I just want to extend my gratitude to an employee/delivery person by the name of Eddy. I ordered a celebratory gift for my friend and immediately realized that she wasn't going to be home to accept it. When you go through the website directly, it takes like 1 business day for them to respond to your cancellation request. Eddy was sent to deliver the order, realized she wasn't home, called me, called her, called his job, basically did everything to make things right. I could tell how determined he was to clear this issue. He ended up having to deliver it the next day and called me with an update. At the end of the day, I know eddy was doing his job, but it was the WAY he did it. Like he cared, like he was determined. My friend appreciated the gift, and was so grateful. Poor overall experience. I placed an order online with EA on Saturday for Sunday delivery which app confirmed could be done. Once I made the payment I received confirmation that they would be delivered on Sunday. Hours are clearly listed on website that they would be open. Unfortunately my mother's birthday tray was not delivered for the party! Very disappointed especially since I was unable to attend this event. Sales person just called this morning, 3 days after I placed order, to ask when could he deliver order and that he was just coming in since they were closed for two days. ‍ A simple courtesy call to say that order could not be placed so I could have made other arrangements would have made a such a difference! Me and my 4 year old son were waiting inside to pickup our order. The lady over the desk was so nice and very helpful throughout the entire process of selecting my arrangement. HOWEVER; as I am waiting with my son, a lady (I am assuming the manager) had the NASTIEST attitude. She walked out front coming from the kitchen raising her voice at me asking what I was waiting for after I told her politely twice that I was being helped by the nice lady at the front desk. She scoffed and walked back in the kitchen and started to yell at her staff belittling them loudly, as they are working and customers were in the front. Went here on December 5,2020 to redeem a birthday treat. Location: Off of Little Neck Pkwy and Union Tpke. On the weekdays& weekend you can take the Q46 here. During the week the Q36 stops a minute away. The interior of the store is very spacious which is not what I expected. This store is Kosher certified! Service: The person who served me was very helpful. The order is made when you pick it up so the fruit is fresh! I was wished a happy bday as I left which really made my day- December birthdays are the worst! Quality of Product: The treat includes 4 of three types of chocolate covered fruits: Strawberries, Pineapple and Granny Smith Apples. I shared with my husband because I was feeling charitable (must be due to the holiday season) so I didn't get to fully experience all 12 pieces. What I did have was delicious and makes me want to go back for more. Overall: I will happily be back here when I want to get an edible arrangement in person versus online. I love Edible Arrangements. Price is not cheap but for friends you are in debt for doing such incredible thing for you, price is never an issue . Ordered my fruits through online. Little disappointed of their discount promotion , can be applied for next order. I applied for their rewards membership. I placed my order and scheduled on the pick up time convenient to me and comes in every half hour increments. I was 5 minutes early to the store A door bell announced my entry and the associate came from the back room to assist me. It was ready. I was surprised that they just verify my name and phone number and hand the order to me just like that. No order receipt was asked nor pick up receipt was presented. It is a small store which fits to be called a pick up branch. Samples are displayed. Since nobody around, she allowed me to looked and enjoyed the place but left it all to myself and went to the back room. I might looked like a person that can be trusted. Great store! I ordered a congratulatory fruit bouquet for my fiancée. The items all came perfectly as advertised, and the customer service was fantastic. The woman in the store who helped me over the phone was great, and Eddie called me before coming by to make the delivery to make sure that he was coming at a time that worked for me and he was incredibly friendly and helpful. I enjoy going to this edible arrangements location because they are quite helpful here. This location is very clean as well, which is a delight when you are dealing with food items and the public. I came in to this location because I had been procrastinating on getting my mother a birthday gift and it had now turned into a belated birthday gift. As soon as I came in a young lady came immediately came from the back to help me, I told her I really didn't know what I was looking for and I saw one arrangement that caught my eye but she explained that it was a pick up order for somone.. she happily offered to take another arrangement like it and dip it in chocolate for me at an additional $10 if I was willing to wait. I happily agreed. I then remembered that there was a promotional order for free 12-count dipped strawberries and I wanted to know if I could get that for free since I was spending over the $50 required minimum amount... she agreed and we tried to activate it online but it wasn't working, so she agreed that we both knew it was a promo and just allowed me to pay for the arrangement, dip it and give me the promo box of strawberries without further hassle. She took approximately 10+ mins to arrange everything and I was on my merry way. Will definitely return. I have never had a bad experience here as others have mentioned (maybe a little awkward, if that) but this one visit in particular was a very enjoyable one. I'm sure my gift will be appreciated. Worst customer service ever!!! Unbelievable experience! You would think that for the holidays they would be stocked and approachable, instead they drown with their below mediocre service! I went in the store which was empty like usual, (staff behind the kitchen doors)took a small bouquet to purchase and brought it to the counter, once there and woman from behind the doors came out, did not great me and immediately pointed to the tag on the bouquet which said someone's name "Jeffrey griffin" something along those lines. Proceed to just say, this is someone's pickup! I apologized and ask do you have any available to take now? She coley responded no, place an order. ( mind you they always have a few in the fridge which they did, but I didn't want to look trough all of them when she could have easily said if there were any available. Did not offer any other alternative and seemed bothered to even have a customer there. What people fail to understand is that, if you aren't polite of helpful to customers, they won't come, and at the end of the day without customers there is no money and of course no revenue, no job, no store. However yesterday while stopping in after work I wanted to grab something for a loved one that is recovering from surgery. Not really sure what I wanted the young lady Catema took her time showing me what they had prepared and what she could arrange for me. I'm an indecisive person. Sometimes I can't even deal with myself, but Catema has so much patience! She was extremely informative and gave me so many options. I ordered a box last week for a friend who was ill.. box of Their fruit is spoiled, chocolate had condensation & looked melted. Strawberries had mold inside. I called & spoke to rude person on phone who told me the manager would need to get back to me about my concerns. Waited 3 days to hear back from The manager named Trisha was rude & very reluctant to give me a refund after I expressed my displeasure. Used this location for the first time as my regular store on Jericho turnpike closed down. Their service was prompt and effective. The woman that assisted me when I went to pick up my order seemed like she was a hard worker and she was really busy. However, she did take the time to get my order from the refrigerator. She was very pleasant to deal with first thing in the morning. They are in a great location and parking is not an issue. I didn't try the strawberries that I ordered but the recepient hasn't complained so I'm assuming it was great just as my service was. Although I have ordered arrangements from this location a number of times and was pleased, my review is based on an experience regarding community involvement. I requested a donation from this location for a fundraiser that affected our community. Many other commercial establishments in the area were more than happy to give an item to be raffled off. We lose so many locally owned stores to these corporations so I was really hoping the owner of this franchise would have actually taken a look at the event and what is was all about. Needless to say when I called inquiring about at least getting an answer to my request I was told the manager didn't have time to look at the event. And this was over a week later. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. Something I didn't like...I picked up my order and an older man came in and pointed to my arrangement and asked the worker :"How much would something like that cost?" I've visited this location last holiday and the service was absolutely terrible, lack luster, and nothing worthy of commenting. I recently visited this location in July after the 4th and had to go back last weekend because of Tamiko. I guess she is the new manager because it appears she did everything. She was a breath of fresh air. She is informative and actually very helpful. She was friendly and actually appeared interested in working as opposed to others in the store who seemed more concerned with their appearance or what was trending on the web. Tamiko was able to assit me all while answering phones, assisting other customers, and directing her employees. She never made me feel rushed and was able to give each person her attention which can be overwhelming. But she did it with a level of grace and professionalism. Tamiko definitely made the entire experience worth while. I've referred not only family and friends but my clients to this location but instructed them to ask for Tamiko. read more

One of the worse experiences. I've ordered from edible arrangements for years. Their arrangements, though pricey is not only lovely but just healthy for you. I placed the order for delivery on Friday for the youth Leader at my daughter's youth group. After submitting the order along with specific instructions that it be delivered within a certain time-frame, I then called to confirm if this was even possible, willing to cancel the order if not. The owner/manager Trish/a said that they do not work in a particular time-frame so I decided to go ahead and cancel the order. However, Trish/a changed her mind and made an executive decision promising that she will work within the time-frame allotted, probably because the arrangement was over one hundred dollars. Nevertheless, I again confirmed the time period and they again gave their word. Not only was it NOT delivered on time, they totally FORGOT about my order entirely, until I called them two hours after the time period!!! I was totally disappointed. Furthermore, because I was on the phone with the Trish/a for soo long trying to figure out where my arrangement was ...I missed my daughter's Mother's Day recital and my younger daughter in the commotion following me to the back where I can figure things out, got her finger caught in the door!! The whole situation was extremely frustrating, a product of mismanagement and false promises for profit. The true beauty and experience of an edible arrangement is only as good as the people managing it and how they manage it makes a difference in the experience altogether. After talking to the manager/owner about the experience she reflected on what she will be doing moving forward with her staff. Not necessarily trying to rectify the wrong judgment and the frustration that incurred about the inabilities of her franchise. A box of strawberries will never replace the missed moments of my daughter's recital. I WILL NOT ever use this particular store again for any of my arrangement needs. Woodmere's owners/managers or even Fresh Meadows may be less greeedy and more professional, who knows?? but it's worth a try. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more
