Every time we visit Lompoc we have to stop by here. The food is delicious and the portions are great. I ordered 1/2 baby back ribs with mac and cheese and green salad and my husband ordered beef brisket with baked potatoes and salad. The only thing I recommend is not to place the food on the paper, each time my husband was trying to grab the meat he was getting a piece of paper. We ended up removing the paper and placing the food on the tray. Our server Hailey was very friendly and helpful in choosing the beer and she checked on us several times to make sure we aren't missing anything. The ambience is always fun, they were playing sports on large screens. People seemed happy and acted like they knew each other and they knew all the servers. We were very excited to try this place but unfortunately it did not meet any of the expectations we had. First off, this place is a bar/restaurant so don't expect fine dining. Second, the food felt like leftovers. Grease was left at the bottom of the paper and had moments where needed to get paper off the food. I asked for no cheese fondue on my baked potato and it was drenched in it. Pulled pork was very bland, and Mac and cheese was not good. Third, service was alright, the workers were playing around and not taking their job seriously and all of our meals came in various times. A friend got their food 15 minutes before mine. Chicken Caesar salad was bland and chicken was a little suspicious. Ambience was very chill and nice but not something I want when going to get some food. Look, I'm a camera eats first kinda girl. The camera didn't have a fighting chance -- my two meat plate with brisket + tri tip, with mac and cheese and a baked potato could not wait! The portion was enough for myself and my husband, with us taking half of the mac and cheese home. The brisket was bomb, and it was absolutely criminal, with how pretty it was, but oh so good to cut into the baked potato. Erik our server was great! My family and I came here for the first time today to celebrate my daughter's birthday. It started out a little on the rough side when we encountered an employee which I believe his name was Daniel. He was rude and short with any questions we had. We were about to leave, when the only female working came over to us and was so sweet and understanding. She convinced us to stay and give them a chance. Her name is Haley, and we can't say enough great things about her! She made our first experience an amazing time. Her food suggestions were spot on and we loved the portion size and taste. We had a pitcher of their Blueberry Lager and it was great!. The place is very nice and the food was okay. I say the tri tip is the best. Only thing that I didn't like was how staff handled a situation. I had the 2 meat platter and with tri tip and ribs and the ribs were horrible. They were dry and tasted like I was eating pepper corns. We let a server know that we didn't enjoy the ribs. We only had one bite and didn't eat the rest of them and we notified the server and she proceeds to have an attitude and gets the male sever and his solution was pulling out a $20 bill from his wallet and dropping it on the table saying here's your money back. Now it's akward and we can feel the tension. I work in customer service and that is not how you handled a situation like that . They could've swapped it out for a different meat or even offer desert. I wasn't looking for my money back just something else other than the ribs. I hope management retrains there servers on how to handle situations like that. Had a glass of ok amber beer - nothing special and an order of garlic parmesan fries. Somehow the fries tasted like some ultra-processed thing like a hot pocket. They didn't take like a hot pocket, but they also didn't taste much like garlic, parmesean or fries. It was like a tribute band that didn't really live up to the advertising. And the service was verrrry slooowww. The server didn't seem to be able to stop by another table without returning to the bar each time. First things first-fix your site information. Three different search options pull up different hours and days open for Solvang. I'm glad I didn't listen to google because it said you were closed! Yelp didn't fail me, and brought me to the only brewery within 20 min of the base after a long day of travel from CO. I got there as they opened (4:30pm) the two bartenders were super kind (two younger gentlemen-I didn't catch their names). I chatted with the bartenders, while eating the street tacos (super good, loaded with meat!) and tried the raspberry wheat ale. Later on (Freddie?) one of the brewers and a guy from sales (I am not positive of either of their names) were at the bar chatting as well. I appreciate establishments that people work at, and they aren't in a terrible rush to leave the place. I got to try their upcoming Mango Hazy IPA (SO GOOD) I also tried their mimosa, and that was the most unassuming thing I tried. WOW! Anyways, what a great experience. I love me some CO breweries and beer, but this one made my list of a fav. Not just because the beer was great, but because they have some pretty dope people working there as well. I have to admit this place caught me off guard. I was kinda expecting the typical oven cooked bbq they you find In most California restaurants that are not a true bbq restaurant. My first clue that this place is legit was the bbq rig in the parking lot that I did not see until I left. I got the 3 meat combo and paid up for the brisket, I also got the beer brat, ribs, collard greens and loaded potato. The brisket was honestly the best brisket I have ever hade in California and rivals the brisket I had in Austin Texas. The server was super sweet and helpful. I could see the kitchen crew from where I was seated and it was like watching a dance (I miss my days on the line...but not really lol). The man in charge of the kitchen was sent to my table after a comment I made to my waitress. Mike came over to my table and we had a great conversation about food staff bbq and of course his favorite nfl team KC. I watched him sweep the floors in the kitchen before he came to my table and there is nothing I love more than a boss that is willing to do whatever it takes and leads by example. This sleepy little town of Lompoc has a REAL bbq joint disguised as a brew pub. I can not express how happy I was to find this place. I almost forgot about the ribs and brats. Ribs were fall odd the bone (I prefer a bit more bite but that's me) the flavor was perfect the bbq sauce tasted real not high fructose garbage, and the brats had a great beer flavor without being overbearing. This restaurant is family friendly with lots of kids and a playground for them with games and things for your little ones to keep busy while you eat. So happy I found this place and I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Lompoc, this will actually give me more of a reason to stay in Lompoc when I'm wine tasting in the Santa Barbara county area. read more

Our server, Tina, was very friendly and provided a water bowl for our dogs. We started off with onions rings that were lightly battered and delicious. New menu is good - Humungous Nachos still exist as an appetizer but they now have a Bbq theme for their combos. Had the tri-tip + rib combo plus greens and potato salad as sides and thought it was a good deal and a lot of food. The service was great. Only caveat is that we discovered after we left that we accidentally got charged for a bottle of wine instead of by the glass. But thats an anomaly and doesn't factor into my review since that could technically happen anywhere. Would definitely go again. read more

We ordered the BBQ pull pork plate which is smoked but it was overcooked and dry. We were only given one small container of sauce and the meat didn't seem to have any sauce on it though it had a nice smoke to it. It was way too dry to eat and that's a sin at the prices they charge. The staff seemed friendly and the tables were clean this time the indoor-outdoor setup makes for a nice dining setting - but, they need to make sure the food they serve is not too dry and is adequately sauced or has enough on the side to prevent choking. Sadly this place has gone way down hill, it use to be one of our favorite places to come simply for the atmosphere, today they are blasting rap music which I am fine with but there are kids here and there is a lot of cussing. And it was playing so loud inside the man taking my order could barely here us. Food has gone down hill too, and they seem to always be out of everything, no nachos today, or they weren't ready yet, and many of the beers were out. It's pretty empty here and now I see why. There are really not too many dining options in Lompoc, especially nice one. This really is one of the nicest and tastiest places in town. Not a huge fan of beer, I still had a great time here and the food alone is well worth coming for. My pizza was outstanding, I loved the brewery wheat dough and the toppings were plentiful and great quality. Very much worth the money, also very filling, a large can easily feed 4. The burgers are also huge, filling and delicious, really everything I tried was excellent. Service was nice, they do get pretty busy, so expect a bit of a wait.
