However, the shop performed and charged for two oil changes within an interval of approximately 5,000 miles. I was not informed that the second oil change was unnecessary based on the manufacturer's recommendations, nor was I given a technical explanation justifying an early oil change. At no point was I advised that the service was redundant or optional. Had I been properly informed, I would not have authorized the second oil change. I attempted to contact the shop by phone and left a voicemail requesting clarification, but I did not receive a response. I believe this reflects a lack of transparency and failure to obtain informed consent for an unnecessary service. If you can't trust this shop with an oil change, image any other service.

There was also no pressure to upsell me anything, and I left later that day with a fully functioning tire. Costco Tire Center offers a wide range of popular tire brands at a competitive price point. They don't keep a lot of inventory on hand if you need to replace your tires--it's better to call ahead and pre-order. The technicians recommended that we replace a part as it was leaking fluid all over the engine, for a cost of over $1400. They also suggested various other repairs. When we got back home there was definitely oil dripping from the car. After four days we decided to get a second opinion from our dealer. They said the recent oil change was not done properly with the filter not being inserted correctly and there was a lot of oil spill everywhere. They cleaned up all the oil and checked everything and advised us that the car was in perfect condition and not leaking any fluids. Will not go back to this Firestone location anymore.
