Such a wonderful preschool! The director Dar and all the teachers are so great, patient with the kiddos, kind, fun & thoughtful! The school is such a calm, welcoming environment for a first time kiddo at school. They do fun family friendly activities, inviting family to the school events throughout the year. The teachers keep parents updated throughout the day & week (sending pictures & updates on the kiddos), great open communication! They all treat each kid & parent as family, and get the kiddos ready for kindergarten! I would highly recommend this preschool and TK program for kiddos! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this preschool. My daughter joined Eden Lutheran in the summer of 2024 and they welcomed to her with open arms. She had never been in daycare before and this was her first time and the ladies of Eden Lutheran made her feel like she had been there since she was a baby. As a parent, I appreciate their constant communication, activities and events that they have for the kids. It's truly a great feeling to know that your children are being taken care of by such caring, compassionate individuals. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Miss. This facility is not just any preschool facility, it's a community. Ms. Dar Dar had become a household name for BOTH my children. My daughter loved coming here, enjoyed the friendships made, and the activities prepared by each teacher. Even after she "graduated" preschool, she asks about her preschool teachers. My son started here earlier than my daughter. He started just shy of 3 years old. He is such a picky eater, but he always asked for Ms. Dar Dar's butter pasta WITH PEAS (his words were the green balls)! I was sadden when it was time to move my little guy now to his grade school. I can't emphasize enough how much the staff became like family. I work downtown so it was so nice to have their location just down the street. I am so grateful for all the memories made here and the teachers giving my children all the love and care they received! Thank you Eden fam! My son 3 years there, started with Nettie , she teach very good, my son learned how to wear clothes,how to write name and letters, special the math, Nettie teach him more than his age knows, and now my son in the grade one , math can jump to grade two. So I really wanted to leave a review for the manager Darlene "Dar Dar " I called earlier today for enrollment information and just a little bit of some background on why our family was looking for a new daycare for our one year-old and Darlene provided exceptional service. She provided a lot of information on the program and her experience with children, especially toddlers. It honestly felt like I was calling a family member for advice. She was able to empathize and also offer tools I can exercise with my toddler. She is very friendly and you can tell she has a big heart. My son came to this school when he was 3. I love this school, Dar a.k.a Dar Dar by the students is beyond amazing and exceptional warm living and caring. Because of my house My son had to start at6:30am everyday. Dar was always there every morning and my son loves Dar too. My son was prepared and more then ready by the time he started kindergarten. They do not push religion on you but they do teach them prayer. What I loved about this, was that my son learned to pray before we eat and he loved it, it's just gives them a different perspective and appreciation of things. Our child attended Eden Lutheran for 2.5 years, beginning at the age of two. He was immediately comfortable there as the staff are warm, fun and friendly and the older kids interact very well with the younger ones. We appreciated that it was a small school environment for ages 2-5, and that the teachers and director provided wonderful attention to our child. He looked forward to going to school each day to see his teachers and friends. We are happy with his learning, play time and all of the art he brought home each week. I went to work very comfortable each day knowing my little one was happy and in good care. Our child has been here nearly 18 months and we love it. The staff is warm and loving. The curriculum is appropriate. They do lots of extra activities with the kids for every holiday. The Christmas performance is always a real treat. I especially appreciate the location, esp that the preschool is far from the street and really hidden away. The director is very accomodating. Our child thoroughly enjoys the days spent here. We have even recommended this preschool to a couple of friends with preschool aged kids. I had previously toured several preschools in Riverside but this place immediately felt like home. read more

My son attended Eden Lutheran preschool for 2 years. The staff are friendly and helpful and caring. Very family oriented. I really liked the focus of education and learning also with play. My son tested out of kindergarten and can read at a 1st grade level now due to the foundation the school provided. All I did is follow there instructions. I love this school. My daughter started coming here when she was 3. She attended for 2 years and by the time she started kindergarten she was more than prepared. The teachers really take their time with the kids and develop sincere relationships with them. I have my middle child enrolled there now and my son will be going in a year and a half. I researched several preschools in Riverside and chose Eden. This preschool is so much more than just preschool/daycare. The staff at Eden take such great care of your child they treat every child like it's their family. I never once worried about leaving my daughter I knew she was going to be very well taken care of. The pre k teacher Mrs. Doris is amazing. Not only was my daughter ready for kinder I feel she was advanced because of mrs. Doris. I enrolled my son in this school when he was 3 and potty trained. I did a lot of research on preschools here in Riverside and did a fair share of tours. Eden Lutheran was just what I was looking for. For me the location couldn't be better. The staff has been nothing but friendly and informative since day 1. The price is reasonable considering all you need to bring is your child and an extra change of clothes. Food is provided and made on the school grounds and you always know what is on the menu. Safety at the school is great. The children are always being watched, identification is needed to pick up children and if there is ever an emergency the school has their own emergency room with ample items for the children. My son has learned so much from letters, numbers, shapes, colors, even a few of the presidents. I highly recommend Eden Lutheran to anyone looking for child care. The class sizes are small, the crafts are adorable, the amount of things the children learn are remarkable! The school years are planned out and I've received a copy of what fun activities my son will be having this year. I'm extremely pleased with choosing this preschool to enroll my son in. read more

My daughter stayed home from the time she was born until she was almost three. She is my first and only child and I was hesitant to leave her with people I did not know. It took me months to find a preschool. I chose Eden Lutheran. She started out a few days a week and has now been going five days a week for over a year. She LOVES Eden Lutheran. She is happy and excited to go to preschool every day. She loves her teachers and friends. The staff is AMAZING. All of my children have attended Eden and they have all done extremely well in school. The experienced staff really work with the strengths of each student so they can reach their full potential. My 4 year old is already reading! My son loves coming to school and loves receiving his morning hugs from all of the teachers. I would recommend this school to anyone, the prices are reasonable, hot lunch is included, and they potty train your 2 year old. Can't get much better than Eden. read more
