I've wanted to visit the Edge for a while now. I finally decided to pay the $36 + tax (current adult general tickets are $38 and there is a $2 NY Resident Discount) and go up earlier this week on a 60-degree day. You can buy your tickets in advance online and reserve a time to go up. (Time reservation is necessary since there is limited space upstairs and the popular photography spots can get very crowded, very quickly) The entrance to the edge is located on the 4th floor of the Hudson Yards Mall (The Shops). There are a few quick-snack shops in the mall which is convenient to grab either before or after your visit up. (Coffee, Magnolia Bakery) Once you get to the entrance, you have your pre-purchased ticket scanned. (I believe you can also purchase tickets on-site as long as there are available time slots) You then proceed to the security area where you go through a metal detector and have your bags checked. Bags up to a standard-sized backpack are allowed up, nothing bigger. be sure to look at their list of prohibited items on their website before visiting. Afterward you make your way to the photo area (optional) which you can purchase later on the way out. You then walk through a small museum-like series of hallways which has a few interesting facts along with some graphics to show how environment-friendly the Hudson Yards community is. Next, you proceed to the elevator to go up to the top. The elevator ride up has screens on all sides and shows some graphics. Once you reach the top, you are free to explore. There is both outdoor and indoor sections of the observatory. The indoor sections contains one gift shop as well as two bars/snack shops. You can purchase beer, wine, and snacks there. The outdoor area is the main attraction though. It offers amazing southeast views including the Freedom Tower, Downtown Manhattan, the Empire State Building and Summit One. The most coveted locations though are the corners. There are three with the southeast being the most popular. Throughout my visit from 5:30 pm through 7:20 pm on a Monday night (during sunset) there were lines to take photos on all three corners the entire time! As you can imagine, there are those who snap a quick photo and move along while others are there taking lots of photos. So be prepared to wait if you want one (or all) of those photos. There is also the small glass floor area where lots of people are practically sprawled on the floor to get a birds eye view of them and the stree floor, hundreds of feet below. Photographers, keep in mind that you are surrounded by glass at all times (indoor and outdoor) so reflections are inevitable. You'll have to do some editing in post to get rid of those reflections. Also I found that a lot of the glass had fingerprints/smears on it, likly due to people touching/rubbing up against it all day while taking photos. Why only four stars? Well I was a bit disappointed in the "experience". I recently visit the renovated Empire State Building which offers an entire floor of museum-style exhibits and much bigger (and complete 360) outdoor views. From the time you enter to the time you return, there are exhibits all around...and for the same price as the Edge. The Edge definitely lacked that and prides itself solely on the those three corner views. I felt that the Edge would benefit social media-type who want to add "that" photo to their resume. It's definitely not for everyone. I do NOT think it is worth it for children...not much to see and definitely not much to learn for the price. I think about $25 s a much more reasonable price, given the experience offered. Overall I had a good time. I'm glad I got to check it off my to-do list...but I wouldn't go again. I would suggest others (especially those with kids) to research the other observation decks: Empire State Building, Top of the Rock, Freedom Tower and Summit One, to see what they offer before deciding which one(s) to visit. There are clean gender-neutral bathrooms available. The larger gift shop is on the way out. read more

I visited New York City with a friend over the weekend, and we decided to visit the Edge at Hudson Yards. I have done the Top of the Rock before and loved it, but thought we would try another observation deck to see a different view. It was a very nice experience. They had informative and fun presentations about Hudson Yards and how it is a sustainable new community in Manhattan. We really liked learning about this aspect. The day we went was sunny but windy and very chilly. The view included the river, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Central Park, and more. It's all open air, but there are glass walls all around for safety. The view really reminds you that NYC is a concrete jungle. They also had an area with stadium seating, which was nice to just sit and look out at the skyline. The line to leave did take a quite a while. So consider that when making plans! read more

Our stop by the Edge was brief as we were really there for me to do City Climb. However, the experience was nice enough, although with less of the gravitas that comes with the observation deck at the Empire State Building. It can also get crowded with so many people trying to capture a photo of the glass floor that is only large enough to fit 2 people at a time. If you have been to the other observation decks, you will probably be somewhat disappointed like I was. I'd already been to the Empire State, Top of the Rock, One World, and Vanderbilt One in New York City. The Edge is not bad at all, but relatively basic. As you enter the hallway to go up, you will see some images that discuss the construction of the building. Once you get to the top, you will end up on a relatively basic floor with windows and views of the city. Then, you will climb up a set of the stairs where you will see the triangular terrace known as the Edge. The coolest part of the Edge is the small section of glass floor where you can look down to the street level. However, Vanderbilt One also offers a glass floor as well as several more architecturally impressive floors. I would recommend Vanderbilt One a lot more than this one. read more

I thought The Edge was a fantastic experience. Well worth the ticket price, even if you end up buying them at the door. The entrance is on the 4th floor, like previously mentioned. I thought there was going to be a long line because while we waited for our allotted time, we saw many a group walk in. Fortunately, there was no line but I kind of wish there was. You have to follow the line stanchions no matter what. I wanted to just hop over them but the employees were very serious that you must walk the line. If we had to wait in line, I would have noticed the cool ceiling much sooner as well. There were a lot of fun places to take pics and learn about how Hudson Yards is trying to stay green. Very informative and interesting. The elevator going up was cool (the "other" place) has a way better elevator show. I will say the elevator movie was much cooler going down than up. The views inside and out are amazing. Just breathtaking and exactly what I wanted to show my bf of NYC. I loved the "Instagrammable" moments they've created in here and I really love that there's a bar with interesting cocktails. The stadium seating was a nice place to relax with a drink and take in all the silly picture takers. It was busy up there but I never felt crowded and we were able to do all the corners and the clear floor. I don't know if it was just the group of people around us but there was actual respect for space here and I appreciated that. I didn't make reservations to the restaurant because I couldn't trust the access to The Edge (hello, anxiety!) I couldn't find anyone online to help, so if that's what you're after, here's some info. There's a special elevator to take you up to the restaurant. It lets you out in front of the restaurant but it's also in the same open two story room that the elevators for The Edge let you out, so you'll just have to walk down a flight of stairs to access the outside area (If you can't take stairs, there is an elevator.) Expert tip, if the line is too long to leave (which it can be, but it moves fast), you can walk up the stairs and wait in the line for the restaurants elevator down. read more

Want to feel on top of the world? Head straight to The Edge at NYC! Climb 100 floors, walk to the Edge and you are looking 1000 feet below at the tiny vehicles pass by. Heck, you are even looking across at the WTC1 and down at the Empire State Building. We booked for our spot online and headed to the Hudson Yards. The check in process was smooth and has information on the building's history written on a lot of walls. Please make sure you carry your vaccination proof (hard/soft copy). Plan to visit in the evening hours so that you can enjoy the fantastic view in clear daylight, watch the sunset and the legendary NYC lights. Sitting on top of a section of glass floor was just terrific feeling. We just didn't time the time of the year as we visited this in a freezing February evening. You're in Manhattan and you don't want to be cliché and go to the Empire State Building because it's too crowded and it's too expensive. Well, The Edge just may be the next best alternative for you if you're willing to head down to The Hudson Yard. For starters, you'll need tickets and they are not cheap if you buy them separately. In fact, if you purchase one of those NY tour passes that lets you see a bunch of other attractions, then I'd say that The Edge is definitely worth visiting as the tickets are $45+. You'll need reservations for whatever time you'd like and of course the sunrise and sunset views are going to be more expensive, so plan carefully. The great way to bypass this is to know exactly when the sunset is and then booking a little bit earlier than that. I know that they are supposed to be ushering people out based on reservation time but I don't think they strongly monitor that so it would be worth it if you timed it right. The viewing deck is... nice... and not worth the $45 I paid if I'm being completely honest. But the view is gorgeous and you are certainly really, really, REALLY high up so you better not be afraid of heights. (27/100--2022) read more

I can't really say I have (m)any complaints; the champagne bar adds a delightfully brunchy twist on mid-day Sunday! (We didn't partake, we had kids with us, and the tickets were relatively pricey enough! Even still, alcohol may possibly make this a terrifying experience - lol!) Our own failure story (hiccup) was really our own doing. We bought tickets at approximately 5PM on a Saturday for a nighttime visit just before closing. Well, unexpected train issues caused us to be [literally] running up to the entrance to be greeted with palms of hands and stern voices stating "no more entries for the evening". Out of breath and sweaty, all 7 of us sauntered away, deflated. We rescheduled for mid-day the following day and was pleasantly satisfied at the daytime experience. Lots of room to move about, lots of open-air space, steps to sit on, a few scattered benches indoors in a large open area (I assume you can rent the indoor space), and of course, an overpriced gift and novelty shop. Plenty of breathtaking views on a sunny/partly cloudy day in November. You can see "Billionaire's Row" up against Central Park (always a 'sweet' (controversial) yet fascinating topic when in the City). If you're daring enough, you can spend a bit more to get the Edge experience, which involves going up even further, harnessing up and dangling above the crowd below on the lower platform. Out of all the odd fears I have, heights, one of the most common, isn't one of them. In hindsight, I wish I'd done City Climb at the Edge (where you scale the outside of the structure) rather than the $40 observation deck visit. The long wait to ride on a packed elevator made the Edge seem more crowded than it really was the day I went. What awaits at the top are 360-degree views of the city, Jersey (of course, I'm biased to think that's extra cool), & the Hudson River. Step up to the angled glass or stand on the glass floor which look 100 floors down to feel that extra little flip flop in your stomach; just be prepared to wait some more for your turn/photo op. When I visited in late January, there was an ice skating rink set up (indoors.) Skating in the sky -- I'd say that's one of the more unique activities in a city where something extraordinary is happening around every corner. I was lucky enough to come visit the Edge as a birthday gift from a friend and it was lovely! He got the champagne package for us where you can get a glass of champagne at the top of the deck and have access to a separate section (indoors) where it was less crowded. It was definitely worth it to get better photos. Before you get up to the deck, you go through an immersive installation of how they built the building while you go up the elevator. It was pretty sick! The view is obviously incredible and breathtaking. Even though I've lived in NY all my life, you don't get to look at that specific view everyday. Other than that, there wasn't a ton to do which is expected but compared to the SUMMIT experience, I felt like there could've been more activities/things to look at. read more

If you're visiting Edge, make reservations for Peak instead and get a drink and an appetizer, as reservations for Peak come with complimentary access to Edge. If you're going to go up, you might as well get a drink, an appetizer and admission rather than admission alone. You may be familiar with Edge from seeing it as the location in the JLo & Maluma music video "Pa Ti." I found it funny that they both dance on the observation deck but never actually get on the glass floor piece. I too was nervous, but I did sit on the glass floor when I visited. I went on 2/16/2022 - it's winter so while there were still a fair number of people, it wasn't jam packed and we were still able to get photos that didn't have other people in them while on the glass floor. The view is spectacular and there is also a bar here and gift shop. The elevator ride up was very cool as it's all screens and plays a little video of the skyline. Recommend going during sunset! It was very windy for March early evening. I enjoyed the area which you can walk on plexiglass and see down. Views were beautiful during sunset but there was large crowds since I think this as become a popular location on social media. There is a bar/ restaurant which I would think is a good idea for the views. And if you are feeling adventurous you can do the city climb add on. Scale outside the skyscraper more than 1,200 feet above the ground, then lean out and look down. We considered doing it but since it was very windy and cold we opted out, but maybe next time. read more

Manhattan's not wasting any time in drawing crowds back with pandemic restrictions loosening, and a surefire way to seize that opportunity is to build an observation deck and charge the proverbial arm & leg for it. After all, Jamie W. and I paid $40 each to go to the Top of the Rock just the night before, so it was a relative bargain at $36 to go to the Edge, right? Well, 30 Hudson Yards doesn't have the history or showbiz cachet of 30 Rock. Or 30 Rock's central location for that matter. The Edge does have a height advantage since it's 100 floors up - though it's not as tall as the One World Trade Center. It appears to be mimicking Toronto's CN Tower because there's a section of the floor that's see-through so you can see where you land if you fall through. There's also an outside wall climbing feature if you are the alpha type who needs to show off for your acrophobic friends. The outdoor deck has several sharp angles that provide unique photo opps - though people absurdly queue up for what they perceive to be premium selfie spots. The views were spectacular no matter where you stand, and you can see the Statue of Liberty as well as the Empire State Building and One World. I enjoy tourists attractions...especially in NYC! It's an opportunity to meet people from near and far... Located inside Hudson Yards, you'll take the elevator to the 100th floor. The views are out of this world! Born and raised in NY, but seeing the big Apple overlooking an "edge " is pretty darn remarkable. RSVP a time slot and go early before the crowd. I went at 11:15am on a weekday, there was plenty of room to move around comfortably. There's also a bar inside priced reasonably considering the location. It was pretty crowded, but I really think it's one of the more fun tourist attractions to visit while in NY. It's a long walk to the Edge :) An interactive one too. Once you fight the holiday mall crowd, pass the covid vaccine check, navigate through the security metal detectors/bag check, walk down the interactive winding hallway, and take the super crowded elevator to the Edge you will see an awesome view. It's really high! There are lines to take photos in the corners of the patio areas. I guess it's a highly sought after photo shot? Everyone is there taking pictures of themselves and selfies. I kind of wonder what this would've been like in the late 90ies? So the window areas can be crowded by those trying to land a skyline backdrop but the view is immaculate so it cannot be diluted by the digital frenzy. No additional bells or whistles for the general admission. You are basically taking a ride to the top of a building to gaze at the skyline. There looks to be a rental party space here too. I think lots of wedding proposals happen here as well. Pro tip - take a few photos...then...then just enjoy the scenery for what it is. read more

The Edge was included with the ticket for The Great British Tea Party. After eating, drinking tea, and being merry in a most British way, we stepped outside and down a flight of stairs to the 100th floor. We took in all of NYC. The 5 boroughs, Long Island and Jersey. It's truly spectacular, being high enough to see the curve of the planet. What started out as a gloomy, rainy day, became a partly cloudy day with plenty of sun breaking through. Very Dramatic! There's a glass triangle cutout to test your mettle by walking over it, but I'm not there yet. My ability to overcome the fear of potentially falling 100 stories, hasn't quite hit the point of Knowing I'm realistically not going to die. My feet simply can't do what my head knows is perfectly safe. Or is it? I saw a morning rave party on Instagram up here a while back. Looked like hundreds of people bouncing with abandon on this triangular platform. Hmmm. But....They didn't die. There were also some crazy people even higher up, dangling from the tippy top of the building. It's an extra $200, and it's called City Climb, but I'm good. No interest. Sitting on the edge of that glass triangle was challenging enough. Photos taken, adrenaline rush subsided, we went into the gift shop. Looked at all the creative souvenirs, had a drink at the bar, and left feeling quite content. What a great value that combo Tea/Edge was!! read more

Where to start what a great place to add into your visit. I was visiting a friend and she decided this would be a nice place to go. I must say the views are great. I do recommend booking your reservation in advance. We booked ours for 11:30 and maybe waited 30 mins before getting to the experience. Beware with the photo book option though. As an annual season pass holder for the edge, I would recommend paying for this if you are going to go more than once in the year. Overall, the experience is worth seeing at least once to get great views of the city, probably better than top of the rock plus more space at the top! Peep the pics on my post for daytime vs nighttime views, it is pretty spectacular! Depending on when you're going up, time to get up can vary from 10 mins to over an hour, so this is where most of my stars were deducted. First time we came, we were up in 10 mins (barely had time to look at the exhibits on the way up) but the way down had about a half hour wait. We went back on Mother's Day and my family was not about the wait (over an hour to get up and we missed sunset), and about half hour wait on the way down so we really saw too much of the exhibits this time (careful what you wish for) Overall, worth it at least once on off peak times, wouldn't bother with peak times or holidays! read more

Probably the best observation deck in NYC. Not crowded but with amazing skyline views.

Having never been to the top of the Empire State Building, I felt a bit guilty in skipping the traditional and doing the new it thing. Kinda scoffed at having to pay ~$50 (with taxes/fees) for this experience but then once I was up there, it all felt worth the expense. Especially for making me feel super alive when walking across the glass panels. I seriously hyperventilated but forced myself to stare down into the void when I walked. I felt reborn. But seriously, I didn't plan this and if I had to do this again, I'd pick to come during sunset. Lines were not long at all on a Monday and took just about 15min to queue and get up to the observation deck. Not cheap but didn't disappoint either. Lots of bathrooms up there. We got tickets in advance to go up here during the week pretty early in the morning at 11am. We opted for the champagne package which was a nice touch! Maybe a little too early for drinking though ahah...we all felt it up there but it made the experience more memorable LOL!. The views were amazing and on a clear day you could see all the way down to the financial district. I recommend not touching the glass and looking below if you are afraid of heights hahah. The moment you step out of the elevator you see so much and this is clearly a beautiful laid out space. There was a line for one of the "corners" to take a picture in which was pretty annoying but you have to get creative and find the other corner and take a picture from the inside (no line here!) and it worked out fine. Others were laying on the glass floor for more ariel shots which looked cool as well. I loved the open deck experience, you could feel the sun and wind while enjoying the amazing NYC skyline....different than visiting the one world observatory which opened before this one and is all indoors. I really enjoyed my time here and recommend coming during the week early to avoid the crowds. It seemed manageable the time we went but I can see this being packed on the weekends even with timed entry tickets. I've done almost all of them (except for the Rockefeller experience), this is probably one of the better ones...but I've seen so much that I'm impartial to the view/experience now. I went on a Saturday evening, definitely crowded. Online it showed that all the time slots were unavailable but I like how you could still buy tickets on site. (I'm not sure if this is always the case, but it happened to be so for the party of 2 I was with.) I also like how there was no time limit, so even if you went at 5, you could very well stay until sunset time and leave whenever. There were also a lot of photo ops which I really enjoyed! There's the open floor looking down area, the different "edge" shots, and an indoor one as well. Overall, yes it's "expensive", but it's to be expected & you can definitely make the most out of your money here compared to other similar spots. read more

The Edge rooftop views were 5 STARS ! The overall process to get up to the roof, 2 STARS. The rest well....let me explain. I booked a couple of tickets online through their website which was easy. Once we arrived, you have to actually go into the Hudson Yards mall (very beautiful too) and then at the 4th floor, you can go inside and check in with the Edge attendants. Scanned in at 5 pm. Breaking News ! Worst time ever to visit the Edge especially on a Saturday. There was a big crowd waiting in line to get inside the elevators. The bigger problem they have is that there are only two small elevators. Yes only 2. Seriously! You created this beautiful building rooftop and architects created only 2 elevators? Three elevators would've been much quicker. Well I guess it's too late for that plan right. The line was moving very very slow. We waited approximately 1.5 hours on line before getting to the roof even with prepaid tickets. Pretty ridiculous. Also, be aware that there were a lot of people crowded together in the small enclosed hallways leading toward entering the elevators. Once on the roof, it was very crowded with people standing on long lines just to take a photo at one or two of the areas of the rooftop which showed the city below. Luckily we managed to take a few photos at different areas but still had to literally wait for people to move out of the way. The glass barriers was littered with people stuck to the glass and some areas of the transparent floors. Some people remained on the floor even though they had finished taking their photos. I had to tell them to please move over; staff should've organizing this. I just have a couple of suggestions; have the staff that's standing around bring some level of organization. Maybe have rope lines for areas that are more crowded and have people move along once they have captured their photos. Move the line quicker so that other visitors have a chance to take photos. Yes we recommend visiting the Edge however DO NOT visit during peak hours. Visit either early in the morning or late at night. Again a bit disappointed with the process to get inside but the sights were stunning. read more

Fantastic views of NYC. When you arrive you will be wowed by Hudson yards! There is a massive sculpture there, and plenty of food trucks. This is all attached to an indoor mall, where you will go up to the Edge. The view is amazing. Beware there will be copious amounts of Instagramers taking 400 selfies with the most ridiculous poses you have ever seen, and they will try to push you out of the way so you can't get a photo. Just stand firm and get your photo too. LOL. But seriously... there are a lot of them... and it is some crazy fun people watching. Between the Edge, Hudson Yards, the mall, food trucks, the big screen showing movies in the yard, and whatever other special event they are hosting that day.... You can spend all day here. But you need to get here early to beat the lines!!!! Get to the Edge before 12, or you will be waiting all day in line. read more

So I have a love for rooftop spots, in many destinations in and out of NYC...and I have been to many in NYC but The Edge...it really takes it up several notches. This new outdoor observatory is one of a kind in the way its designed and the service they provide. Went here last month as a graduation gift to myself, as I have been hearing high praise for The Edge since its recent opening and the pics I have seen via social media. It EXCEEDED ALL of those expectations and then some. Even before getting to the observatory, you get sort of a light show of NYC and little information tidbits of the skyscraper located in Hudson Yards. Once you walk off the elevator, its like you have stepped into a different dimension as you're seeing the spectacle of this observatory itself even before looking on the outlook of NYC and beyond. The floor design is different than any other observatory you've been to in NYC. I can't fully explain it in words but believe me you will see for yourself when you're there. And I recommend getting the premium ticket where it comes with a complimentary glass of champagne. You'll feel a bit more bougie but it's worth the experience. You can also purchase additional adult beverages at their bar inside along with some snacks. Typical NYC premium price but again, for the overall experience it's worth it. I also recommend taking someone with you or going as a small group as you're going to want to take a countless amount of pictures as they have a decent amount of space on the observatory (but can get crowded depending on the time of day) and outlook overall is phenomenal and that is putting it lightly. I took several pics here and despite going by myself, there were plenty of cool guests here that were willing to take some pics of me that everything came out amazing it. Listen, if you are a native NY'er, just moved here, or are visiting from out of town, you have to make The Edge a go to spot to see how amazing this place is. Even with this review, its mere words compared to what the experience and outlook is. Just a few recommendations though: 1: Try to make sure you go on a nice clear day: Even if you do go on maybe a not so nice day you can still see far out into the city and beyond but you'll appreciate it more on a nice, sunny day out. 2: Go with at least one other person: Even though I went by myself I think I would of had even more of a great time had I gone with someone cause I think for this experience specifically, you're gonna wanna enjoy with someone of who's company you really enjoy. 3: Make your reservations early: If you're looking to book and go the same day I doubt you'll get to because bookings go really fast here and they still wanna be fairly safe just coming out of COVID. Also, when you do book, they're gonna give you a specific time to book (ex. 4:30pm - 5:30pm). I think they originally designed it like that for COVID restrictions to keep social distancing in place. When I booked and went though was for 3:30pm - 4:30pm, however I didn't get there till about 4pm but thankfully they weren't strict nor checked people for how long they had been there and I ended up staying till about 8:30pm that day so I was thankful to catch the sunsetting while there which is what I initially wanted in the first place (even with the 6-7pm bookings had already been sold out.) But do keep in mind that they want you to book within specific hours so be aware of that. But definitely go, especially during the summer and early fall months where you can catch the amazing skyline of NYC and beyond. It truly is an experience unlike any other. read more

The Edge at 30 Hudson Yards has to be the most "exciting" observation deck in New York City. It's got a cantilevered outdoor area with a glass floor. You can't experience that at One WTC, Top of the Rock, or the Empire State Building. We lucked out going on a day that was not very crowded (according to one of the employees). We had no issues taking photos in areas without other guests, including the glass floor. I imagine that if you went on a crowded weekend in the summer it would be pretty miserable, especially for how pricey it is. For two adults and one child we paid about $115. Luckily our youngest child was 5 so he was free. If he was a year older we'd have had to pay $150. We spent about an hour at The Edge. My best observation deck experience was a Yelp Elite Tour of the Empire State Building that included the closed-to-the-public 102nd floor roof. So unless you can get access to the 102 floor roof of the ESB, the Edge is your next best thing. read more

Who doesn't want to look at the NY skyline? It is a very eye opening experience even if you just do it once. It's helpful to purchase tickets online I think they are around $30 each. They do a really good job shepherding people in given the amount of people that are there. Once up there it's just beautiful. They have a bar and food you can park take in if you would like. They also have a pretty expansive gift shop. Definitely recommend if you want to experience the city in a totally different way. Oh. The tickets are a little more expensive If you want to see the sunset views. read more

This place is magnificent! A must see in person kinda place. From the outside view to the inside interior, ugh just amazing!! The building is huge, has a mall inside and of course The Edge. When you first arrive i suggest going in from the Vessel side. Theirs a door that says The Edge on it and you'll have to take the vip elevator to take you straight up there. Once you're up there a big sign that says The Edge is right in front. You would then have to walk and wait on line ( if theirs a line) also, have your tickets out and ready so the line can move faster. They have additional add ons like champagne drinks and a photobook for your experience. Once you make your way in- their will be another line waiting for you ( have your tickets ready, yes again & last time I promise) then, you will go through metal detectors ( so don't bring no sharp objects & i believe they don't let you in with any food or drinks, as well). Making your way past all of that you'll feel like you're in another world ( literally) but, is like a mini museum. Once you get through the museum their might be another line waiting for you ( i knowwwww so many lineeess, dont worry we said the same thing, but i promise is worth it). After the line, you will then go up on an elevator that goes up in 15seconds to the 100th floor. Inside the elevator they have this 3d reality virtual screen that MAN let me tell you guys, it was spectacular and you dont even feel it going up. Finally, we are up on the 100th floor!!! When you get out the elevator you'll be at the Grand Entrance to THE EDGE. Well, not quite ( sorry, not sorry heheh ). You have a bar to the right and dont panic lol but you'll see another crazy line but that's to come back down, just go around them. You can visit the bar, buy merchandise, & enjoy the view. To the left, they have these stairs that take you ( idk where ) didn't go up, but around the corner of this wall theirs a hidden picture worthy gem. You'll keep walking and ask yourself but where's THE EDGE? Theirs swinging doors that you have to go through to get to the outside part. That's where the magic all happens. The 360 view of NYC ! Everyone loves taking pictures in the Birds Eye View so it might be a little crowded and people are A**h*le and would be rude jumping in your picture ( so go at a decent time ). Overall, the experience was amazing and something worth doing in your City ( if you're from here ) or if your coming to tour the City. I recommend dressing your best because you're going to wanna take alot of pictures up there, It was super windy the day i went and i wore ( let me just say) THE WRONG DRESS, the wind kept making it go up. ‍ But, the view is immaculate.
