I've explored 4-5 of the new coffee shops in the area and this is my favorite/ the best in my opinion. I take my coffee black and usually do a V60, Chemex, or Americano. Happened to be in Ft Worth for a basketball tournament and grew tired of the hotel coffee. I ordered a black coffee and my wife ordered some kind of concoction that I don't remember. Either way, the coffee was pretty good, expensive, but good. The only thing that was a little turnoff was the small coffee. It was really, really small, and when I say small, lets just say it fit level when places in the cup holder of the car. My suggestion, get a shot of espresso, or get a larger drink. For that price anyway. We took them to go, had we been able to sit, I would have received free refills. read more

I couldn't have imagined what treasure this place would hold. They know their espresso and man, is it delicious. I had a espresso breve with a pump Of cane sugar syrup. Warm creamy nutty almost chocolatey. I haven't had such a delicious drink since experiencing it in Europe. I am indeed impressed. Check the hours of operation before you head up there. Were in the process of moving from the east coast to the west coast and I always make it a point to try local coffee when I travel. This was my absolute favorite stop this trip! It is extremely hard to find coffee at the standard I hold it to. Edge Coffeehouse is the best coffee I have had in a LONG time. Their coffee milkshakes are to die for. not to mention their excellent customer service! The atmosphere is cool and contemporary. They have live music on weekends and they are usually really talented local musicians. And I LOVE how they serve my coffe in a glass. And it is all really affordable! PS. the food is amazing, I got a grilled chicken panini white grilled onions, tomatoes, avocado, garlic parmesan spread, with cheddar and provolone cheese. It was incredible. OMG! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I am always looking for new places to try and new coffee shops, with really good espresso. . . FOUND IT! I had a triple shot, extra hot, breve Cortado! It was AMAZING! Carrie, fixed it to perfection. This place is an absolute gem and I will definitely be back this week. Prices are extremely reasonable and in addition to the wonderful espresso and food selection, they also have "Live Music Friday Nights" and "Open Mic" performances on Wednesdays. . . Very good lattes. Great micro-foam and a nice espresso bean is used. NOTE: it's very hard to find. It's between Rosas Cafe and the west side of Home Depot behind the Movie Bistro theater. Look for the yellow awning. Though the shots are tasty, ask for an extra shot. Makes it perfect for those that like the taste of espresso. They buy beans from Just Love Coffee Roasters near Nashville. The roaster has agreed to donate part of their profits to La Providencia orphanage in Honduras. read more

I think the only positive I have is the coffee was good. Which is a big plus considering they're a coffee house! Good shots. Here's why I probably won't be back though. Atmosphere-there was only one wall with windows and they had someone paint over most of them, it's incredibly dark inside and not a place I'd want to spend any amount of time, even on the sunniest of days. I understand they are limited with light for the spot they chose, but it was not a good choice to make it worse with unappealing brown paint all over the windows!!!! Also everything inside is brown. A past trend for coffee houses but outdated as of now. Price was on par with other independent coffee houses but still more than I'd like to see. Staff was friendly. Flavor was good! Only had one coffee. It's the closest place to my house but they open to late for me to go on weekends. Recommend for maybe a one off if you're just grabbing it to go. read more

I'm usually a stickler about my coffee, but I thought I'd try this place. I was out and about Lake Worth, and had heard a few things about this place so I decided to stop in. I walked in, and the place was decorated urbanely, there was a stage for what I assumed was for a band. There were also plugs on every table (what a plus!). There was someone in front of me in line so I had to wait a bit, the waitress was very friendly. I ordered a Iced Caramel Macchiato, it was very good! Creamy and had lots of caramel. Move over Starbucks, because this place has the BEST coffee in town. The vanilla bean frapp with a shot of espresso is amazing. The owner Carrie is such a sweet lady. She made my 20 month old her first milkshake, and she offered to only make half of one and only charged me for half. My toddler loved it of coarse, but the biggest hit was when she pulled out a bunch of blocks for her to play with while she drank her milkshake. I stayed in there way longer than I had planned, just because my toddler was having such a good time and I was really enjoying my conversation with the owner. This place is super hidden. It's around the corner from Leau's and the Chinese buffet. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you don't go to the effort of finding it. This is one of my favorite coffee shops. The ambiance is very peaceful, relaxed, and sort of minimalist. The staff is laid back and helpful. It's the perfect place to study, hang out with friends, or to just sit down, enjoy a drink, and relax. It's generally quiet most times of the day, unless there is a networking event or something going on, at which point it can get quite noisy, but other than that it's quite slow, which I personally like. The drinks are great and the coffee is plenty strong-- I love the variety of teas they have, which can be served hot or iced. Their cold brew is very good. Their desserts are great and their avocado bacon toast is really good. I also love how it's Christian-based, but is still a space that can be enjoyed by every type of person. Drove by for a quick cup and to do a bit of work. What I got in addition to a great cappuccino was a loud cackling table of five chastising their Clinton acquaintances and rationalizing how a questionably non-Christian president-elect has "some character flaws that his advisors will fix". When I found out these were all people from the nearby church that owns/frequents the space, I was a bit sickened that this is likely the daily tone permeating this place. I'm a Christian who doesn't identify with the Right or the Left. However I do respect other people's privacy and discretion in discussing politics in public or among strangers. Hopefully, their music/coffee/worship sessions aren't coated with the same rhetoric and judgmental sideways glances to "outsiders" that I encountered. And I understand those who are concerned with a low rating based upon the clientele, but an establishment is judged upon its character (ambiance, patrons) as much as it is upon its food and service. Imagine reading great reviews about a burger joint only to find out it's the local UT hangout, while you graduated from A&M. Or you take the family to that highly rated brunch place with the killer French toast that turns out to be the AM watering hole for the local alcoholics who shout F-bombs at the TV (true story).
