    Tostadas and chicken fried steak

The food was amazing and the servers were so kind to let us get a table last minute on a Friday night! Truly, the best chicken fried steak I ever had. Coming from Houston I will be back to eat here.

Food was phenomenal, the ribeye was probably the best steak I've tasted in a long time. Mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious, but the serving portion was TINY. Not enough of the yummy gravy on the chicken. Delicious tiny little biscuits were brought out to start. Very slow service, like some of the slowest I've ever had. Supposedly our waitress was also working kitchen at the same time (?). Not sure why they'd do that to her. Sat for almost two hours and had to beg for the checks. Only had one refill in those two hours... probably because she was working in the kitchen.. only reason I'm still giving 4 stars is because the food was delicious. Wouldn't recommend if you have somewhere to be for the rest of the day. Buuuuut, bravo for some DELICIOUS Texas food!

This is a gem but let everyone know! I'd like to keep it to myself but know it is just a matter of time that others find this Fort Worth gem. Outside they are planning for the shooting of Yellowstone (Y:1883). Dinner is on Friday and Saturday and only $12 a head. This is an absolute STEAL!!!!! Bring your own hard liquor and they will give you a set up. Great locally owned establishment that I want to drive y'all to check out. Below is the food in the night we stopped by. 7-8pm is their dinner seating only on Friday and Saturday.

We both got soooo full and still had leftovers. He had the steak tacos and I had the double smash burger with peppers and aioli sauce. The food came out really fast and was great! We ordered nachos as an appetizer to split, along with two beers and a kids meal. What arrived was Motley Crue waking from a drug binge, raiding the pantry and trash, then declaring "let's do it." What was supposed to be nachos was anything but. The only explanation is someone who had never seen nachos tried to recreate them after hearing a rumor from someone at a Lowe's parking lot. The "chips" were not tortilla chips. They were rectangular strips of pale, flimsy material that looked like scraps of drywall film pulled out of a new construction site. An albino drywall experiment that somehow escaped the kitchen and landed on a plate. The entire thing was covered in barbecue sauce, with some mystery white liquid poured over the top. We assume it was supposed to be queso, but it definitely was not queso. Calling it queso feels disrespectful to actual queso. We ate maybe a quarter of it and decided we needed to leave before things got worse. Six hours later, we received an unannounced encore performance in the bathroom. I would avoid this place like a plague outbreak--unless you have an upcoming colonoscopy and want to skip the bowel prep.

We opted to go for straight up meat and potatoes. Let me tell you the Wagyu ribeye Tomahawk was the bomb the meat melted in your mouth and they also give you tons of their potatoes and all the sauces that you can try. I personally had a bone out ribeye and I opted for the garlic Demi glaze. You have to get the Demi glaze. It's simply amazing. I could probably drink the whole freaking thing. Every person at our table was trying to steal my demiglaze. The meat was simply the most tender juicy thing I've ever had. I don't think they need to give me even a steak knife to cut this. It was flavorful tender, and the best cooked steak I've ever had. We will be back after I get out of my meat coma.

First, major credit to Avery and Nancy, who were incredibly kind and patient considering we arrived fairly close to the end of lunch service before the restaurant closed for its afternoon break. We never felt rushed, which I really appreciated. I started lunch by ordering another cocktail (which may or may not have had me buzzing a little by this point) along with the 12 oz. prime rib steak served with buttery herb mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and chimichurri sauce. I'll admit, the steak was thinner than I expected for Texas (I sort of anticipated a Flintstones-sized slab of beef) but honestly? It was fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked perfectly! The mashed potatoes were rich and even the vegetables were great! My dining companions ordered a bit lighter fare, I believe a salad and grilled cheese, but I was far too focused on my steak situation to pay close attention. I left absolutely stuffed and very, very, very happy about it. The atmosphere here is upscale without feeling pretentious. Between the Western inspired decor and the relaxed energy of the Stockyards area, it feels welcoming. Also worth noting: apparently bachelorette parties featuring men in cow-print overalls are welcome here too, so truly something for everyone. Great service, great food, and a really enjoyable dining experience overall. I'd happily come back the next time I find myself in Fort Worth!

This burger was one of the best I've ever had. And I've had Margie's in Bryan and this one is right there. Juicy patty, grilled onions, melting cheese, a little salt n pepper. Oh so good. We had a weekday off and decided to make an effort to show up. We werent disappointed! We didnt want to go into a food coma, so we ordered an indian taco to share and some tater tots. It took maybe 7 minutes for our order, which was not bad at all with them frying up the frybread on order. To our surprise, the owner decided that the one frybread we were initially having was too small, so we got two "medium" frybreads with all the fixings. The owner is super nice and didnt have to do that! The frybread itself is the best Ive had at a restaurant in DFW. Its soft, while crispy and substantial in its doughiness. The fixings are not fancy, but they are executed well in every aspect. I like that they offer green chili sauce in addition to all the typical taco fixings. The tater tots were super crispy and were exactly what I wanted in tater tots. While the seating here is in a covered outdoor shack, they do have air conditioning. The day we visited was a pleasant 70 degrees, so there was no need for the AC to run. But I also mention this in case you come in August. I imagine the AC unit does a good job, but its not a typical interior setup.

The operational execution is tight, and the staff is fantastic, but the real draw is the menu--simply a carnivorous delight of high-quality steaks and wild game specialties. We kicked off the night with a trio of phenomenal starters: the wild boar ribs tossed in their signature BBQ sauce, the elk sliders layered with sweet blueberry jam, and the rabbit-rattlesnake sausage served over a crispy manchego rosti with crème fraîche. While every bite was great, that sausage was an absolute standout flavor combination. Next up was a bowl of traditional Texas Red. As a major bean lover, I know a purist chili can be a gamble, but I had zero complaints here. The delivery was excellent, deeply flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. For the main event, the roasted garlic stuffed beef tenderloin was executed flawlessly, accompanied by a heavy-hitting lineup of sides: rich truffle-infused mac & cheese, crispy Brussels sprouts tossed in a savory bacon vinaigrette with black garlic, and perfectly sautéed Texas wild mushrooms. We tied the entire evening together with several LALO Ranch Waters, kicked up with a sharp, salted Tajín rim. It was a spectacular meal from start to finish. Food was delivered and as we were eating a cockroach meandered down the wall right by my seat. We didn't hit it quick enough and he skimmered away. I couldn't stay with not knowing where he went and the possibility of him crawling on my feet. I left my food and went and stood by the front door, my husband let our server know, who responded with it's difficult to control them right near the kitchen. Ummm!! That made it worse thinking about lots of cockroaches in the kitchen. A manager came over and offered him dessert. Ummm, you just told us the kitchen is full of them and you would like us to eat more food from there?!? We politely paid the bill and left. My husband's elk was decent, nothing to write home about, but a decent meal nonetheless. Also wanted to mention the weird attempt to upsell by the waitress, she asked if we were celebrating anything special. I said our 30th anniversary and she said we have a special menu for that and handed us the small specials menu that had already been given to us by the hostess. No other mention of our special night or even a "Happy Anniversary."
