He never apologized. The incident was reported to store manager, A.J. Martinez, who himself, had a bad attitude. Martinez told us to get three estimates for the damage; he took photographs, but said, "You are not allowed to see the video footage ...," which showed Raymond's reckless negligence. The damage to the truck was estimated at: $3,332.94; $2,530.02; & $5,062.77. Once presented with these estimates, Martinez refused to interact with us. He continues to refuse to return our calls, meet with us, or respond to our messages left for him in-person at the store and on the phone. He is, by far, the worst manager we have ever met. We like LOWES, but this guy needs to go! And as far as Raymond is concerned, he is totally incompetent. When you're at the Venice LOWE's location, do yourself a real favor, and avoid these two like the plague!

Well the two pots were delivered a couple days later July 1st from the store but I did not receive the potting soil till I got home Tuesday July 6th when I got home. This was on my doorstep (see pics). My wife just had hip replacement surgery and had to enter the house from the garage. HOME DEPOT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I called my Home Depot store and asked for a manger. I was connected with Daniel, an assistant manager. He asked how he could help and I asked if I could just send him the pics you see here and he said sure. He said, "while I'm waiting for your email to show up, want to tell me your issue." I said, "I think this time, I will just have you see the pics" Daniel then said after seeing the pics, "ohhh NO WAY! This is so NOT acceptable!" He profusely apologized and said he will send over a supervisor & assistant to take of this immediately! Less than an hour later, Joel & Jay rang my bell. They also were blown away that the warehouse shipped these items like this and MOSTLY that FedEx would walk away thinking this was acceptable! So Joel & Jay asked me where I wanted them and they carried all 12 60lb bags to my backyard and neatly stacked them! They took all the cardboard boxes with them as well even though that was so not their responsibility but a great help to this OLD (66) Marine! NOW boys & girls, in life we ALL make mistakes. Making mistakes is how we learn. It's NOT the mistakes we make, it's what we do to learn and how we rectify our mistakes or complete failures! This is a GIGANTIC mistake and/or failure! There was no communication or coordination between the project manager and the granite installation. There was also a 3 month delay of the hood, which never arrived and husband ordered one from Amazon, without the help of the project manager, so the size is off. I could continue with the frustrations but you get the idea. I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 star because the cabinet and equipment installation people were competent and very nice. This is an olive tree. Note the shape that is nothing like the artistic shapes you see on the website. Also note that the leaves are completely dried out and falling off. In the next day or so they will all be off. I called for perspective, and some reassurance. I spoke with Lou who has an incredibly pushy vibe and was not at all helpful. He could not tell me why the leaves were falling off. He suggested that it was because of my location, but my house is at 49% humidity, neither overly hot nor cold. In other words, it is much like any other location that he might be shipping to. If the leaves falling off is normal, then all he had to do was say so, but I suspect that is not the case. He had no interest in sorting this out or making sure I was happy or reassured. The plant just looks bad, and I have no idea whether it will survive or not. Packaging and shipping were good, and the weather has been OK the past few days that it would have been in transit. So I would assume that is not why the leaves are falling off. This was a gift to commemorate the life of a relative who recently passed away, a sweet gesture from my daughter, and I don't have the heart to tell her that her generous gift has these issues, or I would suggest that she ask for her money back or dispute the credit card charge.

After installing the plants, I didn't get the number that was on the quote and I was told that "You got more dirt so we gave you fewer plants". After some discussion, they agreed to add the plants. Be careful with the irrigation added to the contract. We were charged $2,000 for doing absolutely nothing and the comment was that the clock begins for hourly charges when they leave the plant! They were stuck on I75 so w e were charged for several hours. The sales person said that it was less than what we predicted, so you should be happy. This is not the service I expected. I asked for a manager/owner to call me back and never received a call. We will not consider Hazeltine in the future.
