We were there the last weekend in April to see our Granddaughter in the leading role and Grandson in multiple roles of a Musical which was wonderful. Harbour Playhouse is such a intimate venue. I only wish I could find some to write a grant for the Playhouse to expand or remodel, and also be able to afford wireless microphones or better sound systems. It has been a joy watching the littlest cast member now 7 or 8 grow thru the years and all of the other regular actors too. The Director is amazing with the actors and even has a young boy who has Autism and a little girl who has Down Syndrome in the cast, I think I saw this year, in the Musical. Hard to see when you are videoing the entire Musical. Please get this permanently closed status updated.. It may have been Black Out season when people tried to go as many theaters have Black Outs too where they take a break, but we will be there come the Fall for the next play or musical.. Anybody with grant writing skills and have a heart for the Arts, this could be your time to shine and find funding for a worthy cause that would be so appreciated, I am absolutely certain..

My daughter auditioned for a part and got it and she had an absolute blast in the production and hopes to go back. I've gone to two different productions and they are so such fun! They do their best to make you feel welcome and take care of you. They have snacks in the lobby, some free and some for a small fee that helps promote the playhouse. They offer inexpensive wine and soda and bottled water during intermission and before the show. The theatre itself needs a little renovating. it's very outdated. As someone who writes reviews that focus on disability accommodation, I have to honestly say that this place needs some work on ADA compliance. I'm sure they are legal--that's not the issue--it's how comfortable it is. If you have a wheelchair, you have to sit in the first few rows, and every time I've come in, they've been full, because no one has put up signs that say they are companion seats for wheelchairs. One time, i had to sit in the aisle, which is a safety and fire hazard. The bathrooms are awkward for wheelchair bound people too. Several of the seats are broken and need to be replaced or repaired. the balcony is outdated and there is no accessible access to the balcony theatre. Short of the renevations that are clearly needed, the theatre itself is cute, has much potential, and the shows are reasonably priced for a fun and family friendly evening out.

They are so technically knowledgeable that students don't just shake their booties, the dancers actually learn the technique and vocabulary necessary to correctly execute their dance moves. After taking here, I made the Stephen F. Austin State University Pom squad and we were National Champions three years in a row. This studio has produced dancers who have gone on to do great things involving dance. I love this studio!

I've been to Zoppé Circus in Redwood City a couple times in the past, and can say this is the best one yet! They gave silver and gold carnevale masks to VIP ticketholders at the entrance, but there's a small souvenir shop which sells masks as well. And you'll want one, to become part of the show. The Carnavale di Venezia was an extraordinary theme that they stuck with and executed beautifully, really touching upon emotions that I didn't expect, starting from the moment I walked into that circus tent. The bright and cozy atmosphere, italian circus music playing through the speakers, concessions like popcorn and cotton candy being sold from carts, a nostalgic and warm feeling of going back in time to the simple joys of going to the circus, as well as the beginning of theatre. Here's the exact timing and schedule for Saturday's evening show (7:00pm listed showtime on tickets): - 7:00 pre-show (outside circus tent) - 7:30 start time - 8:30 intermission (7 minutes) - 9:05 end of show Some of the acts were quite unique (coming from someone that goes to a lot of circuses), including an artist performing acrobatic moves while balancing on the tip of a cello, a stilt walker captivating the audience while walking on all four limbs, a Pinocchio bit with an adorable kid playing the wooden doll come to life, a mime/musician/ juggler creating rhythmic sound effects with balls, masquerade dancing, and live animal performances with both the trainers and animals (horse, pony, dogs) wowing the crowd. My fave was the dog show, with canines doing some typical and not-so-typical stunts and tricks. It was especially fun watching the little dogs ride on the back of the pony as it galloped around the ring. A lot of actors young and old impressed throughout the show, including a 3-year-old toddler, an adorable mini version of Nino the Clown. They all did a remarkable job on stage, regardless of age, every one of them just seemed genuine even when in character. Beyond laughter and amazement, this circus really brought the feeling of family, which could be felt not just seen. I couldn't help but leave this event smiling.

Great humor and very talented performers. 2 hours sounded like a long time and I wasn't sure how my kids would do having to sit still that long, but the show was great and time flew by. Would highly recommend for young families. Note that they have live music playing which my 5 year old found to be too loud at times, so if you have younger kids you might want to bring ear protection. They also only have lemonade for sale, so if you want water bring it yourself.

Safe well lit parking lot(see university parking website for details), medium sized theater, fantastic acoustics, ample leg space accommodations, and a diverse variety of entertainment throughout the year which boasts affordable patron pricing. Chester Gregory, a recording artist and Broadway alum, showcased a riveting performance which captivated our audience with a marvelous Rock n Soul Party for almost 90 marvelous minutes. Stevie Wonder's "Superstition", Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On", "Shindig"- 60s musical variety show, Jackie Wilson's "To Be Loved", and more great hits. The audience sang all night with this fabulous Star! I could have sang all night!
