Tag agencies always stress me out but this was by far the best experience I've had! I called ahead and made an appointment to update my real ID and had the best experience with the woman on the phone. She was so nice and informative. Only one star because I have to! The online calendar is horrific. I read the directions and it still won't allow me to select a time even at 9am on the dot. It wont even let me pick a different date, it's March 11th and the webpage says the 1st. I called because it was the third day that I couldn't select a time and the lady who responded was rude and unprofessional. I tried to explain and she was so rude. She did not assist me and told me to read the instructions on the webpage. I don't recommend. read more

I've been to the tag agency for car registration, to finish my driver's license and for help with work vehicles and received great service every time. This review is about the care Brittany has provided in the last few months. I did not know her or have any affiliation or relationship with her prior to calling for help with some work vehicles. I had a mess of paperwork I inherited, and she helped me go through it over the phone with patience that lasted months--because more things came up and questions happened and she was there with me like a best friend. Did I mention I didn't know her? I think she treats everyone this way! I recently relocated to Texas and needed a copy of my registration--there she was again helping me get a copy so I can register in a new state. If she was going to be rude--this would have been a great chance. But no--there she was for me again. Don't be scared of getting your car business taken care of--this place is great! read more

It's a tag agency. I'm not going to give some amazing rave review lol. But the wait was LONG which is why it got 3 stars. The staff however started off cold and jerky needed up being really funny and sweet and helpful. In and out?! No. Lol. No one ever answers the phone. You can only get a regular ID by making an online appointment that they say they post every morning at 9am. I have checked every morning at 9am and have never seen an available appointment to schedule. I will go everyday in person to beg for an appointment because that seems like my only option. This includes every other tag agency here in Edmond. Gonna try Guthrie next. These regular ID appointments used to take all of ten minutes....seriously do not understand. Every time I go in person there are at least 4 people not doing anything. read more

While you usually only have to come here once a year, the this has been my go to spot the last couple times I needed their services. I was nervous walking in expecting a line as I saw several people walking in before me and this would have been the first time that would have happened...however, the staff were extremely efficient and I waited for just a few minutes! I moved here from CO and was directed to one Tag Agency (not Downtown) that referred me to three different state departments in OKC only to find out that Edmond Downtown Tag Agency could do every service that I was use to receiving in CO. One stop and they were able to handle a change to an OK title and licence tags, wish I had meet them three days earlier. Horrible what they do to some customers. They charged me over $1,500 dollars and said my card was declined due to my bank freezing my account. Went to my bank and couldn't be further from the truth. My bank even said they have this happen to a lot of people from Edmond tag. The transaction went through and I'm less $1,500 but no registration. My bank said it falls on their card machine. Said there's nothing they can do. I get back here and they said I didn't have the money in the account. They asked to see my bank account which I offered to show them and clearly transaction went through but their saying it didn't so now I have to wait for all this to clear up and come back. But oh wait it's a holiday so now I'll go 5 days minimum without my money they caused to get lost. And guess no ones paying me interest. Fuck the system and this place. This is not right. The absolute worst costumer service I have ever received from any business in my life. They incorrectly put my height in as 2 feet tall. When I went back to have this corrected 8 days later (in total, not business days, this included a holiday so they were only actually open 4 days of this) they made me pay again for a new license to have my license fixed for what was entirely their fault. This wouldn't have been a huge deal as mistakes do happen, although I don't think I should've had to pay again, but they were were so incredibly rude about it. They were just egregiously rude. This is simply not how you treat people. read more

Very efficient and customer service is great. They helped me with my expired tag and since moving up here from my parents house they changed my address for me so reminders get sent to my new place. I also redid my license here and again very efficient. They don't waste your time at all. Small space for waiting room area. read more

I have lived in Edmond for 30+ years and have always used Edmond Tag Agency. I went in to get the title and 3 year tag for a new boat we purchased. I had the necessary paperwork from the dealer. The clerk asked for a bill of sale. They said I could have one faxed over from the dealership. Which I did, but then they wanted the breakout between the cost of motor/boat (which I have learned is NOT an OK requirement. So I called dealer up on the phone and he said breakout was not required that once info is put in computer OTC will separate. Boat rep asked me a question to which I answered him, 'They can't handle that' So Brandan, son of owner, kicked me out of the tag agency for being rude and refusing service to me, because of an answer to a private conversation with dealer, to which he did not hear the question. This dealer works with Grand Lake Tag agency, so he knows what is required. I left, went to Santa Fe tag agency, to which she confirmed that I had necessary paperwork and could get my boat tags. 1 star is giving them a break. This place sucks. You wait in one long line of people there for all different things. I was there for a my first renewal of my drivers license and did plenty of research to know what all I needed. I get there. Wait in the stupidly long line for forever just to get up to the lady who says "oh we don't take cards for DLs. It's state policy." Oh that would have been effing wonderful to know before I came in!!! They didn't have it posted anywhere and if they did, it was on the smallest piece of paper and hidden in a cabinet somewhere closed off from the whole world. I get the whole state thing, but at least put a giant sign up!! Or even just a average sized sign and then don't be a b**** when I don't know information that is your responsibility. read more
