What a terrible experience. Like most of us, placing an order at Edible Arrangements is reserved for a celebration, milestone or birthday. We pay a premium for what should be a service that is fulfilled in a timely manner on the special day requested. Edible Arrangements in Douglasville, Georgia is not able to fulfill their promises, nor deliver on time. I placed an order for same day delivery at 9:30am. I paid a premium for the expedited, same day service to celebrate my niece's 14th birthday. I received a confirmation that my order would be delivered on the same day. The following day I received a voicemail sharing that the order was out for delivery that day. There was no acknowledgment that this order was shipping late or a day after it was supposed to. I returned the call and spoke to a young girl named Lily. She shared that she was not working the previous day, but my order had not gone out. I expressed my frustrations as this was for a birthday the previous day. I asked if I could please receive a refund for the additional fees that were included for same-day delivery. Lily put me on hold and returned to the phone saying "unfortunately, that was not an option, however, they could include an additional treat for the delay" I asked if I could speak to her manager, and she shared that he was not available - he would return on Monday. I completed a contact me form on the edible arrangement website in a few days later I received a partial refund. ($17.10) My frustration is that nobody at Edible Arrangements Douglasville never once followed up or apologized why my order did not go out on the day of my niece's birthday. The fruit and cookies were delivered just fine. But they were delivered to my 80 year old mom at 8:00 at night. And she lives in the same town as the store. It doesn't make sense. Why do you do that? You are delivering at 8:00 at night? Come on already. Disappointed. Might be the last time I order from edible arrangements. I am sure some other company would like to have my business. I live in CA and I ordered from their same day delivery options the night before. I left the recipients phone number for delivery issues. I called at 11:30 west coast time to see if the order had been processed and the gal on the phone said they called because they weren't sure where to deliver it too and that it's to late to deliver it today... Whyyyy didnt they call the recipient and or call me several more times as they have already been paid. Customer service was a 0 on this order. read more

I came into this place to get a cup of chocolate covered strawberries and the woman tried charging me $12 when I have been to other Edible Arrangements that only charge $6. I tried coming back another day to give them another chance. We were charged $6 alright but we got five not ripe strawberries with white tips, and get this, the strawberries were not even half dipped. I have decided to not ever come back to this place. To "top it off" the women working there have attitudes and I feel like another for even coming in. Save your money please. This place is a joke. read more

I have been ordering with Edible arrangements for a while now. This is probably my second time ordering from another state. I have never received customer services the way I did until I spoke with the Driver Linda. Ok, so it was my sister in-law birthday. She lives in GA. Around 10am the day it was scheduled to be delivered I received a called from Linda stating that she had a difficult time finding the address and she just wanted to confirm that she had the correct address, unfortunately my sister in-law wasn't answering the phone either so I couldn't give her the exact directions because I live in NY and wasn't sure myself. She said Ms don't worry about it. I will continue to search and look for the house, not even 10 mins I received a phone call from my sister in law. Stating that she received her gift. 2 mins after hanging up from her. Linda called me back to let me know that after going to 3 different houses she finally found it and the delivery was successful. Kale more visible than fruit in my arrangement. Also, I paid extra for the strawberries to be dipped in chocolate. Unfortunately, only one(1) strawberry dipped. I would advise all customers to have the recipients of your gifts to forward a picture of the arrangement to confirm it's what was ordered. If you're not satisfied, please do not expect any customer service from the Franchisee/Owner, whose name I won't mention out of respect. If I could give them a zero I would! I am beyond upset of the customer and overall experience I received from this company. My little nephew recently had a very high risk surgery and since I live so far from the family I decided to splurge and send him a little surprise. I went online the night before, placed order. The morning of I called and was advised my order was transferred to a different store (I was fine with the revision but unhappy I was not notified). I ask when are deliveries typically sent out, she said 11 and provided no further details. Georgia is 3 hours ahead of Las Vegas, I call the store again, by this time it is now 3 pm in Georgia, and ask for an update. She says the order just now got sent out. Then two more hours pass and I am still not updated. I call the store again provide my contact number for any questions or issues. My boyfriend was the only person who knew of the surprise. It is now 5pm in Georgia I call the store and get notified delivery was unsuccessful because no one was home!!? First of all I asked to be contacted if there were any issues. Second of all my nephew was there with his mom because of the surgery he needs bed rest!? Third of all my boyfriend was there waiting for the delivery! The store rep then tells me she will contact the driver to return and deliver. My boyfriend goes outside waits for 1.5 hrs and no one shows up. I call the store again, get transferred to the driver she says delivery times are over and no one was home. I explained why did I never get a call, she said she did, I asked to verify number, she wrote down the wrong one! I placed my number on the order profile, the comments, plus gave it to the store rep. The driver then rudely proceeds to say she can try and deliver tomorrow nothing else she can do. I ask to speak to a manger says there will not be one until Monday. Then I ask for a solution, this is unacceptable after I was promised the driver would go back to deliver! She said nothing I can do and hung up on me! I am in true disbelief of how this all went. I followed up so many times to prevent mistakes and ensure a seamless delivery but instead there was no delivery and I spoke to the most unprofessional store reps ever. I am beyond dissatisfied and unhappy. The next day this was delivered, the fruit was the same one from the day before! The plastic had condensed moisture, my little nephew thanked me for the surprise but said it looked "yucky". Are you kidding me! I've wanted to try Edible Arrangements since they opened. Finally went ahead and ordered a "bouquet" that had chocolate dipped strawberries and fresh fruit. I honestly wasn't expecting much as very few restaurants even serve truly ripe fruit any more. I am absolutely thrilled with what I received. The presentation was beautiful (as I expected), and the fruit was perfect...a variety of perfectly ripe fruit. The chocolate on the strawberries was delicious...a darker, less sweet chocolate, but not quite bittersweet. I will be ordering edible arrangements again. read more

The Certified Happiness is an empty promise. I sent an Edible Arrangement in excess of $120.00 to my in-laws for Christmas. Christmas morning, I was told that the bananas were rotted, the strawberries were sour and the Cantaloupe was stringy. Since Edible Arrangements is closed on Christmas, I was able to perform an online chat. During the Chat, no one mentioned to take pictures. Once the manager called, his words were "there is no way that the bananas could have been bad. I just got them off the truck from Phoenix." A) Who cares? and B) Are you calling me a liar? In March of this year (2018), I decided to splurge and by the wife a fruit arrangement from the Edible Arrangements store in Douglasville, Georgia. I bought a basket that came with a smiley face balloon and I also added the six pieces of chocolate coated fruit in a separate box. In order to "surprise" my wife, I asked her to stay at home that day. I got a call on delivery day, and the driver told me she was 7 minutes out. I texted my wife and told her to hang around. I got another call from the driver who said no one was home. My wife had run a very short errand and was within a couple of minutes getting back home. I asked the driver if she could wait a very short couple of minutes (I respect people's time) and she said she would if I would call her right back. My wife called during that short time and said she would be home immediately. I called the lady back and told her she would be home within seconds - I was also going to tell her to leave it with my next door neighbor (on either side of my house - we are friends with both). She said she left and the order would have to wait until the next day. Of course, I didn't like this as it was a very expensive ($82) gift I wanted to surprise my wife with. I told my wife to call the driver and asked to meet her in town. My wife wound up having to drive over 35 miles to the store to get the order. When she got to the store they shorted her the box of dipped fruit and the balloon. I called the corporate office, and she said all they could do was deliver it later or take the price of the dipped fruit off. I told her that wasn't a very good deal since they spoiled the surprise and the birthday -- I was left with a few slices of cantaloupe and honeydew melon with a couple of pieces of dipped fruit in a big coffee cup - I had to pay around 60 bucks for that -- it may have been worth 6-10 bucks. Corporate wouldn't help me and rushed me off the phone. The next day I called the Douglasville store and explained my side. The lady had NO interest in hearing my side. I did raise my voice and said I was screwed. I asked if the manager would call me and the lady said he would not. I plead my case some more and she hung up. I started looking on the internet for reviews of this store and they are overwhelmingly bad. I was told they couldn't guarantee the delivery time and I felt at these exuberant prices they should and could guarantee it - especially when the product must be refrigerated. I would tell anyone to RUN, NOT WALK from Edible Arrangements and the Douglasville store in particular. It is a total ripoff business with ZERO customer support. read more

This store does not follow directions at all. I placed an order for delivery and they did not deliver my order but yet they charged me. When I called customer service the store is saying it was delivered. In researching this claim, the dumbies must have delivered my arrangement to the wrong address. This was a police event and their was an officer in the front at the time this store is claiming to have dropped of the arrangement. The officer said NO ONE from edible arrangement dropped any fruit. Really, REALLY disappointed with this location. Edible Arrangements are great. I've ordered them several times before, and have always been happy with the quality of the fruit, and the presentation. The recipient of my gift this time was also pleased with the quality of the fruit, which is why this particular business is receiving 2 stars instead of 1 or 0 stars. However, the business practice of this location stinks. I placed an order on Friday for a small box of chocolate covered fruit to be delivered on Sunday. I noted that the delivery was to be made to a gated community and listed the recipients' phone number so that if there were any problems with entry to the community, someone could call in a gate pass. I was told today (the day after the gift was to be delivered) by the person who called (I assume the owner or manager), that the delivery driver was unable to make the delivery because they were unable to enter the gated community. I was told that the driver was unable to make the delivery today as well. I was then told by the person on the phone that I would not be charged for their attempt to deliver the gift tomorrow. I don't think there should be any point where I should be charged additionally for delivery, when I note that the community is gated, and provide the telephone number of the recipient. I said as much to the person I was speaking to. I also asked why the delivery person wouldn't call the number of the person who was listed as the recipient when they were not allowed entry to the gated community IF a delivery attempt had been made. And why would it be my fault if that happened two days in a row? But the worst part is that most of the conversation with the owner/manager (?), was false. The intended recipient of my gift called me to tell me that he had received a call from the delivery person on Sunday (the day the gift was to be delivered). The driver said that he was sorry, but he was swamped with deliveries, and asked the recipient if they could deliver the gift the next day. The recipient of the gift agreed. Today, the driver called the recipient and asked to be allowed into the gated community. My recipient received the gift, but I was told (after the fact) by the owner/manager (?) that the driver was unable to make the delivery and it would have to be made tomorrow. I have two choices of Edible Arrangement stores to order from when I want to send gifts to this person. I will no longer choose this store. Despite the quality of the product, I'd rather not patronize someone who lies to their customers. read more
