Dave at Eddie's Tires was a real trooper. The towing company took a very long time to bring our car here due to traffic, and by the time we arrived, it was already 15 minutes past closing time. The shop closed at 6pm, but Dave graciously waited for us. We were very grateful for his superb customer service. He removed the slashed tire and replaced it with a brand new tire. In San Diego. Driving towards North Park. Low tire pressure indicator comes up and as I slow, I feel the tell tale signs of a flat tire. Not low pressure, but flat. If you're ever driven on a flat, you know. My car doesn't come with a spare. So, it's Roadside Assistance. First guy shows up. Tries to reinflate but it's more than a slow leak. We can hear the air escaping as fast as the pump is delivering it. Means, need a second call to Roadside. This time for a tow to a shop to replace the tire. The car was towed to Eddies. Here's a few details that I missed sharing. Had to call around to find a garage/shop that would 1) have the tire in stock and 2) be or stay open to have it replaced. Initial call was handled by Robert. Who stated that if the car could be delivered even shortly after 6PM, they'd do the work. The second call, and who eventually stayed open past 6PM and did the work, was David. Can't fault the tow truck driver for arriving beyond the estimated time. But the driver will still able to arrive, load up my ride (flatbed) and drop the car off just shortly after 6PM where David was waiting. David got right to work and had me on the road within the hour. Brand new tire - opted for new as I had just replaced all four less than two months ago. I felt the price was fair for the new tire, the work and staying after closing so I just gave David all the cash I had on me. I wish it was more but it was definitely enough for dinner and drinks. His understanding of my situation and his willingness to help me even after closing time is the type of action and service I'll be more than willing to give my business to even though I live up in LA. SCAMMERS! Yesterday 7/1/26 I called at 11:35 in regards of getting two front tires. They told me this guy named Tony was going to give me a Text to see if he has my size. Tony mentioned that he had them in stock for $105 each, total would be $210. He then told me he offered mobile services and would come where I'm at and said that I have to pay the cashier first before he comes. They asked for my email address for the invoice and would have to pay them thru Zelle, Apple Pay and chime. Payed them with Apple Pay and Tony said he was going to be here in 12 mins. Communication was gone after I sent the payment. Waited outside for him to give directions but no response. Sent him multiple messages but just straight ghosted me. Do not go with these people! SCAMMERS! These people scammed me out of $210. I called earlier today with the number that's on google and they said that someone named Tony was going to send me a text on the tires I needed. He proceeded to text me saying that we have them in stock for 105 each. $210 total for the front two. We set up a time at 7 to for him to come since he's "mobile". Communication was great up until I sent the money. No response after that completely ignored my messages. I screenshotted everything and will file a claim against them. read more

In Jan 2024 I purchased 4 used tires. I kept getting flats so yesterday 7-19-2025 I went to Walmart to purchase new tires and they told me that the last person who installed my tires hat damaged lugnuts that could potentially break the studs. They told me to back to the person who last installed my ties because they caused the damage and so I did. The customer service at eddies was beyond professional they argued about it and denied it being their fault. They had me purchase the broken parts that they damaged and continued to be rude. When they finished I went to discount ties and they told me that two lugnut where missing. So not only unprofessional but put my life at risk. I'm a single mother and can't imagine what could have happened to me and my son. This place needs to be shutdown it's not safe. read more

I came to Edie the day before because I was looking for Uni Tires but mistaken them for Edie, I came and asked the guy, he was gladly pointed me to the right direction and even told me if I changed my mind I could come back as the shop close at 5 PM. The next day after Uni and Toyota dealer fiasco, I came back here to ask for his help, not to forget to ask for his price which he told me right away, it was very reasonable, and he was able to got rid of my wheel locks, did my wheel balanced, air check plus rotations for $60 total, $10 to take out each lock, $15 for each wheel balancing, $10 for rotations, while Uni would have taken $18 of me to get each wheel out. I felt I made the right decision to come back and trusted in Edie, the name of the store belong to the original owner who had passed away but his legacy remains for 32 years with this shop. Thank you to David and his associates to service it fast for me, my steering wheel had stopped shaking since he did the balance for me, so far so good, the only thing bothers me about the place was how small it is to maneuver your car into the shop, getting in and out requires some special skills to be able to get back on the busy crazy street with on going traffic ready to hit you any time. I used to come here all the time for my tire needs until they charged me for a whole tire, flipped my old/damaged one so that the damaged side was invisible, and then charged me for another one again. I would've had no idea if I didn't happen to see the same damage on the inside part of the tire when they were throwing it away. I won't be coming here anymore for any tire needs. read more

Stay away from this place there are better tire shops down the road. They do their best to tax you. I came in around march-April for a brand new tire costing me 120$. Keep this in mind it is a accelera tire which was fine. I come in here a month after because my other tire was out and offered me a cheaper tire for 150$ and then I ask him if he has accelera to match my pair and he gives me the same price and I ask him I came a month ago and it was 120$. Online they range 80-100$. I understands the mounting and balance but the fact that he hits me with "los tiempos cambiaron" as an excuse to use inflation to raise his price. I noticed it depends the type of car you drive and then he judges what he's going to charge you to get more money out of you. DO NOT GO HERE! I finally got around to writing this reviewing but I came here with my dad a while back. They are dishonest and terrible customer service. We came here for new tires for my car. No one acknowledged us. We waited around to be helped but they decided to help others who came after we did. Waited for over an hour till they finally decided to help us. We were the last ones in the shop before they closed btw. They ended up giving me wrong tires. The tires were smaller than the ones my car was suppose to have (I didn't know this because I'm not a car person)...but fast forward to when my treads wore out from Eddie's Tires and I got new tires from Discount Tires instead. Discount Tires told me that the old tires on my car were too small for my car which was why it looked kind of low. I needed one tire replaced on my 2013 Jaguar XJL and they quoted me a used Goodyear Eagle Carbon with 80% tread left for $50 installed. They only took 20 minutes to install and balance and am happy to say it performed up well up to 140MPH. Great job guys. read more

I love these guys. Jesus is a stand up guy who has always been a pleasure to deal with. He & his team worked on my Volvo for years and always took really good care of my car and never led me wrong. There was this dude that kept spewing homophobic remarks at me and my boyfriend in Spanish and I knew what he was joking about the whole time. Horrible service here, they damaged the rims on my tires so badly that the metal was dented. Then they tried to cover it up by putting grease over the damaged parts. Owner was rude and unapologetic, denying that they caused the damage. They claim to be "honest" to cover up the fact that they are dishonest and incompetent. read more
