    Peaches!

Bock's Fruit Stand is right alongside Highway 70 in Marysville. Marysville is a rural farming town with lots of orchards. Lots of little fruit stands. Ya! Bock's fruit stand is a simple open wall stand on a big gravel dirt lot. Currently in season, they have peaches, plums, nectarines, strawberries, tomatoes...everything looked gorgeous and fresh. Picture perfect ready. All the stone fruit was $2.25 a pound, $10 half flat, and $18 full flat). They also sell local honey and bagged flavor nuts, look for them on the back wall. I bought a basket of strawberries ($3) and plums. Both were sweet and delicious. Heavenly. The gal working was so darn knowledgeable. She knew her varieties. And she was always moving, cleaning and organizing when not engaging with the customers. Awesome considering it's hot out there. Kudos to her! Bock's Fruit has a website and is on Facebook. Www.bocksfruit.com. Since the fruit stand is only open seasonally, the hours of operation will vary. I recommend accessing their sites for the full deets. #BocksFruitInMarysville #BocksFruitStandPeaches

Nice little fruit stand off the side of the highway. Arrived late afternoon and it appeared a lot of the produce was sold. Grabbed a few peaches and cherries. They also have onions, garlic, squash, local honey, bee pollen, honeycomb, etc.

Away a please to stop by. Today we were on a quest for getting veggies for the football party we…read morewere attending that afternoon. We found a little bag of carrots and some Mandarins to bring. I pre pealed the mandarins before the party so they were easy to much on and it was a success. We also got some kiwis. I belive it was a bag of 6 for $0.99. A great deal for kiwis. Last time I got them and saved them in the fridge and they lasted a week. These are a bit soft so hopefully they will last just as long. We also got a head of Lettuce for under $2 which is a good deal. It's nice and fresh, we got iceberg this time and it was a big head. Last time we got green leaf and the time before that we got the red leaf. All very fresh. Parking was easy. When we arrived maybe when we got there we saw 5 cars in the parking lot so we got a space right up front. When we left it over doubled, it was still easy to get out. Traffic flows well. Bathrooms were well stocked and clean. It's always a must stop on our journey. Pedrick Produce is the place to stop for produce and dry goods.

It's a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth a stop to stretch your legs and grab a quick bite before jumping back on the road for the rest of a long drive. And as a bonus, they've got a great collection of hot sauces. BB
