Celeste is an amazing director and is so fair to all her staff. She was my director at another facility for over 5 years. She was always available when staff needed her assistance and would check on staff to make sure we were ok. She always tried to make us feel like we were more than coworkers. Just moved to riverside and finding a daycare for my son was by far the most stressful time. This daycare made everything so easy for me and my son loves it. The staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful. It's a flat monthly rate depending on part time or full time. They also accept certain programs that help pay for the tuition you just have to ask them at the office and the email you a list of places that help out if you qualify. I'm grateful for this day care and staff beyond happy and so is my son. read more

My nephew previously attended this child care and there was an issue with the workers not properly notifying my sister of policy regarding bringing food to daycare. Instead of de-escalating the matter an employee got verbally aggressive with my sister "we don't allow outside food here he will need to go join his class and you can throw his food away" perhaps you guys should have notified or reminded her of the policy and left it at that. My sister also requested to speak to the manager and was told she can try but won't be contacted back. They have way too many kids per teacher. We will be double checking the "policy" for how many children are allowed per student and making a report because not only are there not enough teachers my nephew has came home 3 TIMES with unexplained bruises. Instead of de-escalating the matter they are attempting to find reasons to blame my sister and put her in the wrong as well to cover their own mistakes. I don't suggest this child care. My child attended We Kare and overall it is a good daycare/preschool. The teachers are friendly and the kids have fun. Ms. Izabella is very professional and clear with what is needed if anything is needed from you. Ms. Phillips and Ms. Sanchez were always smiling and kind. The prices are reasonable. We selected We Kare after interviewing several daycares when we had to start our 18 month old in daycare for the first time. We Kare was very considerate and empathetic during this transition as both mom & baby alike adjusted to the time apart. We Kare was always very communicative with how he was doing, what he was learning, and any needs/concerns. They treated our son like family, and I could tell he felt the same about his teachers, especially Ms. Nancy. It's a big step to trust someone else with your child, especially before they can communicate for themselves, but We Kare exceeded our hopes and expectations. I especially appreciated the daily photos of our son playing or learning, it helped us know what he was doing and made missing him less hard. We only disenrolled due to a move, otherwise we happily would have kept him there long-term. read more

I am so grateful for We Kare Daycare & Preschool. My daughter had previously attended a different childcare. I had to remove her and that's when we found We Kare Daycare. My daughter's state of anxiety has completely decreased from the previously childcare facility. She no longer fights and cries when I drop her off. I can feel the difference when I pick her up. She is a lot more happier at We Kare. I appreciate all the staff. They even have Class Dojo and provide updates throughout the day. read more

It took me about a year to get the courage to write this review and also to find a good attorney. My son started attending the school May / June of 2019. At that time my son had just started therapy for potentially being on the spectrum of autism. They were well aware of this. my son is very active and hyper and children with autism learn at a different pace and they were well aware of his few delays. I can write a book on the neglect this school offers! Let me just start off by saying the reason why I disconnected our relationship was because I picked my kid up one day and his arm was dangly and no one said nothing. Ms. sally was watching him at the time. he looked real scuffed up that day. His shoes were in different places in the playground he had boogers all over his face and he was crying. I asked what was wrong with him and she said she didn't know. She said he seemed normal. usually when I pick him up he's always dead thirsty. I hand him his water bottle and he can't hold it. So I ask what's wrong with his arm. Again Ms Sally says I don't know. I thought it was his wrist as it would get dislocated every so often. Well when it didn't pop back into place that evening, the next morning I took him to emergency. Found out he had a DISLOCATED ELBOW. I was so angry. I called the school and I left a message for Celeste which she returned that afternoon. They were acting like no one knew what happened. Not one person could tell me what happened throughout their shift and what happened to my son. I asked her to check the cameras and when she got back to me that evening she said the cameras were scuffed and didn't see anything. Why was I so stupid to believe that?! By the way.... that's very normal that her staff didn't communicate with each other so when someone takes over a shift they don't update them on the children's status... I complained about that as well! anyways Ms Sally said she didn't know what happened and all the other teachers couldn't remember. Miss Maria is the morning teacher and her English is off completely. she said she didn't know what happened. But then I talked to Ms Vanessa who's the assistant supervisor at the school . She said she was walking him out and my son pulled back and started crying and she said she couldn't sleep all night because she said when she found out his elbow was dislocated she remembered and she thought she did that to him. Of course it angered me and a few days pass and I hear they fired ms. Sally. they only did this to show that they were doing something to take action!!! but the funny thing is they didn't give me an incident report. they would give me an incident report if he got bit (happened 3 x) or when his fingers got slammed in the door in the restroom... So I said where's my incident report to celeste. She had Miss Sally write me a letter a handwritten letter. That is totally illegal and out of protocol. So I complained about that. so then she had Miss Sally fill out a BEHAVIORAL incident report. So instead of arguing with her because she's a snake because it wasn't a behavioral incident it was an INJURY incident... I crossed it out WITH red pen and I wrote at the top incident I also filled in the details WITH RED MARKER because they left it blank about what happened. So I made sure to write that they dislocated my child's elbow but nobody seems to be responsible for it. I made sure to make color copies and I dropped it off in celeste's box. She wasn't too happy about that but the reason why she did all of that was to avoid filing an incident like this with her insurance and other big repercussions.. Snake! There is so so much more neglect that comes from the school. From what they eat what they drink and everything else in between. Please don't take your kids here read more

My son is very high energy and The teachers are so patient and understanding they allow my son to express himself it's like they really care and are always kind and helping working with me, every time there is a issue I'm always notified and together we try to come to a solution I love that I'm included. Not going to lie, my nieces vocabulary has expanded so much since she has started going to this daycare. I am going to school to work with kids and have interned at a Preschool, so I know how challenging the work can be. My biggest issue with this day care is the fact that my niece has a runny nose EVERY WEEK, it's gotten worse so I am under the impression they don't sanitize and disinfect as often licensing requires. It's unbelievable and quite upsetting. I ranked 2 stars because health, proper care and safety should be number 1 priority of these children. read more

Edited: Celeste, the director of the daycare, has removed her review of We Kare Daycare so you cannot find her other Yelp reviews. Everyone should know, the first reviewer of this business, Celeste, is the director of the daycare. In looking at her other reviews, she called a fast food employee "worthless" because he forgot to put an item in her bag. Everyone makes mistakes... but "worthless"? That's who is "caring" for your children at We Kare Daycare. I enrolled my child in before and after school care in October 2017. We lasted 6 months before we were wrongfully terminated. Celeste is a bigot and this place is not LGBTQ friendly. My child is transgender, and once that came out at the daycare there were nothing but problems. For being a Christian facility, you would think that it would be accepting and tolerant of people with differences. Unfortunately that was very much not the case. Some things that occurred are: My child was forgotten at school. The daycare blamed my child. My child was written up for kissing and being overly affectionate with students. Video surveillance was misinterpreted. Because my child is transgender, the daycare colored everything my child did as sexual. In reality, my child was playing and was very close in proximity to this other child, who also said my kid didn't kiss them. Even though this other child also said the kissing did not happen, Celeste refused to rescind the disciplinary action against my child. My child was denied using the bathroom of their choice. The doorbell outside broke and we were left standing outside in the rain because no one would come to the door. My child is a vegetarian. Celeste told me to bring a doctor's note supporting a medical need for a dietary restriction. I told her it was my child's decision, not a medical need. They would not allow me to provide a lunch on full care days, so there were some days my child was not able to eat because they did not accommodate with a vegetarian meal. This also included parties, all that was available on St. Patrick's Day was meat sandwiches. My child could not participate. My child had allergic conjunctivitis, a non contagious form of pink eye. 100% not contagious. I have a doctor's letter to prove it. I sent my child to daycare and was promptly called to pick my child up. I complied and picked up my child, though I explained that it was allergies. The next day, Celeste called me negligent and questioned my parenting, and told me it was my fault that other staff and students were out sick. That is impossible, since my child's allergic reaction was not contagious. She implied that it was my intention to get everyone sick, so daycare services were TERMINATED. The teachers at We Kare Daycare are hit and miss. Miss Jennifer was the WORST, and thankfully she no longer works there. Miss Julie was very kind to my child, and she quit (probably because of how messed up that place is). Miss Nicolette is a strong, amazing woman. She doesn't belong at We Kare Daycare. She belongs somewhere that her determination and love for children is matched by other caregivers around her. Miss Maria doesn't always understand what you are trying to tell her, and sometimes she does yell at the kids. Miss Angela is another teacher who doesn't belong at We Kare Daycare. She is such a sweetheart, and I fear that place is going to drain all of that sweetness out of her. As for the facility itself, most of the time the classrooms were clean. Breakfasts were almost always unhealthy (hash browns or marshmallow cereal) and snacks were unhealthy most of the time too. Goldfish crackers, cookies, chex mix... No fresh fruits or vegetables like apples and carrots. The hours of operation were ideal (that's why we stayed so long!). There aren't very many daycares in the area that open at 6am, so we tried to stick it out as long as we could. However, I am able to see clearly now who Celeste is and she is not someone I want "caring" for my child. If you are LGBTQ+ or are an Ally, do not give this place your business. read more

I live in the San Bernardino mountains and in May I changed jobs. I had to make a hard decision to move my 3 year old son from We Kare to a daycare closer to home. Biggest mistake ever!!! It was a nightmare. I called Ms. Celeste and let her know my situation, and she welcomed my son back with open arms. The staff is always friendly and caring. The facility provides great breakfast, lunch, snacks activities and learning opportunities. Unlike other places, We Kare prides itself on a clean facility. My son used to get sick ALL THE TIME! Not anymore! We love Ms. Maria, Ms. Venessa and all the staff at We Kare. read more

Unfortunately I couldn't wait to get my daughter out of here. My daughter told me about a accident that happened and no one ever told me about it until my daughter told me so I had to call and make sure it happened and it did. "Breakfast" is eggs (my daughter doesn't like) or toast with butter. Lunch was more food adults would like. Snacks: graham cracker, or SALTINES. No fruits no veggies (most important things for growing children). The "director" needs to make changes because it seems like all they care about is getting their money and they have made it very obvious for me to see. For the amount of money they were getting from me they should have at least fed my daughter better. She was there for at least 2 1/2 months and she didn't learn much except for how to pray before eating which is the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. I enrolled my 2 year old son here after being a stay at home mom for the first two years of his life. We only lasted 3 days before I decided to take him out and request a refund. I was very unimpressed by the facilities. The playground seems nice but the classrooms aren't inviting or vibrant at all and don't seem to be the cleanest. When I would drop my son off there was always at least two other kids hysterically crying and the teacher did not seem the least bit concerned. On the second day when I arrived to drop my son off I overheard the teacher, Maria, speaking to a student in an inappropriate tone. I understand that working with toddlers must be very challenging, but you could clearly hear the frustration in her voice when she yelled at the 2 year old child, "DON'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!" These children barely even know how to talk! On the third day I arrived to pick-up my son early and they were on the playground. I saw Maria questionably shake a little girl that was sitting on her lap. Again it looked like she did this out of frustration. At that point I spoke to the director and let them know my concerns and that I no longer wanted to bring my son there. They were cooperative with issuing my refund and apologetic. The director later called me and said that they reviewed surveillance footage and didn't see anything inappropriate. All I know is I ended up enrolling my son in another daycare that he loves and I have never had the uneasy feelings I experienced with We Kare. read more
