I use to be a frequently flyer with tom as my nail tech. I called two days ago and spoke with a man, pretty sure it was Tom. Went through the next two days with him about his schedule. I scheduled to get my nails done with tom at 3 on Monday 11/24. I went in a little early because I got out of work early and come to find out they didn't have time for me and asked me to reschedule or go with someone else. The whole time they were kinda giggling about it. I like Tom's work so I'd rather have him do my nails but after being forgotten about and laughed at I'm not exactly thrilled. The absolute worst! I gave this place two different tries a year apart. But I just can't believe this place is even still in business. My first experience consisted of a rude technician (female) and a gel manicure. But most recent experience was unreal. My technician (an older man, can't recall his name) was something else. When removing my gel to. to prepare for a full set of acrylic nails, I nicely asked him to not use the electrical nail file directly on my natural nails, because my nails are extremely thin (in part because of those electric nail files), and the file burns and hurt me every single time. He snapped at me and said your "nails are fine". He literally proceeded to argue with me about the fact that the electric nail file hurts me (trying to convince me I'm crazy and i can't possible be in pain?!) and told me he "has to to use it". I was still being nice (probably nicer than he deserved at this point) and said actually no you don't have to, and requested that he prep my nails with a nail file/buffing block. His annoyance/anger was palpable and visible, and it got very uncomfortable for me and even other customers around me. The women directly around me were shocked and giving me sympathetic glances. He rudely said well I cannot guarantee your nail if I don't use the electric nail file. I was so uncomfortable I wasn't going to argue further and just said fine. He continued to make some unnecessary comments about me being difficult, and remind me multiple times that these nails wouldn't last or be guaranteed...talking down to me incessantly. In hindsight I wish I just got up and walked out, but I was in shock this was happening. But instead I progressively got more frustrated and angry myself and decided to not accept the shitty job he was (perhaps intentionally) doing. I spoke up several times to fix things, including poor shaping and poor polish application. When I was under the light drying my toes, I noticed that my dark nail color was still very transparent and inconsistent. Some nails looked two shades lighter, I went back to him AGAIN to fix it and he angrily applied polish to my nails. When I left there, they still looked rough, but that was as good as they were gonna get. I will NEVER step foot in that salon and warn others to avoid this shitshow. You can believe I will never step foot in that nail salon ever again and warn everyone against Eden Nails. read more

I made an appointment for a pedicure yesterday with a specific tech, and although that tech was in the shop, she did not do my toes. I heard 2 other people come in that also requested that same tech but weren't given her. That one tech must be the best so they tell you that you'll get her just to get you in there, then they don't have her do the appointment. The guy who did my toes was in a rush, he didn't leave the nails under the light long enough and already there are marks on several toes. The gel was not hardened. In addition to being rushed in and out the water was cold. Who goes on to get a pedicure in cold water?... nobody. They said there wasn't a lot of hot water because they're busy. Then they charged almost 60 dollars for a bad experience and poor job. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I went here to get a dip powder manicure. I'm not from the area but this seemed like a nice place to go. When the nail tech was applying the dip powder, he did not apply the activator & applied a light cured gel top coat. I've never had this done or seen it done. Now, 3 days later, the dip powder is chipping off. I paid $40. I've never had dip powder chip this quickly. I cannot go back bc, like I said, I'm not from the area. I made two appointments a week in advance with specific techs. We didn't get the techs I booked and our mani/pedis were done at opposite ends of the salon. My pedicure was good, and the tech did a nice job. However, my nails are not so great. I felt like I was annoying the tech, went in with a picture and showed what I was looking for and ended up with a sloppy paint dFrench manicure on acrylic tips that are so close to the edge of my natural nail everything makes my fingers hurt. My nails have bubbles and ridges and things are stuck in the white paint. This place was recommended, but I'd never go back. read more

$20 gel color change on acrylic nails. Mid-day Saturday I was the only one in the salon, which was a red flag, but even though there was no business she still seemed rushed. First, she did not even wipe away the dust before applying the polish, even then she went straight in with the color, no base coat. There are still remnants of the color I wanted removed around the edges of the new color. After I left I also had to file away the polish that had overlapped onto my fingers. With no base coat it was no surprise that my nails looked like this just two days later, they are now chipping on a few nails. Nice people, just not that bright. New to the area and was looking for a salon that does dip powder nails because I've had allergic reactions to gel polish and I just find that dip lasts longer. I've been twice. First, the 'manager' seems more interested in his phone than he is on fixing the batteries in the smoke alarm that keeps annoyingly chirping. I'm there to relax and nothing says stress than the constant chirping of a smoke alarm needing batteries. Twice in 6 weeks and he hadn't changed the batteries and after I mentioned it, and offered to pick Up batteries at Walmart, he showed me That he had batteries in the drawer. Seriously? I got Mani/pedis each time. The pedi technicians were kind and detail oriented. The first time I went, I got a dip French manicure . I was surprised when the technician applied the white with gel polish and not dip as my other salons have done. Needless to say, it chipped after a few days. The next time, I got a solid color dip, but the top coat was gel polish. Within 2 days the top coat was peeling off. I was leaving town so I just applied my own top Coat to try to hide the peeling. Also, this salon does not soak off dip polish but instead uses a dremel I prefer a soak off because I find it less damaging to my nails. I won't be back. read more

Manicure and pedicure was ok my nails look ok but I can definitely see where all of the negative comments come from. The nail tech was rude and bossy not really giving me direction and getting irritated when I asked to fix the shape and polish. I didn't get my cuticles cut because of all of the previous reviews about getting cut from being to rough. Personally it is a red flag when they ask you to pay beforehand. You want to make sure they are going to go above and beyond before spending that money. They only take cash tips just FYI (which most places prefer). They are way understaffed for the amount of people that come in. I came for a walk in but I would be pissed if I scheduled an appointment and had to wait and have people rotating every second. I go to a place to relax and do a better job then myself on my nails. Plus they are not clean and reuse equipment that is soaking in blue liquid by where you wash your hands. I don't want other people's dead skin on my body GROSS especially if someone has a fungal problem. I'm used to nail techs in Connecticut so I am definitely spoiled but I feel if you are paying for it you should have a quality experience. read more

First time here. Received a gift certificate. Came for a pedicure. Water got cold really fast and no jets in the foot bath like other places I have been. The place looked dirty and the massage chair I sat in was falling apart. Scrubbed my feet so much which was definitely needed but I felt like she was going to scrub them to the bone. And she kept hitting the back of my calf with the scrubber which cut up my leg. Staff was super friendly, at least. Had my nails cleaned up after my pedicure. They cut my cuticles and way too much. 3 fingers were left bleeding pretty bad. I left there and went to Walmart's bathroom to scrub my hands with soap and water. Won't be going here again read more

I wanted to love this place. When I walked in, I did - people were friendly and the salon was super clean. Tools were in a sealed, sterile packet too, unlike a place I tried in Laconia. The man who worked on my nails interrupted frequently to help other customers on the phone and some who walked in. Okay.. I guess. However, my gel manicure was done on Saturday afternoon and now, on Wednesday morning, I have a chipped tip, small chips at the base of several nails, and can see that the color looks a little streaky. This is not the most expensive place around, but for $32 dollars plus tip I would like to get at least 10-14 days before I feel like my nails are looking shabby. read more

Our experience here was a waste of time and money. My SIL and I got pedicures and my MIL got a gel manicure. Her manicure took a total of 15 minutes. I get gel manicures often and know that it isn't going last longer than the evening. Also, only 2 out of 10 nails looked good while the others had chips and were horrible. We believe the owner did hers. During my pedicure my cuticle was cut and the man either didn't notice or didn't care! He definitely didn't properly clean it or apologize. He painted it as if it wasn't bleeding all around my nail!!! We went to pamper ourselves on vacation and we spent a total of 30 minutes there with my pedicure lasting about 17 minutes and the manicure lasting 15! The tech hurt me, was peeling layers off my nails and when I looked concerned she told me not to look. Asked me if I wanted them shorter, I said no. Asked if I wanted the same shape (round) I said yes. She squared them all off so I asked her to round them so now unfortunately I have very short nails. The color is lackluster and doesn't look as dark as it was supposed. There are dents in every nail and they all looked rippled at the tips. My cuticles down look nice.
