Leslie was so friendly and helpful, and the care she puts into making her guests comfortable is unparalleled. She left literature specific to our needs and interests on the bed, made a beautiful breakfast (pictured, but also included bacon and muffins), and recommended future places to visit the next time we are in Upstate New York. We also took advantage of the picnic lunch for our day at Seneca Falls - we left with full bellies and fond memories of our stay. We can't recommend Besemer Station enough!

I did a considerable amount of work on this property for the owner who I thought was a friend only…read moreto find out that she and her friend manipulated and ultimately cheated me out of thousands of dollars. last year her water tested off the charts for coloform and other impurities which cause health problems and I was asked to fix the problem which I did ultimately only to find out she never notified the health department and stayed open. I find this to be dishonest and manipulative the same way I was lied to and manipulated.

We stayed 4 nights and all three of the front desk staff we interacted with were either rude or, at best, unfriendly. Worst part was after we discovered that housekeeping didn't provide us with enough towels or toilet paper (4 of us in the room) we tried to get more sent to us. The employee informed us that housekeeping was long gone and he was not interested/willing to help us with the supplies we needed. When I asked when someone else might help me he said he had no idea. Frustrating. If this were a 2 star hotel I would understand. But we paid $300/night and the service was far far below what we expect from a 4-star Hilton. Also of note - the rugs were dirty and were drenched in cleaning product smell (perhaps it used to be a smoking room?). Really gross.
