We use these docks during the summer for loading scout to go to summer camp on Catalina Island. High quality facilities in a great location.

There is a big fountain in the center of the lake that you'll probably feel splashes of water from. My husband and I had a wonderful experience on our swan boat. Each swan boat fits 2-5 people, but only the 2 in the front can pedal the boat. You can ride the boat for an hour, which is more than enough time. Everyone is required to wear a life vest during the ride for safety reasons. The life vests are provided at no extra cost. The boats light up at night, so this spot seems even more busy in the evenings than earlier in the day. Advanced reservations are required and can easily be booked online. I would highly recommend reserving a night ride so you can see the swans glow over the water. Pricing is hourly, per person and very affordable. Children's prices are cheaper than adults. For what you get, this activity is very worth it. I will definitely be revisiting with my husband for another night ride. Before or after the boat ride, you can also enjoy a nice walk around the park trail. The only con is that parking is pretty limited.

A friend and I decided to give them a go, and it honestly made an already great day even better. I highly recommend it. It's $13 per adult (kids are less), parking is usually easy to find, and you can enjoy a relaxing lap or two around the beautiful lake. Simple, fun, and such a classic LA experience

I wish I remembered his name! He also had the sweetest dog named Stella. When we arrived, the employee who got us set up on the boat was just as great -- patient, informative, fun, and super easygoing. We rented a boat for 2 hours and it ended up being the perfect Memorial Day activity. Highly recommend if you want to explore the marina or ocean, sunbathe, fish, listen to music, and just enjoy good vibes. Thank you again for such a fun experience!

Every question is met with sarcasm, shouting, or an eye-roll powerful enough to change the tide. To him, customers aren't guests--they're floating wallets. His favorite trick is the "mystery scratch." Return the boat and he'll suddenly discover a catastrophic new blemish that somehow escaped everyone's notice and charge the credit card on file. Ask about it further, he'll remind you that you are being videotaped and he'll charge you even more. Every scratch is a shipwreck. Every complaint is mutiny. Every refund is a myth. But luckily Captain Anthony (aka The Happy Captain) helped to dispel any of those fears. His 30+ years of sailing experience and instruction got us up to speed quickly on the 38-ft catamaran "Untethered". In addition to sailing, we learned provisioning, how to anchor at mooring balls in Catalina, and spent 4 nights on board. It's hard to express they joy I felt at seeing the dozens of dolphins that joined us one afternoon. The man overboard drills we did offshore of Marina Del Rey were also memorable. We brought our own Starlink terminal and were able to familiarize ourselves with some of the navigation and weather apps. Ruth in the office made sure all of our logistics went smoothly. We had signed up a few months prior, with a promo offered during the 2025 Newport Boat Show. Big thanks to the team at Blue Pacific. Highly recommend!
