generous. Everyone kept telling me I had to try the breakfast burritos, so I chose the Chorizo Burrito ($14) and it was okay, not "wow". On the other hand, I thought that the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs ($22) with biscuits & gravy was very good, as were the Pancakes ($20), French Toast ($20, and Ham Swiss Scramble ($10). Dave's Place carries through with the mid-century modern décor of the hotel and is a convenient addition to have both a bar and nice restaurant available for your stay, or to visit for locals. We'd stop in again when visiting the area.
