A small cemetery located in Jacksonville. If you are seeking old Graves, there are a few somewhat older ones.

How can a group of people steal from the elderly and live with a clear conscience? I mean, I'm sure they look at all the work they've done in returning the property to the beauty my mother spoke of throughout lifetime, it's the reason they picked it, and chose their resting place. I'm hoping now when they turn in, they think of my parents and more like them. Who lived, moved, struggled to make the smallest of payments but it was a strain as they were raising a family. How many elderly that purchased could still be alive and believe they still have their final resting place? How many families returned just for Restlawn to say, I'm sorry, we didn't hear from you in 50 years so we reclaimed your places and resold them. But we'll be happy to sell you a plot right over here. Well, no, no, no, I purchased and paid off my plots years ago. Rip off artist. Taking advantage of senior citizens and their families when their thr most vulnerable and charge them more. Case in point, my oldest son died, mind you, we're in Georgia, I chose to cremate him at his fathers disapproval. I did purchase a niche to place him but for the memorial I wanted something to hold him instead of a cardboard box. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and they had a GA urn, get this, they rented us the urn but had to wait for the service just before his to use it. One urn, repeatedly rented. Cha Ching cha Ching $$$ Thats why I say death is very profitable. Thats why I don't feel bad pursuing reimbursement to my parents, but other families that this has happened too. My parents signed a contract, paid all the payments and expected to have the spaces when they needed them with no time limit other than live life. Senior citizens are taken advantage of daily. Like children they're some of the most vulnerable we should honor them, they built this country, not steal from them. As a community no matter where we live ought to do better and protect them. When you buy a property you should also honor the contracts. I mean what they paid compared to what you've charged the family that bought them could be thousands. I think they've made enough of a profit off of them. Refund my mother what they paid. It's that simple. They have bought more property. See death makes a killing. They can afford what my parents paid. So families whose parents purchased plots in the 60's, 70's and 80's call Restlawn Memorial Park and check on your families plots. I bet theyve stolen them as well. Thats what I believe the owner meant in the 2015 article, with the families help. Meaning he knew then what he was going to do, steal the plots that the owners haven't had to claim yet, the ones who lived longer than fifty years. They didn't matter. If your planning on your final place, ask them plenty of questions. Then ask them if those spots were stolen from seniors who bought them in their 20's over fifty years ago. Like my mother. I'd rather you not make your plans with Restlawn go somewhere else. Daily vent over.
