I went to the zoo on a class field trip in Frankfurt Germany. Elementary! Mom gave me and my brother money. This guy goes and buy mom a plaque with a monkey on it. I go and buy the PEZ candy toy for myself. We get home and she yells at me saying that I was selfish. I was so made. A moment of reflection and feeling nastalgic. So I think I'm not the only one that purchased the candy cigarettes and pretended to smoke. I'm just happy that I wasn't influenced by that act. But IT'SUGAR has a lot of sweet stuff (lol no pun) for you to try. I was treated to a pack of stogies and I had to be the gentleman and lite a cigarette. Smh! He said he's been coming to this bakery for quite some time and his brother always buys a bunch of things when he visits. There was plenty of free parking on a Saturday night and the store itself was brightly lit. Very spacious inside and very clean. I was surprised at the variety and amount of items for sale! Everything was stocked pretty full, especially the cookies and individual pastries. I believe everything goes by weight when you're purchasing the cookies and pastries but if you have any questions, the staff were super sweet, patient and helpful! Hubby purchased an assortment of items like eclairs, cookies, rainbow cookies, cannolis and some sort of Napoleon looking pastry. Although some were a bit on the sweeter side (I have a sweet tooth too), everything was very delicious! I was very surprised that the butter cookies were really good because those are usually my least favorite anywhere I go. The rainbow cookies were also very good! There were no tables and chairs for customers so if you were planning on sitting down to enjoy something, sorry! The service was great. The ambiance is small and intimate with low lighting. We arrived at 5pm, but it filled up while we were there.
