In the past have shopped here. Selection not that great, but try to support local businesses. Bought a couple of scrubs here a few days ago. Tried to exchange one top 3 days after purchased because the fabric unraveled (defective). Person at check out said to get a replacement off the rack. None on racks and no back stock so now the manager (? Older woman) comes out from the back and says no exchanges even if defective because it was washed! I understand if we had worn it, but why is it our fault that it of poor quality? We were NOT asking for a refund. We had the receipt and tags and were willing to wait for a replacement. Just saying...buyer beware & make sure you thoroughly inspect before purchasing or order from an online company so you can return or exchange if defective. Beware, don't ever come here because the people are so disrespectful! I wish I could give this place zero stars. The worst customer service. I went in to buy a pair of scrub pants and they were not friendly, would not help me to find anything and only spoke to each other. Now I tried to return the pants because they did not fit and they were so rude about it. Saying, did you read our return policy 3 times to me. The manager or owner didn't even have the respect to speak to me, even though they were 5 feet away. Does "in same condition as when purchased" mean all the factory tags must be on it? I thought it meant that the pants must not be dirty or worn, and I have the receipt, plus it is not past the 30 days. They wouldn't even let me exchange it for a smaller size. All the woman could say was "did you try it on?" and read our return policy next time, which was the 4th time she said it. How rude! I am calling my credit company to try and get a refund on these $41 pants that don't fit me and are now useless. Don't ever go here, just wait for Amazon to ship you a pair of scrubs!!! read more

I have been coming to this store for almost a decade and not much has changed. To start, yes, it is best to park on the Costco side of Dole Cannery. They have minimal hours (especially for people like me who work in the health care profession on a normal shift). I live in Ewa so my only option is to come into town on a Saturday - not many of us like to do that! I try to only shop here if I am in need of new scrubs ASAP as their prices are pretty high. A set (a top and pants) will generally cost you $100. I usually order my scrubs online from the likes of Amazon, VAC, or any other medical apparel site. So, in a bind, this place is a godsend. Although they do have a large variety of brands and colors, all the high-end brands that I like tend to not be stocked with regular length pants. All their high- end pants are petite. I know most ethnicities on this island are generally on the shorter side, I am an exception and don't like to walk around looking like I am wading through water. I wish they were a little more inclusive of those of us who don't particularly fit their mold. The customer service is hit or miss. Sometimes I don't even know who actually works there as they don't wear name tags and a lot of times are wearing short shorts and camisoles. They also cater to professions other than medical such as police, fire, etc. They do embroidery. They can order something for you if they do not have it in stock. That's my 2 cents. read more

This place is great because I was looking for uniforms but then there is a lot of uniform that is not displayed or available on the floor. Most of the uniforms are in the back so if you are looking for a specific type of uniform, you have to talk to the Association or the employees behind the counter because if you don't see that uniform most likely, they have it but it's not on the floor for you to browse for the general public. Some uniforms are exclusive like I believe if you are like a first responder, or in a critical job environment, where your uniform is unique to your agency, they have that uniform majority of the time is in the backstock. The value is really pricey, but if you consider shipping and handling if you were to buy it on the Internet, it's basically the same thing but the only difference is you don't have to wait for shipping to have it right there because it's in stock for them. read more

I have heard of this place through numerous coworkers and friends in the medical field. I dont usually come to town but since I had to get my car serviced, I was somewhat in the area. Reading other Yelp reviews, I parked on the Costco side. Upon entering I was immediately greeted. I think I went through every single rack twice....they have a decent selection of various brands such as koi, wonderwink, jockey, and greys anatomy just to name a few. The only thing that I thought was a bummer was the fact that most of the bottoms were wide legged. No skinny pants or jogger options available. When I asked the associate, she mentioned that they did have a bunch of joggers before, but it didnt sell. I didnt come all this way and not leave with anything....so I came home with 2 sets of scrubs and a jacket. I believe it came up to just under $100 so it wasn't so bad. Not only do they just have medical scrubs, they also have lab coats, jackets, restaurant/chef coats, and supplies such as lanyards and badge holders. There is something for everyone! read more

I havent been to any uniform stores so I really dont have anything to compare them to but I did read some yelp reviews about the place. Some of them were right. I did feel like I was being watched the whole time! The atmosphere seems awkward because it feels like youre in a store where the employees DONT want to be there. My wife walked around for a while and I followed her and not one time did anyone ask if we needed any help and there were 3 of them there, I think. The whole situation was just too weird so I went outside and let her walk around and look. As far as pricing, its actually quite pricey compared to online stores that sell the same items. Needless to say, we left the store without a purchase and instead, my wife bought stuff online for $300 and probably got twice as many scrubs that she would have gotten had she purchased them at Uniforms Hawaii. read more

The two women working were really helpful and nice. They greeted me when I entered the store, they made sure I knew of a sale that was going on, and asked if I wanted to try on anything. I had to deduct a star from the rating because they didn't have too much selection for XXS size tops and bottoms. This review is only for the service received as they offer a variety of uniforms of quality. We walked in at 7 minutes before closing. We knew what we needed just needed to be directed to it. We were greeted with "We close in 5 minutes" not a friendly hello or welcome. We were led to the specific brand just needed to find a certain size. The lady at the front counter yelled from across the store "Found what you needed?!!" Everything she said to us was rushed. As we proceeded to purchase our item they turned off the lights so we were literally at the cashier in the dark. In the process of handing us our purchase she tells another girl "Lock the door". We weren't inconsiderately taking our time browsing we were keeping in mind they wanted to leave; and we didn't take long at all. Mind you a pair of Dickies aren't cheap especially here; it's a shame they chose to treat us this way and lose potential customers. read more

I do advise you use Costco's parking lot. What I love most about this store is because they have XXS scrub bottoms!! I don't need to hem the bottom of my scrubs no more! My mom told me about this place and Ive been wanting to get a couple nice Hawaiian scrubs tops (which they have a great selection here) They have a great wide selection of uniforms for medical workers and really great customer services. HYPES: Easy to find, easy to park, ladies working there were really sweet! 75% of the store caters to women with a wide array of patterns, colors and styles. GRIPES: 25% of the store (if that) for men. Wayyyy less colors, styles and no patterns. (There was 1 random Mickey Mouse pattern in the men's section) it's kind of disappointing that the selection for men is so minimal. C'mon yall, the men need love, too! Also, it's quite pricy here! Came here today for a lab coat. I don't understand why people think this place is so expensive. The prices seemed reasonable, even compared to the limited junk on Amazon. I found some nice lab coats online, but with shipping to Hawaii, they were nearly double the original price! I was greeted when I walked in, and when I asked for help, they gave me their opinion. Here, if you ask, you shall receive. I called before coming in to ask where in the Dole Cannery they were located, and I was advised to park at the Costco side. Simple! Walked right into the mall and the store was directly ahead on the left. This isn't a luxury store where the associates hover over you and periodically ask if you need help. They're not commissioned salespeople, and they don't read minds. They never came across as rude (at least to me). Very happy with my purchase. read more

#33/365 This place is a one stop shop for all your uniform and basic medical supply needs (mostly for nurses). They have good variety of scrubs, ranging from generic brands to brands like dixie. They also have medical equipment like blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes and even little bags/pouches to carry your supplies. They have all kinds of colors and patterns for you to choose from. It is kind of pricey for something as simple as scrubs, which are usually pricey anyway, and being that there's not many places to get scrubs on the island, its not too bad at all. Went to uniforms Hawaii yesterday. Brother n I needed scrubs for our work. Lots of selections. However the staff could be a little more welcoming and more helpful. It's a little pricey. They do hem your pants if u need too and will call you when it's done. It is 12 dollars a pants to hem. Just fyi. However I love the uniforms and it has other medical accessories and shoes. However just wish the staff was a little more welcoming and friendly. After all we are in the medical field. Lol.... I will go there every time for more scrubs tho. :) regardless. read more

I love that there's scrubs available, but the prices are insanely expensive. Another negative of this store is the bad customer service. The staff are rude and not friendly. I know we went there one hour before closing and we were buying customers. But they rushed us to hurry up with our purchase, looked at us with glaring eyes, and I heard one of the girls say under her breath, "hurry up people I want to go home". I only go here because it's where the company gets our uniforms from but I think the company can do a lot better. I'm surprised HFD uses these guys. It takes forever for us to get our uniforms back. When I went in to get fitted for my pants the lady asked me to take my shoes off, I've always fitted pants with my shoes on and especially since I wear boots on duty I thought that was a little odd. The service while you are there is good but the wait and quality is not the best. One of beat partners wanted a longer shirt so instead of redoing new uniform tops all they did was cut a piece of the same color material and sew it on to the bottom of his top. I thought that was a very poor alteration, and I've heard from some of the other guys that they've gotten their pants back and one leg is longer than the other, when they told me that I couldn't believe that. Bottom line good service, not the best alterations and turnaround takes forever. read more

My daughter had to get her scrubs from here for her MA schooling. On the 3rd day of using her scrub pants it started ripping down her leg. Now she has to get the same pants again because it was defective but they won't take it back because it was worn. First of all I really like to say that the staff here at uniforms hawaii is very awesome. They greeted me when I walked in, they asked if I needed any help, pointed me in the direction and assisted when I couldn't find the item I needed. The staff let me try on the items, they informed me about items that weren't available and when I could expect them in. They all seem very organized, they assisted me with the alterations which I must say was a very quick turn around. When it was time to pay they provided great customer service by always asking if everything was ok, if I found what I needed etc...just overall a great experience. For being the only scrub store around, they have a pretty good selection. Sadly, like all of the other places that have any scrubs, the cute XS and S sizes run out fast. The prices here are kind of steep though. If you want any kind of print, the cheapest I saw (besides clearance ones) were $22.95 for the Hawaiian Designs. The Disney, Hello Kitty, and other brand names go for around $35 or more. I wish the store hours were more convenient for people who work at doctors/dentist offices. They open from 9-5 Monday through Friday and 9-4 on Saturday. All of the times I work, unless I decide to take the bus down there on my day off, like I did today. read more
