Great place to watch the World Cup and have a few drinks. The food is delicious and authentic and the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. Food is prepared made to order with a lot made in front of you as you stand in line to make your order. Plenty of tables in the main dining area as well as patio seating and tables in the bar area. Parking can be challenging during busy times, but I have not had a big issue with it when I get there early. You can also order food to go and the staff is always great! They definitely take care of the customer! Last time we went we ordered the surf and turf nachos as well as the asada nachos. Both were stacked with meat and the surf and turf had plenty of shrimp! We definitely had enough for a 2nd meal the next day. The salsas are made fresh and complement every dish. Will definitely be ordering from here again! read more

After a day at the aquarium we had a craving for seafood . Found this place because I needed a good Miche and well it's in the name so it had to be good. It's an order and then sit down type of place which I don't really like because it puts pressure on your order but then we went bananas and over ordered. The fish chicharones were fantastic and those fry's alone I would go back for. The cóctel was delicious and paired with endless hot sauces. Good amount of pulpo and shrimp. Tacos were huge and I have to say we loved it all. Sticky tables is my only complaint but other than that, we loved it. Wish the whittier one opened up so I can have this more often. read more

I had seen their ads on Instagram and wanted to give it a try. I had a plate of 3 tacos: Deep fried fish, grilled fish and potato. All three were really good and came with a side of refried beans and rice. My bf had the same, plus an order of ceviche (he really liked it and I'll have to take his word for it since I'm allergic to shrimp). The mango michelada was HUGE, with mango chunks and dripping with chammy and I couldn't finish it... not even close. I would probably have a regular sized beer or something else next time (this particular location has a full bar). Fish tacos are great. We usually get one of the OG beach boxes. It pretty much feeds our office staff and they love it. The only downfall was that door dash delivery driver didn't know that the box had food in it and should not have been placed on its side vertical smh. So all our tacos and fries were all shifted to one side. Lucky we were able to save. If the staff at restaurant would remind customers/food delivery to lay it flat and not to have vertical. read more

I read the reviews but wanted to judge it myself. Ordered tostada Reyna, ceviche, shrimp cocktail, pescado chicharrones, shrimp and fish Baja tacos and pescado sarandeado. Everything was mediocre at best. Very bland and requires you to add a lot of condiments and salsa to make it decent. The worst part of it all was the pescado sarandeado. This is NOT pescado sarandeado. It's butterflied deep fried tilapia. Disgusting! The cashier said it was sea bass, so I guess she didn't know. YOU DONT DEEP FRY AND CALL IT SARANDEADO. read more

This was my first visit here--normally I make the 30-minute trek to Paramount for my fish taco fix. We ordered the box of six, each taco cradling a thick, juicy slab of white fish, cloaked in a golden, crisp-yet-airy batter. They came topped with the usual suspects--crisp shredded cabbage, creamy sauce, and fresh pico de gallo. On the side, we had refried beans with warm flour tortillas. The beans were rich and velvety, with that unmistakable depth you get when they're cooked in manteca--though I'm sure, for health reasons, they weren't. Either way, they had that nostalgic, savory "abuelita's kitchen" flavor that makes you want to lick the spoon. Yum! I'd return just for the beans which were better than the tacos. At 6:30 p.m., the atmosphere was lively but still family-friendly. I can imagine it gets noisier later, which would be fine--except for the sound system. Either the mic is terrible, or the announcer was swallowing it whole, because I couldn't make out a single word... and that's without an accent to blame. Honestly, the sound was the worst part of the visit, which says a lot about how good the food is--because that's why people come here. Prices were fair, especially compared to the Paramount spot. This location occupies the space where a previous Mexican restaurant resided (among others) and retains much of the old restaurant and bar configurations. The main theme is seafood-inspired fast food, tacos and burritos. They are available as fish, shrimp, as well as a variety of others, including asada, pollo, carnitas, pastor, potato, and vegetarian. All very good - I can't fault any variety I've had. The Ceviches were excellent, with shrimp, fish, octopus, conch, and scallop options -- lots of protein with a tasty aguachile sauce. I've never tried their Micheladas despite them being heavily promoted. (I don't drink alcohol, so I can't make a comment.) One particularly nice feature was the two islands, where there were dozens of bottles of hot sauce. I haven't seen any local restaurant that has more bottles of hot sauce. Ordering here was a little funky. I think you're supposed to go the right, wrap around the counter, try to remember your order as you wrap around, and order at the front. We finally got here today we just finished our plates. It's 6:24pm , Sunday funday ! ! Vibes are "BAJA CALI" and we loved it. We got the shrimp and fish taco box. The fish was fried like we asked but very mushy and pasty like. Delicious , but the fish was not flakey like I expected. Shrimp tacos SLAPPED!! We ordered a mango michelada and the bartender brought it out , looked at the receipt, took the drink back and added a bunch more stuff to it making it very hard to drink wasn't the mango michelada we were used to. He should have made a new drink. We were most definitely annoyed. So... if I see that bartender again , we wont order from him. He has ZERO integrity and passion for his work. The drink basically sucked. It was t the worst experience but it also wasn't good enough for us to come back. We only live five minutes away. What a shame. This restaurant has plenty of seating, is clean, and has a self serve counter of various sauces and salsas to choose from. My husband got the fish taco box with half shrimp and half fish tacos-- which he said were pretty good. He really liked how fresh and hot the seafood was and the sauce they put on the tacos. For him, his experience was a 4/5. For me, I had the ceviche tostada and it was not my favorite tostada de ceviche. It wasn't flaky, it was more so crumbled like a ground beef texture and was too salty for my liking. We didn't finish it. We also had the coctèl de camarones (shrimp cocktail) and that one was pretty standard. You have to add a lot of condiments to it to make it tasty, the color was light brown very off putting for a coctel because it's usually red, not sure if they do it on purpose so you can season it yourself? The service was pretty mid, the young man upfront was pretty helpful and kind while another lady handing out food was straight up rude. They forgot to give my husband his curtido so I went up to ask but before she let me finish she said "WE CHARGE" and then to avoid an unnecessary confrontation I got my wallet and asked her "how much" and she just walked away, to which the young man said, "wow, don't worry about it sorry about that."
