We enjoyed our time there they had 3 bands the night we went and they were all good for local talent in Texas. I like the set up with all the tables and couches around the property they're very relaxing!!! They only had one food truck so not a lot of food choices the bar was great. We ordered spicy margaritas from the there and. they were delicious. And even with all the people there that night we got serviced quickly. I will definitely go back again. It was fun. read more

Such a fun spot! Truly feels like a backyard party with friends because you will find the best mix of couples, families with babies or chasing around both toddlers and puppies. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out from picnic tankers outside to bar seating inside. It's a fun mix of bar and food spot to hangout. Just one random Sunday we found them hosting chicken shit bingo, a crawfish boil, basketball on a projector screen, and two food trucks all happening at the same time. I've been here before for goat yoga and love the variety of things to do both day to day and on rotation to keep things fun. Went on Labor Day weekend on Saturday night. Their website states that HILL CITY CHOP HOUSE is always open when we are. Not the case. We went there with the intention of eating while we were there. There was one food truck and all they had were corndogs. We paid $10 per person cover charge to get in. Had a couple of drinks and asked if we could leave to go eat and come back without paying to get in again. They told us no. We told them that we didn't want to eat corndogs for dinner but they didn't seem to care. Ridiculous. read more

Nice place, friendly staff. Plenty of room. Outside big screens are good. Only thing I'd add is there's only like 2 fire pits outdoors. So probably not a good option during the cooler weather. And that's unfortunate, outside fire pits would be a big plus. Other than that, it was a good experience. I'll go back. read more

Nice outdoor venue. Neat place with Austin western decor. We decided to check out the place on a Saturday and there was a band playing. Pretty long lines for drinks and food. There is a food truck parked in there. Burgers, fries, fried pickles...They don't serve food at warrens backyard, just drinks. read more

We had a great time at the John Conlee concert. It was cold for an outside concert but the outside heaters and fireplaces helped.

I have driven by this place several times but never came. Here for a fundraiser and very glad we came! Tons of space, lots of picnic table seating. Would be great for renting for special occasions. My friend group met up here Saturday night and it was the first time for most of us. There was a high school reunion going on inside so we stayed outside and the weather was nice and comfortable seating. Lots people brought dogs. There was live music and piped in music before the band started. The cornhole games were fun. There is a taco truck on site and I had the queso fries. The fries were excellent! The red salsa is very hot, caught me off guard and I like spicy stuff. The food was ready pretty fast gave out pagers to let you know when it's ready so you don't have to keep standing there. The only mild disappointment was the Mexican Coke wasn't very cold. Would definitely go back again. read more

Chicken $hit bingo on Wednesday night was fun for the entire family. Starts at 6pm and goes for 60-90 minutes. Our bartender was great and A/C was decent. Outside they have corn hole, a massive TV, and tons of outdoor space. Great rustic and relaxed Texas vibe and live music often. Check 'em out! read more

We had a great time listening to music and enjoying drinks. The food truck steak quesadilla was great too!

The whole family had a wonderful time, from 20 yes old to 80 yes old. We had to wait quite a while to order food, and they ran out of steaks on a Thursday evening. But - we literally did not mind. It was so beautiful outside, the drinks were great, the employees and all the guests were in a great mood and friendly. The setup was super for locals and some "new" locals like us. (Shout out to the business' neighbor Brad who kept us company and made the whole evening a lot of fun.) The food is so good, there were tons of order ahead of us and the cooks were trucking it out deliciously. Can I resist "Jesus nuggets" (i.e. fried chicken thighs) and sweet potato fries with biggie sauce (answer is no). The table bussers were on the spot. Casual place. Great line-up of beers and knowledgeable bartender. Musician was a highlight as well. read more

We absolutely loved this new venue. They have the cutest arch way in with tons of seating to listen to live music. The bar is ac so you have plenty of space in there if it's too hot. The bathrooms were very clean. They have really good food trucks out. You can even bring your dogs. read more

I attended a party for my manager at Warrens last night. My manager bought several "drink tickets" from Warrens and passed them out to all of us. Towards the end of the night, I went to the bar to get another drink with the tickets, and was asked "Are these the last tickets?"; I had presumed they were, and told the bartender yes. After returning to my group, I found two more tickets someone hadn't used, and when my drink was empty I went back to the bar to get another. Upon ordering I was told "I can't give you guys more drinks". Astonished because I wasn't drunk, I gave the bartender a puzzled look. He then told me "You guys have run up like $800 worth of drinks with these tickets. I'll make this last one, but that's it. You guys made out like bandits". Still confused I asked "My manager paid for these tickets, right? Also, just to be clear, you aren't cutting us off, we have to pay with cash or card to get drinks is all?". The bartender responded with "Yeah he paid for them. You guys can still get drinks, you just have to pay for them with cash or card". Not wanting to start a scene, and not knowing what deal was made for the tickets, I just took my drink and walked off. I tried discussing it with my manager but he wasn't in his best form. This left a really bad taste in my mouth for this venue. I honestly think they sold the tickets thinking "no way will they use all these", and were shocked when we did. I felt pretty crappy since I was the person who recommended having the party at Warrens in the first place. I strongly recommend having your parties elsewhere if you're planning to buy drinks for a group. read more
