What a wonderful dining experience in a beautiful atmosphere! We enjoyed an amazing meal there recently and I was blown away by how good everything was. The fried mushrooms and onion rings in Guinness batter were a hit! They were crunchy and not greasy at all. Shepards Pie was to die for. Will order that next time for sure. Went to the Lucky Pint for my birthday and had a wonderful time! The food and service was fantastic. Authentic shepherds pie, crispy onion rings, fried mushrooms and fried pickles were excellent. Unique craft cocktail menu that is exceptional. The prices were very reasonable on the foods and drinks and they have happy hour specials on weekdays. The decor is warm and inviting with an Irish flare. The live edge bench by restrooms is a work of art. We came by boat and filled up with gas at Burnside marina and they let us park there. We called the Lucky Pint and they picked us up. Best service and experience we have had in the area and we will be back again soon! If you love Shepherds pie, s you know there is a delicate balance between all the stakeholder ingredients. If any is out balance, well, the dish ceases to be a Shepherd's pie. Service was quick and friendly. Got here just after dinner rush. Sat on the pub side (they have normal dining area too, good for families). Ordered the fish and chips and it arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was still piping hot. Kudos. Very tasty and thankfully had malt vinegar. Great new restaurant in Somerset. A little variety aside from the many Mexican restaurants (although I love them to). 2nd go round last night. The first was the other day Sat at the bar which I prefer and had the fish and chips. Very good! Quick service. Nice setting great vibe. Last night my wife and I ate in the dining room. She had the corned beef and cabbage. I had the shepherd pie. Very good! I ate the whole thing. So all in all, great new spot. I'll definitely be back. I need to try the Reuben. Thought we would try this for a change of pace. We arrived around 5/00 and was greeted by a nice young lady who seated us. We requested a both but were told they only tables. The interior was spacious and clean and the waitress was prompt and pleasant. I ordered a Killian Red and my companion ordered an espresso martini ( the only one they made ) . We were looking forward to having a taste of Ireland and she ordered the fish and chips, I the Shepherds Pie. We had the soft pretzels and beer cheese for an appetizer. The food came out quickly and smelled delicious, boy were we fooled! The fish and chips were so greasy and the portions of fish were small covered in batter so thick and greasy that she had to peel the batter off to try to eat the fish. My shepherds pie looks great but was a very small amount of the filling covered in a mass amount of mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes overwhelmed the flavor of the meal. I lived in England and have visited Ireland and grew up enjoying the ethnic diversity of foods. This was a very disappointing experience. The waitress was nice and the service great! But if you want a taste of authentic Irish pub food this isn't it. read more

Did a take-out order. Food was tasty. Only issue is when did it become "expected" to receive a tip for take out? Person gave me incorrect coin change & no bills. When I asked the total was told "oh I gave you the bills." No, did not. Will not do a take out order again, and actually not any food order. Too many others to choose from in this town. read more

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, my husband and I were in town to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. We were also attending the Master Musician Festival in Somerset, KY. On a side note, my goodness, what an incredible amount of talent in your county!! Anyway, we stopped by your establishment to have a beverage and we had the pleasure to meet Austin B. He was such a great ambassador to your city by offering us the right choice of drinks and steering us away from the items on the menu that didn't meet our taste profile. In addition, Austin made us feel at home away from home, which is what every tourist wants when traveling. Thank you for taking the time to employ such amazing staff. Went for Friday fish and chips. They were excellent. Service was great. The only negative was that they asked if we wanted to sit in the bar- we should have said no. It was crowded so it was really loud. But we will definitely go back (and sit on the restaurant side) for the good food! read more

Having spent time in Ireland and fallen in love with it, I was very disappointed with this "pub." Sports bar atmosphere, nothing pub-like about it. No Irish music - was assaulted with loud top 40 hip hop the whole time. Looking around, no one in there besides the staff, maybe, would enjoy listening to that junk. Fish and chips was decent. Service friendly. Will try again and revise score upward if crap "music" situation is at least amended. read more

We ate lunch at the Lucky Pint today and we all were very pleased with our experience. There was 14 of us and they made us feel very welcome. The service was good and our waitress handled the group like a pro. The only complaint I had was my meat was overcooked and was very hard to eat. It was a patty melt so it was a ground beef patty. Toughness isn't usually a problem with ground beef but this one was tough!! Otherwise, things were good. Most of the people in our group had fish and chips and they all agreed it was very good. To be such a new business it was working very efficiently. I hope everyone will give it a try and support this locally owned pub. read more

We fell upon this restaurant on our road trip! It was definitely a GREAT stop! My 9'year was fighting me for my shepherds pie... she even traded me her cheeseburger! Funny thing is that the cheeseburger was also great!! Bonus, there was even ample room for our RV and toad! read more
