The interior and exterior are very spacious and lively with their decorations. It's a great spot to work, read, study, meetings, gatherings etc. The times I've had their drinks they have been a hit. I went with my friends and our kiddos a few months ago, and I had their Coquito, and it was so good, that I had to get two. It was the perfect combination of espresso and all their spices. My friends also enjoyed their drinks. 5/5 all around. I also ordered a concha, and it was good and fluffy. It didn't taste stale, it was soft and delicious. My little one enjoyed their concha too. Our little ones played outside, and the owner closed the door that connects to another door that leads to the street. I didn't know we were allowed to close it, but I'm thankful he closed it. He was also welcoming and kind. They have some toy cars outside for the little ones to use as well as some toys and books inside. This is definitely a kid-friendly coffee shop with a changing table and toys for your little ones. May 8,2026, was the most recent time we've stopped by. I had a Matcha-Colada and their Mazapán latte. Their matcha-colada was refreshing and good. Their Mazapán latte was so delicious, creamy, and I was able to taste the nuttiness and the bits of Mazapán. I'm definitely a fan, yummy. 5/5. I was looking for a traditional cup of cafe de olla and I found the spot! Casa Azul is an adorable coffee shop with so much character as soon as you pull in. The outdoor patio is shaded and spacious. They had little toys out for young kids to play. I was looking forward to the conchas but they were sold out by the time I arrived (11:15am ish). If you're looking for coffee on the go, I'd recommend calling ahead. Though, they do have a drive- thru, maybe service would be quicker. Otherwise, go inside and enjoy the ambiance and one another. I've ordered Mazapan lattes in multiple places and I usually know what to expect but this one was a real letdown. There was no mazapan in there and didn't taste like it at all. This is my first time checking out cute cafe, and they were very patient to explain the menu. I liked my drink (Mexican mocha), there was a chocolaty flavor without it being too sweet! My sister go the sweet potato drink (special) -- the sweet potato mash/syrup wasn't strong and she realized it had all settled to the bottom, so mix your drink! Parking there is a small lot, but also street parking. Be aware that they do lock the gates to the parking lot at closing time! As a first time customer I was not really welcomed with good energy and that's one thing that a barista should have with customers wanting coffee..when I asked what coffee was good all I got was "all of them are good" in a monotone annoyed voice.
