Went to pick up my Father's Day order very near closing time on Saturday. When I got there, I was told that I had ordered it for NEXT Sat! (Having chemo fog brain, I can easily see how this happened). Yet they were very kind to accommodate me and even added some extra chocolate covered fruit to the arrangement which was decorated with and filled a mini barbeque. Multiple issues with this location. The first time they delivered to another department when I had given very detail directions and a phone number in case lost. They decide to drop off in a different department and said they had a signature and that is all that is required even though it was the wrong office. This time I did the order online and was told today that they decided it was to late 45 minutes later after taking the order. They said we can try to get it delivered tomorrow. I will never order from this location again. read more

They have a great product but are so unreliable with timing. They keep lying saying 10 more mins. I've been waiting 40. They shouldn't accept the order if thy cannot fill it. I told them ahead of time I was picking it up on my lunch break and didn't have time to wait. Now I know that when I get them delivered they are lying when they say the driver is running late. The truth is thy haven't even made it. So unprofessional. read more

I went in there today with my friend and Val came out right away, making a great first impression. She offered us samples and just went above and beyond. We end up getting 10 chocolate covered strawberries as a treat, Val gave us a discount and made a connection with both of us as guests and members of the community. It's way worth the extra money if you want FRESH QUALITY product. Her new assistant Gardenia was very nice as well. Overall, very impressed. Thank you! read more

My daughter sent me a box of the chocolate covered strawberries. I was not home for the delivery but was left a note with time of delivery and phone number. I called and Val let me know that it would be redelivered ASAP. She also gave me the drivers name which was David and she would call him and let him know I was now home. David did indeed redeliver and after I'm sure driving all day, was just so cheerful and his demeaner so professional. just to let everyone know, the chocolate covered strawberries were the absolute best I have ever had. I received an Edible Arrangement yesterday, and the mango and strawberries in my arrangement were WAY tart (inedible). Family members told me to report this to the store, because Edible Arrangements would make it right. I wasn't sure which store my order came from, so I called three stores, starting with the one nearest to my house, Poway. The woman who answered the phone was extremely helpful, and went to every effort to see if my order came from that store. She couldn't find me in their system. Ditto with the second store, Carmel Mtn., so nice and helpful, expressing an interest in making things right, but it didn't appear that my order came from that store. The man who took my call suggested contacting the Encinitas store. When I called the Encinitas store, the man who answered validated that my order came from that store. He asked specifically what was wrong with my arrangement. When I told him about the strawberries and mango, he just said OK. I asked, "Is there anything you can do to correct this?" The man said that if the mango is too ripe, they can't stabilize it. I stayed quiet, unimpressed with this reaction, especially in contrast to how the people at the other stores had spoken to me and had been so super helpful. He then offered that he would give me 6 free chocolate-dipped strawberries on my next order. I just said OK and ended the call. You can be sure I won't do business with the Encinitas store in the future. read more

I called Edible Arrangements in a jam at 12:30pm; I needed an arrangement delivered by 3:30. Not only did she call her driver and bring him back to the store, she delivered my arrangement at 2 pm. Pure perfection. Thank you Olivia, customer service like this is rare! Great experience! read more

I Placed an order from out of state for my daughters birthday that was to arrive in the AM but didn't arrive until 5 PM. No one was home so my wife had to track the fruit down on a Sunday as they don't deliver on Sunday. My daughter didn't recieve her gift. If you order you should probably pick it up yourself as you can't count on them to deliver. read more

Jason helped me pick a beautiful gift for my aunt's birthday that was within my budget. My aunt was so happy with the way everything turned out. There was a closer edible arraignments to my aunt but I knew my order would be taken care of with Jason and his crew. They were happy to take care of all my requests and promptly delivered for us. So disappointed. Have been using Edible Arrangements for years. Paid extra for delivery and it never got delivered to my mom. Called 4 times and they said it was on its way but it never arrived. My mom waited an extra hour at work onyl to receive nothing. If they would have told me they were falling behind I would have picked them up myself. Horrible customer service. I ordered a very simple box with balloon and a note. I had time to be picked up by 1230. I usually like to be early so I got there at 1225. I rung the bell since no one was out in front. The guy came out and asked how he could help me. I just told him i am here for a pickup. He said to wait another 5 minutes because they weren't done yet. Reasonable since i was early. I waited in the front room, however it was hot with no air. So i went outside, made a couple phone calls. Went back inside and they still weren't ready. 1230 comes around and still nothing is available. The 5 minutes i was supposed to wait turned into 15. They brought the simple order out but no balloon. I asked them where the balloon was and he had to double check to see if i ordered. I had to wait little more for him to go get that. I was already in a rush because now i am late dropping up my thank you gift. After i dropped off the gift and heading back to work, i realized i never got the card that i ordered as well. MY WIFE RECEIVED NOTHING ON VALENTINE'S DAY! I work for a local Fire Department and would not be home to celebrate our first Valentine's Day as a married couple. I submitted an order on 2/12/11 to have an arrangement sent to my wife's work and informed the lady at the El Camino store in Encinitas (not sure what her name is) she gets off work around 3:30 pm. I fully understand the delivery times are not guaranteed, but when I called the store at 3:30 pm I was informed the arrangement would be at her work in 20 minutes. So my wife stayed and waited. ONE HOUR LATER and still nothing. I called multiple times to speak with someone and the phones continued to go to straight voicemail. Finally, after multiple attempts someone answered. I explained I was told they would be delivered in 20 minutes. The lady on the phone was not only rude but lied about something going out when it was never sent. I told her I wanted a refunded and she said ok and hung up. How am I getting a refund when she doesn't have my information? She could have been talking to anyone. I think this is a poor way to run a business and I am completely unsatisfied with my experience. I would imagine on one of the busiest days of the year, for this business they would prepare adequately. Good customer service is one way to ensure repeat customers and based on my experience I am not one. My wife sat at work until 5 pm and left empty handed. Horrible service...People please do not order from this place. I have ordered edible arrangements in the past and i was very pleased with their service but of course it was a different location. These people did not deliver on time...My boyfriend placed and order for me for valentines day. When the order was placed he was told it would be delivered before 5. That did not happen...i get off work at 5 and they didnt deliver it to me till 8:00. I had to wait 3 hours to get my delivery. And then when i finally got my arrangement it was incomplete. I was suppose to get a Bundle of balloons i got 2..I was suppose to get a bear and i didnt get it i did however get my 2 dozen chocolate covered strawberries. So they didnt deliver on time..the order was incomplete i had to wait 3 hours and they didnt even offer or mention to say anything about refunding the bear. My boyfriend had to call them and ask them to give him a refund. So i must say that my experience with this location was absolutely disappointing and we will never order from you guys again. read more
