Every time I come to Waikele premium outlets, I always make sure that I stop by Sunglass Hut as they have great deals and the staff there is super friendly and super helpful. Manager Blake always takes care of me and his other customers and that's what keeps us (especially me) coming back. I have probably bought more glasses at this particular store then anywhere else in the US combined as I enjoy coming here just to see what's new and to just talk story at times. Deals are good, but for me it is all about customer service, do that well and I and return everytime.

The selection of glasses are predominantly thick, big plastic frames. Most are way too big for my…read moreface. There's always a turnover of technicians. Some know what they're doing but most don't. My glasses are always slipping down my nose, yet none of the technicians have been able to solve this problem. One overdid it so badly that she warped my frames--Costco had to replace them free of charge. I tried to get smaller frames, but they didn't have much to choose from. They are not cheap and they keep pushing for the progressive lenses that darken/lighten. Glasses don't last more than 5 years before the coating they put on your lenses starts to flake off. When I asked them not to put on the coating, they refused.

I would recommend, but don't want to so that it'll be a shorter wait time next time I need an appt! Hahah.

Turn around time was 2 weeks but I got it less then 2 weeks when they texted it was ready for pickup so I'll be picking up this Saturday which is amazing. I recently started coming to the Waikele area more frequently for Starbucks and Safeway, but I'm…read moreslowly discovering that there is so much more to explore here! I needed to use the restroom, and luckily, they have a public restroom area. When you walk inside, there is also a cute claw machine place, a nursing area, and an ATM, which is really convenient. Today, I finally visited The Cosmetics Company Store, and I loved being able to walk around and enjoy the samples. My friend also stopped at Mr. Cow to enjoy a Korean corn dog. We've already come here several times for Starbucks, and of course, this is also a really nice Safeway. I truly love the Waikele area. I find it to be one of the nicer parts of town because it feels clean, relaxing, and full of different places to shop and eat. You also have some higher end stores like Michael Kors, plus a brand new Miniso! Every time I drive through this area, I automatically feel a little bit fancier. LOL. I could honestly see myself living here one day just because of all the places there are to visit, shop, dine, and relax. It reminds me of why I love Kapolei Commons so much. Since I'm usually in Kapolei, that is still my regular area, but I would definitely love to spend more time exploring Waikele too. There are even food vendor trucks in the back, which is such a huge bonus. I absolutely love Leonard's Malasadas! If you go toward the side where Mr. Cow is located, you can also find Korean food trucks. There are so many places here that I still haven't discovered, so please don't mind me. Doesn't hurt to have it checked even though I don't have any issues. Yet secretly I kind of want glasses but I passed the exam.... had to be honest, I couldn't help it! It was a smooth process, from calling to schedule an appointment, to signing papers and getting the exam. I was still nervous though! I thought I had to get my eyes dilated and experience blurry vision, that's scary! But I guess I didn't need too.. The second reason I came was because I work with multiple computer screens at work, I wanted some blue light glasses. I had some pairs in my Amazon cart, but I just couldn't trust. Doc prescribed me, I tried on multiple frames, found the perfect frame and checked out. But now I have to wait patiently, gritting my teeth, for it to come in! I'm excited!

When you're planning to spend time browsing, not having access to a restroom can really affect the experience, and it cut my visit shorter than I expected. I found a pair of fun green pants and a cute top for work, along with a separate top and a pajama set. I went to the dressing room to try everything on and the attendant was sweet and friendly. I also found some personal care items that I typically use at a lower cost price which is appreciated these days. When checking out, the cashier was friendly and thoughtful. Located in Waikele Premium Outlets all the way in the back as this shop I usually go immediately to the bags and totes section as it's my accessories obsession which then make rounds to the clothing, shoes and sunglasses they have so much here there's lots to see. It is the luck of the moment to find that specific item which I've found on occasion and though we don't have Saks 5th Avenue I'm grateful for the price friendly version of it right here in Hawaii as things can get costly and weather it's for work or play we all do like a bit of bling in our style and Saks Offf 5th can certainly provide that for you in style.
