Ask the young man for a recommendation for something special for Christmas. He told me they had a really cute mini Christmas tree and helped me make all the delivery arrangements. Then I ask for pine cones on the tree. No problem. Tree was to be delivered this morning. They called to make sure all was correct. The tree was delivered in a timely fashion. I appreciate this kind gesture to make the situation right. See pictures I felt the need to update my review after receiving flowers for Mother's Day. It's only been 3 days and the flowers are dying. When my son Tyler called to let the establishment know about it he spoke to a woman (not Travis) who he said was kind of rude to him. I'm very picky about ordering flowers. I want to know that what I order for friends, family, etc. is *exactly* what they're going to receive. But I'm also very BORED by the selections available from the national floral syndicates (Teleflora, 1-800-FLOWERS, etc.). So, when sending flowers long-distance, I do my homework, find the best florist in the target area and contact them directly to make sure they know exactly what I want. When I first contacted @floral_palette -- whose arrangements are gorgeous, BTW -- to send a birthday bouquet to a very special family friend, I was explicit about the need for there to be a lot of purples (our friend's favorite colors). They were accommodating and assured me it would be done and delivered that same day. When our friend received her arrangement, she was delighted and sent us a photo (first pic). I, however, wasn't as delighted. Where were her PURPLES?! I fired off a nastygram to FP to tell them I was disappointed and wouldn't do business with them again (I'm such a brat). Imagine my surprise when Natalie Maxwell, the owner of @floral_palette, emailed me back, apologized, promised to deliver a super-purple arrangement to our friend the very next day ... then actually followed through and delivered (second pic). This floral shop on the shopping center is gorgeous. It has a small boutique in the front with beautiful fresh flower arrangements. I have only seen artificial versions of some of the ones they had. I have had many flower arrangements sent to me over the years but none of them was like the one from Floral Palette. My son sent the arrangement for my birthday and I was delighted!!! The design included roses,orchids and other flowers with soft gray leaves surrounding them in a lovely vase. Best of all they were so fresh they lasted well over a week and a half. Amazing floral arrangement and excellent customer service ( I suddenly had an Epiphany to order flowers for her the day before her birthday)!!! I called yesterday afternoon from Nevada to order flowers for my sister's birthday who lives in the San Diego area. I looked at the website and there are some beautiful arrangements so when I called, Sherri answered the phone and we worked through a combination of two of the arrangements that were on the website. She said she just got some beautiful different types of flowers in so I went with what she came up with. I talked to my sister today and she was over-the-top thrilled with the flowers and how many different types of flowers were in the arrangement. Well, their floral arrangements are beautiful, but their customer service and attitude could use a little work. I ordered a fall, bold, Halloween bouquet and got one that looked bright and summery. It was beautiful no doubt, but not what I ordered. It was my first time ordering there and I asked the lady checking me out if next time I should ask for specific colors or flowers. She seemed highly offended and asked why, do you not like it, with a scoff. I mentioned well it's beautiful, just not what I ordered. She held up the tag in my face and says it says fall, bright. Personally I don't consider pink and yellow fall, but that's just me. I didn't feel like arguing with her that I never asked for bright, at that point I wanted to just leave. The saving grace was a kind gentleman working behind her said if you don't like it, I can make you another arrangement. Super nice offer, I still just wanted to get out of there. read more

I called and asked and it was NO PROBLEM at all. Not only did they take care of that need but I requested a bouquet full of Pink flowers to help send a little support of her news and they went OVER the TOP and filling my request. Natalie, owner of The Floral Palette is AMAZING!!! We hired Natalie to do the flowers for our wedding in July 2010 at the Scripps Seaside Forum. When we met with Natalie she listened to what we wanted, made suggestions for other flowers that would be in season for our event and worked within our budget.
