We sat at the bar next to a few other folks, the bartender asked us if we knew what we would like. The bartender returned and my partner explained that we weren't sure what we wanted to order, that it was our first time in and asked if there was a menu we could view. The bartender responded with, ''no menus, it's easier that way''. I was taken back by not only the comment, but the tone of her voice (clearly not happy with our request). I turned to my boyfriend and said, let's go somewhere else! The speakeasy wasn't crowded, but, was part of the Elizabethtown St. Patrick's Day bar crawl. I don't believe that should have any effect on the regular menu or quality of service. We were disappointed with our experience (lack of) especially on such a special day.
