If I could give them 0 stars I would! Terrible experience do not order from here! An order was sent to me for Valentine's Day. It was supposed to be a fruit arrangement with chocolate on it and a red velvet cake. The cake was never delivered and the fruit didn't have chocolate on it. I tried reaching out to the location MULTIPLE times that day to have them send the cake or to refund for the cake and no one was answering the phone. I called again the next day (Sunday) and I believe it was the manager I spoke to and she stated they only receive 5 red velvet cakes a day? Which makes no sense because if 6 people order a red velvet cake online then the 6th person won't get the cake even though they paid for it? The person I spoke with offered to have a red velvet cake sent the next day (Monday) and I accepted the offer. Then I get a call on Monday evening from a employee I missed their call but they left a voicemail stating the person who delivers their cakes to their location didn't deliver the cakes so they won't be able to send me a cake AGAIN. They offered to send another cake the next day or to give me a refund. I tried returning their call 5 minutes after they called and no one answered the phone so I tried calling again on Tuesday. The person I spoke to on Tuesday stated in order for us to get a refund we would have to reach out to corporate and I was given the number for corporate from the employee. I called the number that was given to me and it directed me back to the location. After explaining to the 2nd person I spoke to from their location what was going on she spoke to the manager and per the employee their manager stated they would be able to refund the money but it will take 7-10 days. It has been over 2 weeks and the money has not been refunded so I called the location for an update. I spoke to an employee who was being very kind. She stated the manager is not able to refund the order so I requested to speak to the manager. The manager then stated that the cake was delivered when they tried to send me a cake on Monday and I had to correct her because it definitely was not and I have the voicemail from the employee as proof that it was not delivered. The manager then continued to tell me she won't be able to refund the money because the order was made online and not in store. I asked the manager why would the employee tell me the order was going to be refunded by the manager and now it's not? Per the manager they have new employees and it's "their first holiday working there" if an employee messed up they should've tried reaching out to me to make me aware the manager was not going to be able to refund the money instead of having us thinking they were going to fix the issue. I've tried reaching corporate through their website since February 14th and no one has responded to me. The manager was not helpful at all! She just advised for us to try to dispute it through the bank instead of actually acting like a manager and trying to help solve the problems they caused. I was being very kind and patient. I tried to be as understanding as possible but they are very unprofessional. Save yourself a headache and do not order from here! read more

Spoke to 2 associates then owner. Was given misinformation regarding same day deliveries. When I spoke to owner - Linda - I was told that she didn't know what I had "thought I heard" but she was flip and could care less about losing a customer. I told her I was happy business was that food she could turn away business. I don't think any independent business owner should have this flip attitude. I will be spending my monies elsewhere. I used to believe this was a cool idea, but most likely a waste. How much fruit can one person eat at a time anyway, right? While I had been tempted to order from them in the past, I never thought it was really worth the money. But when you think about the cost of cut flowers... well, I guess it's not so bad after all. Although, it's probably best for real fruit lovers. I was gifted two of these recently and they were both very lovely. I loved it and my kids loved it too. The first was a smaller arrangement and didn't last very long at all. The fruit was delicious, and the arrangement was adorable. It was half eaten before I thought to take a picture. Fresh fruit neatly arranged on sticks? It's perfect! We loved the first so much that I was gifted a second much larger arrangement this week lol. Do not order from the location in Mesquite Texas. They will say they have delivered and have not. Then when you request a refund, they refuse and want to send out another bouquet. They send the new bouquet which has fruit that is less than favorable. You again request a refund and they refuse and want to give you a credit. When you explain you don't live in that area and only order for this individual. They are not able to transfer this credit to any other location so again want to send a store credit. There is no favorable agreements so you as the customer have to settle for a new bouquet. I will never order from that store. Every other store I have ordered from has been spectacular including Oak Park, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Chicago. read more

I went there because I saw a green smoothie in the window. This was Saturday May 11, 2019. Neither of the women worked there knew how to make the green smoothie. Smh after taking 10 minutes to figure out what goes in a strawberry - banana - kale smoothie, They handed me something that was not completely mixed. There were still whole fruit and full leaves of kale and it was yellow and They kept saying "it's thick because there's kale" it wasn't even drinkable, I threw it away. I like the company as a whole. However, I would NEVER use this location again nor would I EVER recommend it to anyone. I had three issues with my order: 1: I called to check the status on my order and the employee I spoke to was curt. 2: I ordered an arrangement in a water can and received it in a vase. I was told later upon inquiry that the vase and watering can were interchangeable and that there is a notation on the web that says such. Now, it is true that there is a notation that says "the container my vary" I thought that notation meant that there might be a variance in the type of watering can displayed - design, color, etc. Not that I would be arbitrarily given another vase, regardless of what I ordered. Why give customers the option then? 3: This was the biggest issue - the fruit wasn't fully ripe. A lot of it was hard and wasn't sweet. Completely unacceptable, especially for a $80 arrangement. When I brought this to the manager's (Edna, if I'm not mistaken) attention, via a phone conversation, she told me that they use "top of the line fruit" and that "it's all a matter of taste. Some people prefer fruit sweeter and some don't." She explained that the fruit is sampled everyday so there wasn't much she could say about that issue. I think that's ABSURD and ASININE. Regardless of your "preference" everyone knows how a ripe, sweet strawberry should taste. Everyone knows how a piece of ripe, sweet cantaloupe should taste. I've had edible arrangements before (from other locations) and the thing that's always amazed me is how consistently fresh and ripe, perfect really, the fruit was. That's why I ordered! In the end, the manager offered to made another arrangement but informed me that the arrangement would be made using fruit from the same vendor. So, the quality of the fruit will be the same and I'm right back to where I started. That's not a real solution at all. That was, dismissively, offered to placate me. Honestly, why would I want another arrangement from THIS location when I've already had issues??? Overall, I was underwhelmed by the service and the product. What was supposed to be a really thoughtful Mother's Day gift has been a regrettable experience all around. I would recommend the company, but I suggest that you choose another location and save yourself the time, frustration and money. read more

I really like this place. This is the first time placing an order with this Oak Park location so I didn't know what to expect. The day I place my order I was attending a seminar and was running late to pick my order up on a Sunday. I arrived a few minutes after closing and thank goodness the doors were still unlocked! I phone before just to let them know I was running about 5 mins. After closing so I'm not sure if that's why I was lucky to have made it to pick my order up or not but this business will get my business again for that first impression and the brownie points I received from my significant other. Oh my god I absolutely love them. I made it to the store with only 5 minutes to spare before closing time. Walked in and told them what I wanted and if they could make it happen for me. They told me "ma'am you know we closing in five mins" I said I know I'm sorry to bother you guys but I'm really in need of something...they let me stay and we figured something out really quick it only took 15 mins due to the fact I had everything dipped in chocolate. In so little time given, when I received my arrangement it was so amazing. I thank them over and over. Over the past years I have ordered from several Edible Arrangement locations, Oak Park, Lombard, South Suburbs, Wheaton and the last one that I will ever order anything from again located on Taylor Street in Chicago. I have been sending fruit arrangements for a long time, when you get a fresh one they are wonderful, but over the past 2 years everyone that I have ordered has had a problem with either the fruit or the fruit and the delivery.To pay $55.00 for a few pieces of fruit plus delivery and have the fruit become mushy and moldy the day after it was delivered is ridiculous. Or not have your order delivered when you requested is horrible. Especially for what they cost. And to have the main corporate office do absolutely nothing about your complaints is even worse. My mother-in-law had to dig the bad mushy fruit out of her garbage can for them to pick it up, only to not show up in order for me to receive a refund. I was livid.There are floral shops that do fruit arrangements just check the internet, that's what I am planning on doing the next time I choose to send someone a fruit basket.
