I ordered back in January for a friends birthday. This store was open on a Sunday which was super helpful. They had a lot to choose from on their site. I was disappointed with how late in the day it was delivered. They clearly tell you it could take all day but I was really hoping she got it before 4! But she said it looked just like the picture and tasted good. read more

I placed an order to send as a Thank You to our friends... When I placed the order, I provided delivery instructions - "Please call the number provided if homeowner is not available." Scott, the delivery driver, did just that. He understood that I wasn't too comfortable leaving the fresh fruit bouquet outside their home, and patiently suggested some alternative options. Since I didn't want him to bring back the order to the shop (it was a surprise gift and I didn't want my friends to have to go pick up their own gift), Scott agreed and assured me he would finish his route and circle back to attempt another hand delivery. As we were about to get off the phone, he noticed a car pulling up to the house and asked if I was familiar with the vehicle approaching. I wasn't too sure, so he said he'd call me right back. A couple minutes later, Scott calls back and with a very happy tone tells me the homeowner, our friend, had just come home and he was able to successfully hand deliver the arrangement. I was so very pleased with Scott's professionalism, friendliness and consideration to work out alternative options that I decided to call the store and asked to speak to the Owner. I expressed my gratitude for Scott's exceptional customer service to Jeanine, the Owner, and she was so appreciative of the acknowledgement for her employee. She said something along the lines of "Most often, you get a call with a customer complaining or expressing their dissatisfaction, especially to something that is out of our control. It's so nice to receive such a warm and pleasant call." She had great feedback for Scott as well, and mentioned that she would do something nice for him. My takeaway? 1. Professional and customer focused staff. 2. An owner that recognizes deserving employees and rewards them for their above and beyond efforts. 3. Fruit bouquet was done beautifully! I ordered something to be delivered and to contact me before delivery especially if there were any issues. They tried delivering it, did not call just left a door tag. Tried calling them back when I saw the door tag 10 min later after arriving home, they were closed. Since I had nobody to call to get the delivery I called corporate to try to resolve the issue. The following day Roseanne called me back leaving me 5 voicemails over the course of an hour where she stated she did 'everything they could' and provided 'excellent customer service' and that they've already gone 'above and beyond.' When I finally spoke to her in person, she would not let me speak and kept telling me that they have done everything they could, but they had not delivered the package. She was incredibly rude and would not listen, no customer service and service recovery skills. I asked her for a refund since she was incredibly unprofessional and rude and they had not delivered the order, she refused. Eventually I asked the for the manager to call. She called and scolded me on the phone and told me "she doesn't want people like me to come to her store." Edible arrangements corporate called back and they apologized on that franchise's behalf, offered me a gift card and I had my original order filled by a different location that was super apologetic over the bad experience and offered me extra covered fruit as an apology. I recommend using a different location nearby. You won't have to worry about a bad experience. I've used edible arrangements many times in the past, first time from this location. all the other locations are great. read more

We ordered a pasover fruit centerpiece in April 2008 and it was WONDERFUL. We added chocolate covered pineapple and chocolate covered strawberries (a few came in the centerpiece but we wanted extra) for an extra charge. We also omitted the marshmallow centers from the strawberries. It was a huge (and tasty) hit! Fresh,sweet fruit - artfully presented and a great alternative to a floral centerpiece. It was devoured! This company as well as Fruitflowers.com are both great sources for unqiue gift ideas. read more

Twice I have called Edible Arrangements in Commack. Each time the call was answered by Janine, who I've since learned is the owner. Even though the first call was more inquiry, Janine was very polite and patient during my "barrage" of questioning. The second time I called was this week for a surprise birthday fruit arrangement for my Lady. And again Janine politely answered the phone, and after patiently answering some questions and making a few suggestions, she informed me she would put, "Roseanne on the phone." Roseanne pleasantly answered all of my questions, walked me to and thru her company's website in helping me choose the "right" arrangement for me. After delivery, My Liz quickly informed me she was extremely pleased, "Thank you Baby, it's beautiful!" And thank you Ladies at Edible for making my girl happy on her special day. I ordered an arrangement online and there was a glitch in the system and I was inadvertently charged a delivery charge on an item that was listed as having no delivery charge. I called Edible Arrangements in Commack and spoke to the owner. She provided excellent customer service by immediately removing the charge and ensuring that my delivery went out the same day. It is best to call the shop directly rather than order online. I definitely recommend the Commack Edible Arrangements as the owner is very accommodating. read more

This place was AMAZING , not only was the arrangement Fabulous, I requested a certain window of time , because it was an outdoor summer party , and they listened and it arrived at he the perfect time. Everyone was there, and to see that arrive, just added to the festivities and immediately it was being enjoyed by the all....I am from Ohio and could not be there, sending that Watermelon Festive Dipped arrangement, , also I added extra dipped bananas, reminded my Family, we were there in SPIRIT!...
