While others get you in and out in a few minutes Ken's mechanics inspect the undercarriage for wear and tear. My family has been going to these guys for years. They are reliable and fast. With good prices. They are very transparent on pricing and let you know exactly what work they are doing. They always answer any questions I have, and I have never felt duped by any mechanic jargon or like unnecessary repairs are being added on. The only downside to this place is their hours. if you don't know much about cars and aren't looking to pay an outrageous amount, please don't go here. you will get scammed. this was my very first car I started learning about. This update im making is about a year later and i've now made myself a career in mechanics because of how upset it made me that they blatantly scammed me. they charged me $322 for a checking the engine light, balancing my tires, and changing my thermostat. which I know now is maybe an hour worth of repairs and $20 worth of parts. not to mention the owner was so rude and didn't explain anything to me. he basically told me it was my problem. they never told me about any of the leaks i had on the car either. he also quoted me about $800 to fix my window which ended up not even being broken. just a guide in there was stuck, had to zip tie it. please do not ever step foot in here. if you need a good shop pull up to a valvoline and they'll take care of you. read more

[They did good replace the rear brake and shoes that stop making noise since two weeks.] This morning, I had check engine light on this morning. I went to Ken's Auto shop. They checked with the computer diagnostic (cost $99.95). The mechanic guy told me need to replace the catalytic converter and throttle cleaning that would cost me over $1400. Whoa! That went too far and overprice. I turned down and took my car away. I would not go back there again. I would go find other muffler shop. read more

Great place. AAA towed me to Kens late at night and I put my keys in the overnight dropbox and headed to a hotel. I got a call from them at 7:30 the next morning letting me know what they found wrong. I gave them OK and they had me back in the road by 9:30. Had to get a tire before work and this was the only place open that early. I got here right at 7 and there was only 1 person in front of me. It took about 30 minutes to change my tire and of course the only tire they have in stock was 147 dollars. That's my only complaint is the price of the tire. Took my car in to have the serpentine belt changed. After diagnostics Eric called me and said the bracket on the air compressor had broken and two bolts were broken as well. These bolts would need to be drilled out and tapped in order to replace them. He said that it would take a few hours to do this job and quoted me 3.5 hours work in total. But, he said, that I would get a 10% discount since I was a veteran! After the work was completed I wanted to see the bracket and it was then they told me that there were no bolts that had to be drilled. The 7 bolts and the bracket was replaced then the belt was replaced at a cost of 470.00! No drilling, no tapping, no other work! Then I was told that the discount was for parts only and Eric himself told me that he said that before. A lie. When they were explaining to me how they charged me 47.42 per bolt to replace it a young man stood close looking down at me in an obvious attempt of imtimidation. I know there are honest mechanics out there but, they don't work here! read more
