Sailing a boat when you live in Las Vegas but your boat is moored in Long Beach can be challenging in the best of circumstances. I knew that it was best to hire someone trustworthy , knowledgeable, and helpful.. Mark Davenport was a Godsend. My husband who was the sailor passed away suddenly in April 2020 and Mark was compassionate and very helpful. He saw me through the entire process from viewing the boat and telling me what needed to be done to make the boat presentable to sell for tge best sales price. He checked on the boat several times in the 2 month process letting me know if anything was amiss .. Mark alerted me to tell me when the person who washed my boat and also my bottom cleaner neglected my boat. He found me a person to wax my boat, a Captain for the Seatrial. Mark handled all the negotiating and was always on my side and honest when he needed to be. He is checking my boat as I write this to make sure I didn't leave anything of value behind before the new owner takes possession. Last but not least.. Mark was there when I needed a shoulder to cry on understanding the devastating circumstances I was facing. I can't than Mark enough.

There is a security access to get into the parking lot as well as a coded key to get to my boat. The restrooms are awesome. They are clean and well stocked. Each of the slips have shore power and an extra storage bin for items that you want to store there. 24 hour access makes this one a plus. I can get to my boat anytime and any day of the week without problems. All of the people I have met on my dock are friendly and courteous. The staff that cleans the docks are friendly too. There are monthly wine and cheese tastings and they are open to anyone that I chose to bring with me. I highly recommend this marina to anyone who wants a safe place for their boat as I have found for mine.

Our group was 4 adults, 4 kids, and our dog and everyone had a blast. I had done one of those regular glass bottom boats before and it was honestly boring. This one is way different. The boat has two levels. You start on the top deck cruising King Harbor where you get to see sea lions, and then go downstairs into this cozy underwater room with huge windows on both sides. You can sit right next to the glass and watch fish swim by like you're in a tiny underwater aquarium Captain Erik was amazing. He was hilarious, super interactive, and thoughtful. He noticed when one of my friends didn't have a jacket and made sure she wasn't too cold, let the kids try on the captain's hat, and somehow made everyone on board, including a few strangers, feel included. The sunset was beautiful, the ride was smooth and easy for kids and dogs, and it was way better than we expected. If you're in the South Bay and think you know what a glass bottom tour is, this one will surprise you. I get TERRIBLE seasickness and I did not feel sick for a second! Totally worth the traffic and we'll definitely be coming back.

Whenever we have family or friends visiting from out of state or overseas, it's one of our favorite activities because it's a relaxing way to see the Port of Long Beach, the Queen Mary, and, if you're lucky, the sea lions. We brought another group yesterday, and everyone enjoyed the tour. The only downside, in my opinion, is the boats used for the harbor tour. Yesterday we were on the Kristina, and in the past we've also been on the Caroline, which we chartered for my mother's ash-scattering ceremony about 14 years ago. Both vessels are showing their age. I also think the marketing could be clearer. The photos on the website and many travel sites prominently feature the newer catamarans, which gives the impression that those are the boats used for the harbor tour. I actually called ahead to ask and learned that the harbor tours use different vessels. While I appreciated getting the correct information, many first-time visitors probably wouldn't think to ask and may expect the newer boats shown in the advertising. The harbor tour itself is still worthwhile, and we'll likely continue bringing our guests because we genuinely enjoy the experience. I just hope Harbor Breeze considers updating or refurbishing the harbor tour vessels and making the marketing a little clearer so guests know exactly what to expect.

There was a lot of people in line. I was in the middle and thought I wouldn't get good seats, but I ended up sitting outside in the front. The boat is really nice and big. The front is the best place to sit with a good view of the whales and dolphins. The inside was packed and you don't really see a lot and sitting outside in the back you could smell the fumes from the engine. I did see dolphins and whales - the mom and the calf. They had a couple of experts talk about the whales and dolphins. We were past Newport Beach when we finally saw the whales. We spent a good amount of time seeing them. Then we went back. It's gets windy. It was a fun experience.
