    Freshly made on site.

I have always been a big fan of E.A. and love getting them as gifts, as well as sending them. I happened to get an email about a free box of 12 count chocolate dipped fruit, since I had purchased a certain amount. I like to be rewarded. :) The email said to call or stop by a location. I wasn't sure what the process was (already some pre-packaged or made on site..) so I just stopped by this location. Two females were working and both were polite and pleasant. One girl was pretty new so she asked if I could wait til the other one was off the phone. No problem. The store was bright and clean with some holiday cards on the side. There was maybe one already made arrangement in the case but everything else is made to order. Once she was off the phone, I showed her the email I printed out, and away she went into the back. Total process took about 25 minutes I would guess. She came out from the back to let me know the chocolate was just drying and would be a couple more minutes. I really appreciated the work she did and with a smile. The fruit looked great and I was very happy to present it as a gift.

Enjoyed that they had a variety of not just paper, journals and pens but also locally sourced items like coffee, books and stickers. The shop was pretty crowded during my visit, probably a dozen people or so in the small space. This made me happy to see so many people shopping local. Eventually, after browsing most of the store, I decided to get a coffee bean pendant for my Traveler's Notebook. I've seen this same charm online for upwards of $20. Omoi's was $18. Definitely a value there! The service was excellent. While ringing me up one of the ladies running the register grabbed the Traveler's Notebook stamp (which you have to ask for) and let me do my thing. The stamp for the Traveler's Notebook is pretty cool, it features a soft pretzel and Water Ice.

Omoi was close to where we were coming to / heading to, so I bookmarked it and we managed to stop by before they closed. It was actually really poppin when we got there, despite the fact that it was about 30 minutes to closing time. I wasn't really on the market for anything, just wanted to browse. I ended up picking up some cute notepads for a friend and some washi tape for myself. I love that they sold matchbooks here! I am an avid matchbook collector, despite not smoking a day in my life. Staff were super nice and very friendly.

Because I'm quirky like that and yes, I'd love a mobile of adorable tiny sheep. You're going to have to stop yourself from saying, "How CUUUUUTE!" about 14,347 times while you're perusing the shop. In the back is a shelf full of sale items, so don't forget to peek there. I love the fake decorative plants. What's not to love, they look so real and you don't have to remember to water them. But it's the quirky little home goods that I love. I am madly in love with the felted colorful bunting that spells out MERRY CHRISTMAS. Maybe when I get a bonus at work I can justify spending $40 on it! LOL.

The store accepts cash and credit, and they'll be happy to giftwrap your items. Home on Haddon also runs crafting classes, the schedule and upcoming events can be found on their website. The shop is run by a mother and daughter- oh and their adorable & friendly dog. They could not have been more accomidating or friendly. If you're looking for a gift, this is the first place you should check out.
