Dinner plate under $17. I had the 2 breaded fish taco plate with beans and rice, the chipotle ranch was tangy with the right amount of savory. My husband had a 2 beef taco plate and said it was a nice crisp shell and not too greasy. He's not a fan of frijoles, but he ate all of it on his plate even after having tacos for lunch today too. Gabriela was our server and she did a great job, our food was out on the table fast. It's very small inside, but the patio has more room for a group. I'll be back, I enjoyed all of it, from the warm tortilla chips and salsa to the great staff.

We have driven by here numerous times and never thought to stop. So when we were in the area, we noticed it was busy so decided to stop. Why have I not tried this place? It is amazing. Service was amazing and the man who took our order was great. We talked to him about it being our first time and he made sure to take care of us. He recommended plates that were popular so that was definitely a plus. A hole in the wall but exceptional service/food. The patio is a must on those hot summer days, too. Since we could not make a selection because we wanted everything, we decided on the two entree plate to get the top two items I wanted. I went with the hard shell taco and tamale that came with rice and beans. The rice and beans made the food that much better. Definitely recommend both. Overall, great place and great service. They have some happy hour deals so we will def be back to have a drink with some great food.

    Taquitos plate was so good!

Great food and great service! Visiting from NorCal and looking for that authentic LA Mexican food experience. I was not disappointed, reminded me of when I used to live down here! Clean and friendly. Thank you!

We made a random stop to get something to eat and decided on the ranchero burrito (carne asada and chorizo) and enchiladas de camarones. The carne asada was tender and paired well with the chorizo. The enchilada sauce was tasty. It's a bit pricey for what the serving size but everything has gone up

Tucked away in Lomita, this unassuming gem delivers an authentic taste of Yucatán. The green chilaquiles--crisp tortilla chips drenched in tangy salsa verde and crowned with over-easy eggs--are a standout, especially alongside the rich, house-made refried beans. The Boxito burrito, a masterful blend of slow-cooked pork, rice, and beans laced with a deep, earthy black sauce, transports you straight to Merida. With warm, attentive service from Angel and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, this spot is a must-visit for South Bay diners. Thanks for reading

Two item combo. Chicken taco, chicken enchilada. $19 and change. Erroneously didn't include salsa.

I've tried several items. Food for the most part is good. Menudo is the best in town. Restaurant is cozy with patio seating. Several TV's broadcast sports or current events for your viewing pleasure. Service is pleasant, friendly, or surly depending on your server.

If you're craving for a good wet burrito do not go here. Their so called shredded beef burrito is not shredded. It's chunks of beef semi shredded. The sauce is discussing. This was a waste of my $20.

2 Taco combo... asada y cochinito. Comes w arroz con frijoles

I was luckily able to bring 2 of my friends with me to try this place out! I came on a Saturday and there was only one other table that was occupied. It was pretty empty which saddened me because once I tried the food I was BLOWN away. The chips and salsa come complimentary as a starter/table finger food. that salsa... oh my. the salsa!!!! I am soooooo PICKY with my salsa. They absolutely nailed this salsa. The flavor, spice level, texture!!! It hit every single mark in my brain and taste buds. If the house salsa is good, then you know the food is also going to smack. The menu looks so appetizing, it was honestly hard to decide what I wanted to eat. I ordered some steak nachos as an appetizer with my friends based on a photo I saw on Yelp. 12/10. beautiful!!! They put a healthy portion of meat on it! Everything was just so spot on. The tortilla chips were all crunchy, no soggy nacho chips here. The sour cream, guac, pico... please order it. The meat was so flavorful, tender and had like no fatty pieces on it. Everyone needs to try it honestly. I ended up going simple and ordered a steak torta with everything on it. The waiter offered a side of jalapenos as well, which I happily accepted. 10/10. I was only able to eat half. I gave the other half to my extremely picky father and he liked it a lot. That's how you know this place is that girl. Can't forget the dessert. I ordered the flan, the waiter convinced us.. he said its home made. Which I would hope! It was a small piece and was flavorful. Creamy, smooth, just melt into your tongue. Also melts into your heart. Not overly sweet. Just the right amount of cajeta on it. 10/10. Horchata was very tasty to me. Right amount of sweetness to it. Service was good. Drinks were always filled, salsa and chip refills were always offered and filled. He took great care of us. They gave us lollipops with the check!! Omg so cute, my heart! Parking is difficult as it is only street parking. Majority of the parking also gets taken by the customers who go to the coffee shop across the street. I am def bookmarking this place to come back. It is so delicious. I plan on bringing my family here next. Me enamore de este restaurante!

I've been here before, and the birria tacos were exactly what I needed for a late-night craving. Crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling and strong flavor - they really hit the spot. I ended up having four of them. The consomé on the side was really good too - rich and flavorful, almost something I could've just had on its own. The street tacos were solid. The carnitas had that tender, slightly crisp texture, and the al pastor added a bit more seasoning and contrast. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward and satisfying. Service was friendly, and the setup is quick and casual. In the South Bay where places tend to close early, it was nice that they were open until around 10pm.
