We started about 1 1/2 months ago bringing my almost 3 yr old daughter here. She normally stayed 5 days a week with one of her 2 grandmothers that she loves. But in the past month she would rather go to school her 3 days a week then grandmother houses. The teachers are great with her. At the beginning she would cry every morning and one of the morning teachers would pick her up walk over the the morning lessen plan and have her sit in their laps. By the time I would walk out the door she was done crying. Also just in the little time she has been going here she has started talking so much more and starting to make sentences and tries to sing the alphabet. I recommend this place ! Our son came in right when he turned 2 -years old and he was under the speaking range for his age (due to his prematurity) and in one month of attending Kids Time, his at home speech services were cut down to twice a month now. Hello everyone, I literally can not say enough good things about this place. But the most important thing I can say is when I drop my daughter off I have no doubt that she is in the hands of loving people who treat her as if she was their own. My daughter, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was two years old (requiring insulin shots, carb counting, and sugar checks every few hours) so leaving her with people who were not aware of how to manage her diabetes was not in the question. I'm so thankful that I stumbled across Kids Time, walking in one of the teachers had already dealt with Diabetes so that was a huge relief. Then to witness her teachers dive in and learn how to care for my daughter was not just beautiful, but powerful. They all got together discussed my daughter's needs and found a way to make it work. Great place for children. My daughter attended at age 2 and by 3 she was writing her name, identifying letters/numbers/sight words. On top of that, the staff is amazing. They genuinely love kids. Kids Time is a home away from home for both of our children. They feel very safe and welcomed. The staff and Mrs. Renuka are all so wonderful. They take the time to work with the children on their individual behavior/learning needs. Since June, my 3 year old has developed so much. They use visual aids that children can understand and relate to. My daughter always has a goal to have good behavior to be on the green smiley face. She is expressing her feelings, talking more, and even showing me sign language and teaching me Spanish words she learned. She sings the songs at home that she learned at school and is generally more confident and outgoing. Mrs. Renuka goes above and beyond for the children and their families and makes us feel like family (since the first day I met her). My older daughter had fun activities and field trips during the summer that Ms. Edith planned and facilitated. She loves going there after school and sometimes she doesn't want to leave because she is having so much fun with her friends. They both talk about how good Ms. Emma's cooking is and how much they like their teachers.
