We were on the hunt for the best ceviche in the area, and Alfredo's Mexican Restaurant came up during our search. We originally stopped by just to try their ceviche, but what made us stay was the chips and salsa! The chips were warm, crispy, and the salsa had a nice kick that really stood out. That convinced us to stay and have dinner. We ordered the ceviche and a burrito plate (carne asada), and both were delicious! The ceviche and salsa was so good that we ended up ordering more for our get-together during the NBA Finals weekend. It was a hit. We did add more lime for our preference. Monica took care of us, and she was wonderful -- very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Great service always makes a dining experience even better. Only thing to note is that parking is a bit small, so it can get tight depending on the time you go. If you're in the area and looking for good Mexican food, definitely give Alfredo's a try. The food was excellent, their shredded beef and chicken are both delicious and I loved their enchilada sauce. However, the service was even better! Monica provided maybe the best service we've ever had at a restaurant. Very attentive, super friendly and bubbly, and clearly a very hard worker. She was delightful each time she stopped by our table and made our experience unforgettable. We're a couple hours away but we're in this area once a year for an annual event and we promised to come back every single time we're nearby. Can't recommend enough! The ambiance is authentic and happy and I love their freshly squeezed orange juice which has been few and far between at typical restaurants. I have always enjoyed their food and good service.The restaurant is always very clean and organized. Last time I went was last Friday and I had one of their build your own combination meals and my spinach tamale was stale. Ordered delivery. Got chicken fajitas, guacamole and beef burrito. I thought the guacamole lacked flavor but the chicken fajitas and the salsa were good. The beans and rice that came with the fajitas was good too. They did forget my tortilla though. Would be open to trying our other items on the menu. read more

Dinner plate under $17. I had the 2 breaded fish taco plate with beans and rice, the chipotle ranch was tangy with the right amount of savory. My husband had a 2 beef taco plate and said it was a nice crisp shell and not too greasy. He's not a fan of frijoles, but he ate all of it on his plate even after having tacos for lunch today too. Gabriela was our server and she did a great job, our food was out on the table fast. It's very small inside, but the patio has more room for a group. We have driven by here numerous times and never thought to stop. So when we were in the area, we noticed it was busy so decided to stop. Why have I not tried this place? It is amazing. Service was amazing and the man who took our order was great. We talked to him about it being our first time and he made sure to take care of us. He recommended plates that were popular so that was definitely a plus. A hole in the wall but exceptional service/food. The patio is a must on those hot summer days, too. Since we could not make a selection because we wanted everything, we decided on the two entree plate to get the top two items I wanted. I went with the hard shell taco and tamale that came with rice and beans. The rice and beans made the food that much better. Definitely recommend both. Overall, great place and great service. They have some happy hour deals so we will def be back to have a drink with some great food. read more

My husband ordered me a tostada and instead I got soggy chips with beans and lettuce. He tried to order a kids bean and cheese burrito and instead they added a kids meal that was more expensive and when my husband asked them to change it they argued with him and would not change the order. On a rare rainy evening in So Cal we decided to order to-go from a local favorite Alfredo's, the food was terrific, carnitas plate, crunchy chicken taco and a few extra sides. The team was friendly, prompt and the order was ready at the time they stated when I phoned in. The only request I have to improve their rating to a 5 is to include two small chip bags instead of one with orders. In restaurant they give you up to two baskets of chips. read more

Finally, my sisters and I decided to give it a try. The service was great. I didn't get the name of the gentleman who served us, but he made us feel welcomed and right at home the moment we walked in to the establishment Ordered the carne asada burrito plate with rice and beans and it was delicious. This visit, on Cinco de Mayo of all days was utterly fantastic!!!. Service was prompt and uber courteous. A couple of Modelo's and chips with salsa to start (as one would expect). Chips were fresh and salsa was good. Not fantastic, but good nonetheless. Wifey got the shrimp enchiladas and I a two taco combo. Both entrees come with rice and beans, both of which were tasty AF!!! Wifey said the enchiladas were amazing and my taco combo consisted of one cochinito (pork) and one asada. Each was gratuitously filled with aforementioned meats, the cochinito with avocado and pickled red onions (absolutely superb), the asada with avocado and pico de gallo, also superb. My boyfriend and I have been going to Alfredos for years and ordering for delivery... we recently ordered huevos rancheros and toast. Not only did the order come in complete disarray but it tasted awful and the toast was not even toasted at all!! When we called to speak to management, he was very rude. Did not offer any apology and proceed to blame it all on the delivery driver. Unfortunately, we are not going back or ordering from them anymore!! First time i ever come here and will be the last , i ordered a wet burrito with a chile relleno inside and to my disappointment the takeout box was overfilled and spilled all in the bag , i get that i maybe could've been extra careful holding it but why would you put a wet burrito in a half container thats already flimsy to begin with ! i bought this for my lunch at work and HAD to eat it as i only had 30 minutes but to my surprise this isn't even an authentic chile relleno !!!!!!! The egg looks like it was ment to be an omelette at first and then they just stuck the chile in between which is NOT an AUTHENTIC CHILE RELLENO . I love that this place has been here forever, I use to come with my family as a little girl and now I can bring my kids by. Good food, fast service and a clean place to sit. Not much more you can ask for when looking for a quick bite to eat after work. I had the chicken flautas, my son had bean and cheese burrito and my daughter just came for the chips lol.
