Food quality is average. Meats were on the dry side. Ordered pastor since it looked tasty however taquero decided to out old pastor on my burrito vs putting fresh shaved pastor. Salsas are below average in taste and spice level. All other fresh veggies and add-ons were fresh. What saved the tacos and my review from being any lower was the handmade tortillas. Staff is friendly and patient when ordering. Slow day I and no crowd whatsoever.

Super authentic tacos' with homemade tortillas. Flavors were on point! It seems sketchy from afar but I promise you the best tacos!

I happened to be staying in a hotel across the street. By far the best thing about the hotel was the ability to walk over to Eddy's. Fresh tortillas and loads of meat. The street tacos were way overfilled. Got the al pastor tacos, carne asada tacos, an al pastor burrito and a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla must've weighed a pound all by itself. And you can top them with all the salsas, pickles onions, etc you want. Would not hesitate to eat there again.

This place is in a Harley Davidson parking lot. We first stopped by late at night after a long day at Legoland and we loved it! My kids and wife (who is extremely picky) loved it as well.they have excellent pastor and a variety of other meats like cabeza, saudero, lengua, and much more . I came back here tonight because my son was craving for street tacos and We ended up eating 17 tacos! I got the quesadilla Asada for my girls and a bunch of tacos for my wife to take home and ended up spending $75! Overall we love the place and will come back again and again. Keep up the great work!

Lengua, cabeza, tripas, suadero, al pastor, carne asada and pollo can be had here. Consistent after multiple visits. Solid street tacos for a very reasonable $2 a pop.

This review is about Tacos El Goloso, located at 1605 Pacific Coast Hwy, Harbor City, CA…read more My daughter is an EMT. While on duty, she stopped at this location and placed an order. Before her food was ready, she received an emergency call and had to leave immediately. That's the reality of being a first responder--when a call comes in, you leave immediately, no time to wait for your meal. Before leaving, she politely asked the cashier to cancel the order and refund her card. Instead of showing understanding or offering assistance, the cashier was dismissive and unhelpful. After completing the call, my daughter contacted the restaurant, apologized for the inconvenience, and again requested a refund. She was initially told that the receipt had been thrown away. Later, the receipt was apparently found, but she was then informed that if she wanted a refund--or even the food she had paid for--she would have to return to the location in person. The problem is that she lives more than an hour away and was only in the area because she was working. I called the following day in an attempt to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I was met with the same attitude. The employee refused to provide her name, refused to provide a manager's name, and refused to provide any contact information for someone who could address the complaint. To be clear, this is not about the cost of a meal. Had the employee been courteous, professional, or even remotely helpful, we likely would have let the matter go. Emergencies happen. Schedules change. We understand that. What prompted this review was not the lost food or the refund itself--it was the employee's rude attitude, lack of professionalism, and complete unwillingness to help resolve a simple customer service issue. I will also acknowledge that by the end of my phone call, I became frustrated and was not as polite as I should have been. I regret that. However, that frustration came only after repeated attempts to handle the situation respectfully and being met with rudeness and resistance at every turn. A business can recover from a mistake. What it cannot afford is employees who treat customers with contempt and then refuse to provide any way to contact management when a legitimate concern is raised. Management should be aware that this employee's behavior reflects poorly on the entire business. If this is how customers are treated when they encounter an unexpected emergency, then potential customers deserve to know before choosing to spend their money here.

I've been here before, and the birria tacos were exactly what I needed for a late-night craving. Crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling and strong flavor - they really hit the spot. I ended up having four of them. The consomé on the side was really good too - rich and flavorful, almost something I could've just had on its own. The street tacos were solid. The carnitas had that tender, slightly crisp texture, and the al pastor added a bit more seasoning and contrast. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward and satisfying. Service was friendly, and the setup is quick and casual. In the South Bay where places tend to close early, it was nice that they were open until around 10pm. Overall, this is a no-frills taco spot where the focus is on the food. Easy choice when you're in the mood for tacos.

If I'm ever in the area craving Mexican food, I'm coming straight here -- no question. And they had the basketball game on, perfect. Super fast service by the way!

Positives: - calamari was fried perfectly, batter was light and crunchy and seasoned nicely. - Fish and Chips: portion was HUGE could not finish it. Fish was fresh and flaky, batter was light, crispy and not oily. - Fries were crispy and nicely seasoned and not overly salted. - Coleslaw was tasty, crunchy, and not too creamy or soggy. I don't like it when coleslaw is a soupy mess. - Price was very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food we got. - Us "old folks" enjoyed the background music from the 80s. Good ambiance. Cons: - Default tip option on card scanner started at 20% for a place where you seat yourself, order at the counter, and pick up your own food when called. I manually entered 10%. - Clam chowder was good but seemed to lack something (Spice, pepper, acid?) and flavor was more creamy than I like. My go-to order is the salmon with garlic butter, always delicious. Somewhat recently (past year or two) they changed their rice and I'm not a huge fan of the new noodley rice. I've since swapped to roasted corn.... but I miss the original rice, especially when the garlic butter would go onto it!
