Ordered an arrangement for a friend who lost her father. I got an email saying it was "hand delivered." Checked with my friend, never received. Not delivered to a neighbor by mistake. Called the store and was told they would "create a ticket," and get back to me in 48 hours. Called the 1800 number and my order number was listed as "canceled." Why not just call the driver and see what happened to the order? When you are sending a condolence arrangement, you want it to arrive in a timely fashion, not in a week after a "ticket" has been investigated. The store employee should have responded with: "I am so very sorry. I will look up what you ordered and have it delivered this morning." Terrible customer service! read more

I ordered for my best friend, she had just lost her brother and I knew that her getting a delivery on her first day back to work would help cheer her up. So, we went downstairs to get lunch and as I am with her, the driver calls me to ask where to deliver the fruit arrangement, ruined the whole surprise because she had questions about how to deliver to our building. Of course, my friend smiled for receiving this but it upset me that the surprise was ruined and to top it off, the driver spoke very little English, so we could not communicate. This is my first time ordering from them and might consider ordering if its my last option. So disappointed with how the delivery was executed. read more

Do not use this store, bad business practices. They sent a cryptic text message with no contact information that looked like half the nonsense spam you get texted to you several times a week. When we kept getting texts saying the same thing we started calling around to edible arrangement companies seeing if this was some scam. I bought a platter, ballon and cookies as a mother's day gift for my mom. I am absolutely appalled. Not only did my mom receive the wrong platter, but she didn't receive the ballon and the cookies looked like they were made by a child. I called the store right after my mom received her delivery, I told the man who answered that she received the wrong platter and the ballon was missing. He said that they would redeliver the correct items to her, which was fine. She received the new platter and it was still not what I ordered. The cheesecake looked disgusting, the strawberries were rotten and they replaced the chocolate covered pecans with cookies. Again, not what I ordered and still no balloon!! Mind you it didn't arrive till after 7 pm. You state that you take pride in the quality of your produce and the way you make your items. I don't see anything that qualifies this order to be of quality. Nothing but disappointment. I would NEVER order from this place again and with how much these cost, nor should anyone else! I will add the pics below to show you what I ordered vs. what my mother received. Im extremely upset, disappointed and embarrassed that this is what was sent, not once but TWICE! Z E R O S T A R S ! ! Like many other reviews here I would award zero stars if I could. This is for both the Denville and the Budd Lake office... Have you ordered from edible arrangements? Yes? Did you pay the 10 dollar same day delivery fee? Yes? well then you my friend are as much a sucker as I was... I placed an order at 9:30 am for delivery and clicked the $10 option for same day delivery. The order was not delivered that day. The recipient was home working and home schooling her two kids. SHE WAS HOME ALL DAY, AT A DESK WITH A WINDOW FACING HER DRIVEWAY. No attempt was made to deliver this item on the same day. The recipient would have seen it from the window. Yet the guy at the Denville office assured me one was made. I call bull on that but lets not get ahead of ourselves... First I called the store that I selected to fulfill this order, that was the Budd Lake office. After dealing with that person for over 10 minutes she finally told me they do not service that address, that Franklin did, and that to get my $10 refund I had to call the Denville office, which made zip in the way of sense. Why are three freaking stores involved with this order?? Also she asked me where I lived. What in the hell does that have to do with anything? Also, I told her and the Denville office that I had an order number. Neither wanted that and instead insisted on looking up the order via the recipients last name. Isn't the order number the more efficient way to go? I mean why even have one in the first place? So when I call Denville the guy basically says that they cannot guarantee anyone will be home to receive it so they cannot issue a refund. When I asked how many times the recipient is not home when an attempt is made he said "it happens all the time". Ok so when I ask how they can even offer such a service as an extra ten dollars for same day delivery when they know damn well they are likely to not be able to deliver on the same day I got a canned speech about how they can't control when people are home. When I told him that he could keep the ten bucks and that I will never order from Edible Arrangements again and certainly not use the same day fee if I did (not likely) he told me to keep an eye out for sales when they offer that service for free. Really dude? thats your solution? That guy in Denville was probably just doing his job but what a lousy company. The Budd Lake office was an exercise in patience unlike any I have experienced before. I never had that much frustration trying to get a simple answer out of anyone in my life. Seriously talking to that girl was like talking to someone on the sun over radio, with the 8 minute delay between signals included. Save yourself some trouble and just go to the store, buy some fruit, cut it up, put it on some skewers, put it in a box and drive it to your recipients house yourself. Just had a very bad experience with these people. We ordered a platter to be sent to someone's home who had a family member pass away. The platter was NOT delivered when requested but was delivered a week later.....with decorations that said "congratulations" all over it! When we called to ascertain what happened, they had no idea and did not believe us. We asked they investigate and call us back which they never did. When we called again, they said "stop by and we'll give you a box of fruit." This is NOT the way to do business....I strongly suggest you stay FAR AWAY. read more

Based on my most recent experience with Edible, I will never order another item, again. I ordered a Mother's Day basket and it was never delivered at all! What a joke! I reached out directly to the local store in Portland Oregon and spoke with Eddie 3 times over two days with the goal of having the order delivered on Mother's Day. Was assured it would be delivered and Eddie also offered a free balloon. The basket was never delivered, however, my AMEX was billed $69.00! Will never use Edible again. Throughout the years I have received and sent dozens of Edible Arrangements and never had an issue. On Saturday, August 15th we received a large delivery (it was close to a $200 arrangement) and the fruit was rancid - not even slightly bad it was rotten. It smelled awful as soon as you opened the plastic paper and tasted even worse than it smelt. We started by calling the store. The gentleman who answered the phone called me an ungrateful customer. He stated there was no way the fruit was bad, that the employees had gotten to the store at 7:30am to make the arrangement and that I should be appreciative of all the hard work that was put into the product. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the message would be passed along to the owner who might return my call if they felt like it but I shouldn't hold my breath because I was in the wrong. This was the cherry on the cake for a delivery that was over two hours late. The store even called the day before to confirm the delivery time for the item and I made sure to have someone home to accept and refrigerate the product. I then proceeded to call corporate who seemed to be very understanding and put in a request to the store to contact me within 24 hours to come up with a resolution. I was asked by corporate not to contact the store directly and to reach back out to corporate after 24 hours had past and a resolution was not me. After no response from the store, I called corporate again who escalated the issue to upper management. The representative who I spoke with told me at this level the store had 24 hours to make it right or corporate would resolve the issue for me and the store would be fined. Another 24 hours came and went without any resolution from the store. When I spoke with corporate, they called the store and the girl who answered the phone said neither a manager or owner would be on property for four more days (this was over a weekend too - what kind of business operates for that long without a manager?). A representative from corporate management told me that she would resolve the issue and called me later that day. At this point - ten days and over a dozen phone calls later - I still do not have a resolution. Although the people at corporate are nice enough they have no power to enforce the stores to follow any protocol or take care of their customers. I will never again send another edible arrangements product and will make sure I let all my family, friends and collogues know about my experience. read more

I have received and sent Edible Arrangements in the past, but never from this location. I hope that none of the people that I have ever sent one to ever got something that looked like this. Not only were there empty sticks and the arrangement looks nothing like what I ordered, a guest at my party informed me that the strawberries had mold on them. I should have just gone with my instinct and put out a fruit salad instead of thinking this would be a nice addition to my party. The only credit I will give to the overall company is that I reached out to corporate and received a full refund (however, no response to my email). Worst Edible Arrangement location ever, huge rip off compared to other locations. Purchased a LARGE Mother's Day Drizzle bouquet and I've never seen a "large" arrangement so small. Here is a photo of my $129 arrangement compare to the size of a $49 they had ready made. Got some excuse that it's because they are so busy that they didn't use a foam to make the arrangement look bigger yet both size arrangements were around the same weight. Come one, people are buying these expensive arrangements for special occasions so you would think that this location would put in more effort into making it look presentable. Based on the amount of poor reviews you would think that the owner would do something to improve considering the amount of competitions in nearby towns. What a nightmare! Absolutely awful. Unreliable service. Terrible customer support. Misleading employees. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a merchant. I ordered gifts for Mother's Day 5 days in advance, paid extra for delivery to arrive the day before Mother's Day, and called the store 3 days before to confirm delivery. When nothing was delivered late in the day before Mother's Day, I called the store again, and was assured my order would be delivered that day. It was not. I called the store yet again and left a voice message, which was never returned. I tried to reach customer support online, but the online chat said no one was available, and also that no one was available by telephone customer support. The next morning I called the store, was put on hold for 15 minutes, and then disconnected. I called back and no one answered. I left a message that was never returned. I called back again, and was once again assured that my order would be delivered that day. It was not. I called the store multiple times, and left another message, which was also never returned. For the rest of my calls, I received a recording saying that their voicemail box was full. Again, I tried to get support online, but the automated chat bot simply gave useless responses. When I finally got a live person via the online chat, she responded that my order was in process and abruptly ended the chat. I could not get another live person via the online chat. I finally got a number to call their main support number, spoke with someone there who put me on hold multiple times while she tried to resolve the matter, and after 25 minutes told me that her manager would call me back that day. No one ever called me back. I called the store again, was on for 25 minutes, mostly on hold, and spoke with the manager who again assured me that my order would be delivered that day, saying "even if I have to deliver it myself." My order was not delivered. I called again the next day, got the same runaround, and was told that the "District Manager" would call me back. No one called me back. In fact, I've never gotten a single call back from anyone at Edible Arrangements. My order was never delivered. I was never offered any compensation for this debacle which usurped hours of my time, nor even an apology. I was so embarrassed not sending a gift for Mother's Day. I ordered similar items from Shari's Berries at 6 pm the next day and they were delivered early the next day with absolutely no issues whatsoever. read more

I am so disappointed with the sympathy arrangement I had delivered to my friend. I ordered a large arrangement with white doves. I paid over 150$ for her to receive her arrangement with a glob of sloppy white chocolate on sticks. You could not even tell they were doves and it looked nothing like the picture they advertised online. So I called the store to try and see what can be done about this and I was told "well just like when you go to McDonald's and you see the pictures of the burgers you know they never look like the picture when you get it. Our online photos are photoshopped" I was disgusted with the attitude on this young man. Sir we aren't speaking about a 5$ happy meal we are talking about over 100$ I spent and my 5 year old can do a better job cutting around her play dough molds. Never again will I ever order from here again which is a shame because until now edible arrangements was my go to. I attached the photos of what I ordered versus what I got. And to be fair I received an edible arrangement with white doves when my father passed away and the doves were beautiful. So angry. I specifically put in my delivery instructions to please not deliver before a certain time because I knew the person who was supposed to receive the item would not be home. This was to be delivered for a party later that evening. They delivered 4 hours ahead of the time I asked, and someone else who wasn't the recipient received the delivery and wasn't aware the item was for a party and ate the item. So the person I sent the item for didn't even get to enjoy it or be able to display it at the party. I know that they can't guarantee a certain delivery time but 4 hours before the requested time is a far stretch, and they should've called me to ask me if that was okay. I received a edible arrangements bouquet on Friday evening. By Sunday morning, some of the fruit was moldy. I called the store and was told that the fruit was meant to be eaten the day of. I refrigerated the fruit and expected it to last a few days but was told again by the store that the fruit is not meant to last past the day of delivery. It was a big bouquet. My fiancé ordered 3 dozen strawberries, balloons, flowers and a teddy bear from this location and this was by far the WORST purchase ever. For one the order wasn't delivered on the promised delivery date, only half the order was delivered when I called to verify where the rest of the order was no answer and I was redirected to their corporate office. I spoke with someone there and they stated they would open a claim for me. The next day the "missing" items were delivered, upon delivery I open the flowers and they literally looked like they were squashed and had MOLD growing on them. I immediately contacted customer service again, to no surprise no answer from the store yet again. I called their corporate office and had to provide pictures for proof and the customer rep was going to reach out to the store and I should receive a follow up the next day with a credit of $70 due to the delayed items and the quality of the flowers. This was on Feb 16th, almost 3 weeks later and I've had to call customer service 3x to follow up. I was promised a call yesterday on 3/7 and have not heard back. I called again today 3/8 and continue to get the run around now they are stating they don't know who promised the $70 refund. I asked if they record their calls they stated yes they do, so I told them to go back and listen to it. I provided the date and time for there convenience. At this point they might as well offer me a job for the amount of time I've had to spend on getting a resolution. The flowers and bear alone totaled to almost $140, tell me do the flowers in that picture look worthy of $140??? I think not! By 4:30pm she still hadn't received it so I called the store where it was coming from - Denville. No answer! Called corporate in CT. Was told 7-9pm delivery window. Never received. No contact made either to me or my sister. It's now 9/18/21 and the order tracking still says it's being made. Still no answer at the Denville store. Called corporate just now to complain and get a refund. I wanted to do something special on my sister's birthday. Now the day has gone by and I'm in a battle to get my money refunded, which I shouldn't have been charged in the first place if the order was never completed. This past friday i ordered a beautiful sympathy arrangement in person. I wasnt eligible for the free delivery because i didnt order online. I was ok with that and i paid an extra 15.00 for next day delivery. It was delivered on Saturday alright.....but to "another street address and to another town"!!! Omg....how do these idiots stay in business?? They dont answer their phone...and when they finally did, they blamed it on door dash and told me they are trying to resolve it with them, and theyll call me back. They never called me back, and they lied....they never called door dash office either. And, i had no idea the delivery service was doordash!?! I see those cute little company trucks for edible arrangements all over, so i was gullible enough to think they " kept it in the family" . These discusting people sleep at night after ripping off ALL these paying customers?? And it hurts even more when the order is placed FOR a grieving family member, FROM a grieving family member!!!! How are these crooks still in business and not behind bars?? Im contacting the BBB, and corp. This location is a joke. Walked into this location today to pick up an order. Checked online to see what their business hours were, and the location had already been open for hours supposedly. I walk in, the lights were off up front (but door was open), I wait thinking someone heard the door ring and will come up front, but no one came. Staff was very nice and helped us pick a nice piece for New Years. Fruit appearance came out better then expected. Chocolate covered Banana's were a hit. Only issues we had was with the Strawberries, they didn't seem so fresh and were a bit soft. Other then that it was a positive experience, but for the money, wish everything was perfect. After talking to friend later I was told what the package contained which was a bit off from what it was supposed to be so I contacted the store, and the guy was not apologetic in the least. I was very unhappy about the issue and the Owner was supposed to talk to corporate about issue and call me back, and I never heard back from him. I then emailed about it a couple days after not hearing back, and have yet to get a response about it. Horrible customer service. I ordered something to be delivered on Sat. Sept 19th for my moms birthday. The gift never arrived on Sat. On Sunday i called multiple times and no one answered & nothing was delivered. I called again on Monday multiple times and finally was able to get ahold of someone. They told me that my order was "unsuccessful" & that usually means no one was home to get it. I never received a phone call saying anything about my order so essentially they were going to take my money and not give me anything. I asked them what they normally do if someone doesn't answer the door and they said call them & i said well i never got a call and it seems ridiculous to me that i wasn't contacted being that they charged me and had all my info. They asked if i wanted a refund-well obviously i never got anything so clearly that should be done. I then asked what they could do for me and they told me "nothing we gave you a refund." It doesn't make sense since they made a mistake & should fix it. So now im refunded but my mom has no gift. I will never order from them again. When trying to reach them the day after, the phone continuously rang. After calling 3 times, a very low speaking female finally answered with just a hello. After asking about delivery I was put on hold and she came back on and said 5:30 today. Every time I explained that his b day was yesterday and asked what happened I was put on hold. I called customer service who said they also could not get anyone on the phone at the store and they asked me to wait 24 hours for someone to contact me. Received an arrangement from this edible store. Was so disappointed. This isn't the first time either. The driver was instructed no one would be home until 5 so please deliver after 3. My daughter came home from school at 2:45 and the arrangement was already there and left outside in the driveway. I called the store as the chocolate covered strawberries were not good. From being outside they were wet and the ones that weren't covered were spoiled. This store didn't even have the decency to call me back! This was a gift and I feel bad for the sender that they spent their money on this. I order from here often and I will not use this location anymore either. I have ordered dozens of Edible Arrangements. I always put a "deliver by" time and never had an issue. Ordered a party size arrangement for my grandson's birthday with a "deliver by noon" request. At 12:45 I called store and was told they would be there by 1:30. Let them know party was over by 3:00. Arrangement never showed up/party ended. They dropped it off at 4:30. When I called store they wouldn't pick up phone. read more
