It showed up three days late, and as you can see from the picture, complete garbage. I called the CS number on the card, and it is a bogus number. I asked for chocolate covered strawberries over the phone, I told the staff this and they just said "sorry we didn't know" and there was no offer to try and fix the mistake, it became a very awkward moment, I had bought a box of chocolate covered strawberries and went out to my car and fixed the arrangement myself. The fresh Strawberries where not ripe and are as big as the grapes. On the plus side stick to the chocolate covered strawberries in a box they were yummy, I Hope your experience is better then mine. read more

If I would of known the $70+ order I placed was going to come out like this, I would of saved the money & had my 3 year old nephew Apollo do the job instead! Story time! I placed an online order on April 23rd for my adopt a senior's intended graduation date, June 6th. It was a delivery for a choc fruit platter (first image). Then I had called back about a week later to make some changes because I was informed my graduate wasn't a fan of chocolate. At first, I wanted to change the order entirely but the woman on the phone assured me that they could recreate it without the chocolate, no problem. & they even refunded me for the choc price, I was thrilled! Then the second image was sent to me. Initially, I tried really hard to justify it. Maybe I was just being nit-picky? But then I asked a friend , because I know she use to work at a separate location. & to put it nicely, that would of never been put out for delivery where she had worked. Many people who have seen the image have suggested I be refunded. So I reached out to customer service & woman from the this location by the name of Alyssa called me. She asked me to send her an image of what was delivered, & after viewing the second image & hearing how upset I was with the presentation as a whole she argued. & here are some of the things that she said/my thoughts on them- 1. "I'm here everyday, & I see all the deliveries that go out" Ok, so you thought this was acceptable? Got it. 2. "I'm not understanding. Did she not like it? Did she eat it? Did she complain?" I'm sure she ate most of it, with the exception of the hard pineapple cores & poor quality strawberries. & no she didn't complain. Do you complain when someone gives you a gift? 3. "The photos online are photographed professionally & used for marketing. & It's a fairly new tray for us. We tried our best & we did it custom for you" Then don't try to make & sell them for profit! You are adults, & you should be producing quality work, not just "trying your best". I was fine changing the order entirely but I was assured it could be done without choc. I never asked for a custom order, you offered! 4. "Would you like us to try to remake it for her?" She already graduated, it was sent as a surprise. It's a little late, don't ya think? 5. "The numbers look like that because there is no chocolate on them" Nope, that's a lie! Maureen can also confirm that those were cut with the wrong tool & are definitely hard! I really hope you aren't covering cores with chocolate for people to bite into. Yuck 6. "I stand by the quality & freshness of our fruit. I just don't know what else I could do for you" After that I told her that if that's how she truly felt & there was nothing she could do for me, she should have no problem with me sharing this story & the photos. read more

I received an Easter basket from my sister. Unfortunately I did not know it had been delivered. I didn't hear the door bell, I happened to be going out around 4pm and seen the arrangement near my door in the sun (glad it wasn't to HOT). I don't know how long it had been sitting, the chocolate was a little melted and there was a lot of condensation in the bag. I immediately brought it in, opened it and placed it in the fridge. My husband asked if they had called me and I said NO, they don't have my number. Well the tag had my cell number on it. I suppose because of COVID19 currently they are to leave it near the door, they could have called and said hey FYI. The arrangement is DELICIOUS regardless, some of the fruit seemed squishy is some places. I don't know if some of the fruit was over ripened or it's because of the time it was in the sun. When I called, I was informed it was out for delivery and it would be delivered in next 1hr. As at 5pm order was still not delivered. This was meant to be a birthday surprise delivery and I could not imagine how a celebrant would be receiving cakes and flowers late in the day. I absolutely LOVE Edible Arrangements, and have ordered from many different stores depending on where the recipients live and will continue to (except for this location).... I'm not one to complain either but I was very aggravated by this place. Last week was my Dad's birthday so I ordered from this particular store because it was what came up when I put in his zip code. Well his birthday came and went and the arrangement was not delivered. I went on to the website and it still said "Pending." I sent an email asking what the status was. I received an email back advising that they had sent me an email yesterday letting me know they did not deliver to my Dad's area. Um.... no they didn't... I receive all of my emails on my phone which sits right next to me all day at work and I never received one email... I checked my trash box and junk mail box and guess what... no email! I sent back an email advising that I had never received their email and that I would not be using their services in the future. If I had known they could not deliver to his area, which is in the same county, I would have ordered something else to be delivered to him! I said that I should have been notified immediately if they did not deliver to this area.... is it too much to pick up the phone and call your customer? Instead of an apology or some kind of acknowledgment that no, they had not notified me, I instead receive a rude email back from the owner of this place Leslie stating "This email was sent to you at 11:40AM (um no it was not)... check your email and no were on our website does it say we deliver to Brownsvalley... this is not our error. We responded to you as soon as we got the order (nope you didn't).. when you placed it on the website, we respond VIA EMAIL." Yep, caps and all. Great way to do business. read more

For starters they sure know how to take care of their customers. I had called about a small complaint and the owner, Leslie, was incredibly friendly and apologetic. Since I have received and sent orders through them flawlessly before, I simply called just to inform her of the mishap. She offered me basically anything she could to make me happy. She was fantastic. I told her that I didn't want anything, and just wanted to give her the courtesy of knowing. Well, she generously surprised me with an apology! Which I feel is completely unnecessary, however, who is seriously going to argue with chocolate dipped fruit! Thank you, Leslie! Moral of the story: People are human, and things happen. I have to say that in the past I didn't have great experience with the owners but now that they are under new ownership I couldn't be happier! I told them about my past experience and how I had paid for delivery and they called the recipient and asked her to come get her arrangement. The new owners apologized even though they had nothing to apologize for. They made it up just to show how customer service should be and how much they truly care about their shop. She continues to state She made the refund and it must me an issue with my bank. I've contacted my bank and there is no refund. I went online to figure out which arrangement would work best for my grandfather's birthday and was excited to see the large banner on the website stating that I still had over an hour to place an order for same day delivery....yay!! Once I figured out my order I called the yuba city store and started to place my order when the girl on the phone rudely and sharply responded that it was too late for any more deliveries. I told her about what was stated on the website and asked if she would honor it, should quickly responded "NO!" ....so I contacted the corporate office who apologized for her behavior but said there was nothing they could do. If stores are allowed to set deliever cut off times on their own then what is the point of having an ad online that states something misleading and different? AND let's be honest, Yuba City is not that large of a place, I spoke with two different people from the store and wonder why one of them could have made the delivery which was less than 5 mins away from their store. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store! I went into the store the other day to place an order on my lunch break for my 8th wedding anniversary and was very impressed with the customer service I received. I picked my arrangement and was quoted 30 minutes for them to complete it. They had it done in just over 15 minutes and I was back to work before my lunch break was over!
