The Dennis rep on the phone was extremely pleasant and helpful. He mentioned it would be best to return the items to the store rather than ship it due to the hefty shipping charges from Hawaii. So here I am! You wouldn't think I'd be giving 5 stars for my experience. The shopping center is in a dense area on Nimitz Hwy, the store itself was tricky to find, and the line for all transactions wrapped around the store (all of their registers were broken except for ONE). The wait time was 25 minutes. I had my 4-year old son in tow and thought to myself, "This is gonna be fun." So why the 5 stars? It's all in the CUSTOMER SERVICE. As I walked in, immediately a sales attendant apologized and informed me that only one register is working. Navigating deeper into the store at the end of the line, a second sales attendant smiled and also apologized with a friendly, "We're so sorry, but we'll be with you shortly." Then the best service came from the Store Manager, Shirly. Seeing my son waiting patiently in line with his iPad, Shirly asked me, "Would your son like a bag of chips? Is that okay with you, Mom?" I was floored. What a generous and completely unexpected offer! My son's eyes lit up and he happily munched on his Lays chips as the line got shorter and shorter. What a great way to pass the time and turn lemons into lemonade! The return process was flawlessly easy. I brought the receipt, so I didn't need to provide my credit card. The account was automatically credited! Thank you to Shirly and the wonderful staff for such a positive experience despite the unfortunate setback. I will gladly let all my fellow Yelpers know about this true gem in the heart of Honolulu.

When entering no smile, no greeting at all. She gives customers a look like "What is it now?" First time I bought in store. I had washed the dri-fit shirts only a few times and on just one of the shirts, the seams were unraveling and there was a hole. Instead of hemming it myself, I took the shirt in, showed them and asked if I could get a new one. The worker asked me how many times I washed the shirt and if my washing machine has an agitator. I told her I had a front loader with no agitator and the shirt had been washed only three times. I was given a new dri-fit with no issues. Second occasion, I bought dri-fit shirts and they only been washed twice this time and it was already unraveling. I brought in just one shirt again and showed the worker. She had asked how many times the shirt was washed. When I told her twice, she just looked at me and said "Ohhh, uhhh ok, I guess I can give you another one." Yes, you are! The quality of the dri-fit shirts are cheap, so yes, I would like another one. Thank you! I didn't appreciate the worker making me feel like I'm not allowed to bring in the shirt if there's issues. What was I suppose to do? Just throw it away? It didn't even make it to a third wash. She also needs an attitude adjustment. You shouldn't be working in retail and with customers if you don't know how to be friendly! This company should really think about using better quality dri-fit material. It would cost more but I'm sure people would still buy it because it's cooler for kids to wear.
