I don't know why I've never written a review for them before. I've literally been doing business with them my entire life. They are as sweet and caring about their business and clients as people come. Now, to all you that love to order flowers in the middle of the night with just a few clicks, I'm sorry, but that will have to wait until daylight when the business is open because I have yet to find a website. You know what, it's okay...because they are a pleasure to speak with. They are attached to a funeral home so you know they have some fresh flowers up in there. I will say this, it's great to have someone that knows everyone in town...and the lady running this joint does. She can track anybody down to deliver flowers - even last minute. Anyway, give them a call, you won't be sorry. I just tell her my price range and colors that the person likes and she always does a beautiful job. Of course HEB is cheaper, but if you're like me and don't freakin' live there then that won't really work, now will it?! read more

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the lady at the florist and I am sorry I don't remember her name. Several weeks ago my brother passed on a satuday. We live in Lampasas and tried to get flowers ordered for his casket spray as we thought the funeral might be on the following monday only to be told if there was a funeral on monday there would be no flowers. Not wishing to give up we called Edgar Flower at 11;30 am and were told she would be driving to Austin that afternoon to pick up flowers. We drove to Burnet and placed our order so that she could see what we were looking for and were told she did not know what flowers would be available but she would do her very best to take care of us. The casket spray was beautiful and the price was very reasonable. Just one less issue to deal with in an already trying situation. Thank you does not begin to say enough. read more

I had high expectations after seeing the exceptional photos on Randi's website. As a customer who spent the average amount for US wedding flowers, I feel like an after thought. I constantly had to bug Randi to honor previously stated pricing and add line items to my order. I feel like some frustration was brought out on my order. The flower drop off was supposed to happen at 9am. The florist notified me via text 12 minutes before 9am that they were at the venue dropping off our flowers. I asked the florist to wait because we would be there at 9am. The florist responded later that they had already left. My Dad pulled up to the venue right as the florist was leaving and they did not stop. I pulled up a few minutes before 9am. It seemed like the florist dropped off bad flower boquets and knew it. I know flowers open up through out the day and that I ordered smaller boquets, but my wedding flower boquets seemed old with the exception that the floral cross arrangemnet looked great. My order felt like it was thrown together with whatever white roses were around and not carefully thought through and planned. The vibe I get is for Floral Designs by Randi to care you need to be spending big money. I really wish that people valued all of their customers because after all it's everyone's wedding day despite how much money they are spending. Additionally, I will be speaking to my venue as well to share my experience. I do not want other brides to go through this experience.

I have been driving…read moredown into Austin and Dripping Springs to find plants and trees when all along this place has been in my backyard. Very easy to find and plenty of parking. Even open on Sunday for those who are inundated during the week and can't get out except for a weekend. When I first stepped out of my car and began to walk around, it was dizzying. I felt like a kid in a candy store. So many tree varieties to choose from and I couldn't even begin to guess how many acres this place is. There are staff all over going about tending to the plants/trees but if you need help, they will go out of their way to help you. I was assisted by Adam who was extremely friendly and helpful. I simply had a question about a tree but Adam took me around in a cart giving me a tour since it was my first time here. In the end, I did end up buying a tree which they were happy to hold onto until I am ready to bring to my house. All of the staff are very friendly and Adam was especially helpful. They had trees I have been searching for online and some I thought I would have to buy from tree farms and have shipped here. And not only trees, but they have so much for bushes and shrubs and regular plants to decorate your landscaping if that is what you are looking for. Something else I really appreciated was there was no pressure. At other places, I have experienced high pressure sales, but here, they are very knowledgeable and just want to help. If you are looking to add something to your backyard or landscaping, you won't find a better nursery.

What a cool 'hidden find' in the Leander area!…read more It's a bit of a misnomer to call this a 'flea market', but that's a minor point to quibble over. Rather, this is a collection of rather eclectic shops selling mostly used or refurbished items. These range from vintage glass and antique furniture all the way to collectible baseball cards. Everyone I spoke to at one of the stores was friendly and sometimes willing to negotiate a price on an item. I look askance at some of the reviews which claim 'I didn't get a deal'. You have access to the internet, after all. Even on your smart phone. You should be able to find out if the vintage item you're looking for hasn't been cheaply reproduced at Hobby Lobby, Cost Plus or Michael's. The facility still seems to be in development, so a couple notes for folks who may visit close to when I did, in September 2017. 1) The parking lot is a very rough gravel one. Drive slowly and walk carefully, there are ankle-turning rocks here if you wear heels. 2) One of the vendors was having serious issues taking credit cards, so having cash on hand might be a good idea. 3) If you check in on Yelp, there's a free drink offer available at the food trailer. However, there's no food trailer yet - just a well-run inside snack bar. They were kind enough to honor the offer for me, but do them a favor and wait until they get a vendor in before trying to use the coupon. In sum, a definite place to visit if the antique hunting bug strikes!
