Service and sandwich were both excellent. The staff could not have been nicer. I will be returning!

Great food and service. Philly cheese, Hulk wrap, fries -- yum. And great selection of beers.

I calmly showed my registration and explained everything, but the staff didn't care at all. They treated me like a criminal and yelled at me to leave in front of other customers. This was blatant discrimination and a total violation of ADA rights. I've never been so humiliated or disrespected in my life. I used to shop here regularly, but after today, I will never step foot in DeCicco's again. I hope they get serious consequences for how they treat people with disabilities. Edit: In response to your reply -- how about you have some accountability instead of just lying. So you went and asked every employee if this occurred? Obviously not. You have no way on knowing if it didn't happen. And no I have the right store. 132 Bedford Rd, Katonah NY. That's where it happened. It's embarrassing that you would lie about that. Do better.

So when work brought me to Katonah, my first move--before coffee, before common sense--was a full sprint to Goldberg's. Let me say this: the experience was equal parts exhilarating and comforting... like running into an old friend who still makes things the way they're supposed to be made. I went for a sampler of my personal classics. The everything bagel? Phenomenal. The chew, the texture, the flavor--it transported me straight back home. The scallion cream cheese was easily one of the best I've had. If I had a complaint, it's that the bagel leaned a bit heavy on the salt. And yes, I did the unthinkable and left some of the outer layer behind. I know. I'm not proud of it. Next up: the chicken salad and coleslaw--my deli litmus tests. The chicken salad was a strong 9/10--again, just slightly salt-forward--but still excellent. The house-made coleslaw? A full 10/10. I would absolutely come back and eat a gallon of it without hesitation or shame. Now... the heartbreak. I ordered a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a hard roll. I understand this is a bagel establishment, so maybe the roll isn't the star of the show--but this one was tough, crusty, and pretty lifeless. But the real offense? What I received was not Taylor ham. Not even close. Some kind of regular ham situation was happening, and to make matters worse, the sandwich was barely filled. As you'll see in the photo--it felt borderline criminal. That said, the service? Outstanding. Truly. Everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming. They treated me like a regular even though it was my first time in, which goes a long way. All in all, I'm really glad I stopped in. It absolutely scratched that homesick itch for a real bagel and deli experience--and more importantly, it reassured me that places like this still exist. Next time, I'm sticking to the bagels... and ordering that coleslaw by the bucket. By the way, it earns three stars compared to its other New York Metro local delis... This would be a 12 star establishment in the north west corner of Connecticut

Chicken, beef, beans. All very good. Beans are not super hot and spicy. Just right. Service was quick and friendly. Plenty of tables and clean inside. There are Boylan fountain sodas, natural sugar, no nasties, so get your cherry or cream soda on, they have those too, along with the usual suspects. The salsa is fresh and not too spicy. Also, the sour cream tastes good. I am fussy about sour cream, and it seems that many places are using stuff that has an off smell and taste to me. The only sour cream I can tolerate and buy for home use is Breakstones. I don't know if that is what they use, but whatever it is, it tastes like that, clean and rich, and with no strange aftertaste. Just a detail, but if anyone else notices that all sour cream is not the same and is grossed out by the change that has happened in the last year or two, try it at Salsa Fresca.
