This is the one festival that I never miss. Year after year we head there and we are never disappointed. The staff and volunteers are phenomenal. The venue is great - not as big as some others, which is nice because the focus is really on the music. There's a few food trucks on site to keep you fed and a beer tent. the beer tent is the only reason that it's not 5 stars. I hate their limited selection. You can choose from a couple of beers, wine, or SUPER sugary coolers. They attract some fantastic talent, which makes this festival a really great time.

It was awful, the word festival doesn't apply. Watched through baseball nets, no festival feeling at all.

My boyfriend took me here as an anniversary present and I loved every moment of it. The place is pretty high end, and it is expected that you do not talk while people are performing. It is VERY frowned upon to do so actually. It has a bar where you can grab drinks, but there is no table service. Popcorn and nuts were also available for a small charge. What makes this venue unique is the quality of musicians that pass through their doors. We went and listened to a Grammy winner and she was fabulous! There is a ticket price per show. There is also a membership price. The membership price varies from $25 to $450 depending on how much you want to save. I would recommend anyone go here at least once for the experience. Just remember: NO TALKING WHILE THE ARTISTS ARE ON STAGE!

You must come at least 30 minutes before the performance. We barely got a place to sit. We shared a guy's table after his 2 companions could not buy tickets at the box office because it was a sold out show. It seems they got the sound system fixed since my last visit. Last night was spectacular. Al Muirhead, Tommy Banks and P.J.Perry. Watch the masters go at it for a couple hours and you will be in awe. The volunteer staff does the best they can, but I feel like they are judging you. Deciding if you are worthy of attending their concert. They are a very dedicated bunch. It's been operating like this since 1957 when it used to be on Whyte Ave. . (Since 1984 in this current location). I used to have a membership, but the flyers for the concerts would always arrive by snail mail way too late and I'd always miss a show. The small savings that membership offers is not really worth it to me. Just check online when you are in the mood, and you'll find something great to see.

Everything is amazing. Just as a heads up, though - be prepared to pay for this excellent food. Between my friend and I the bill for the both of us was $148 plus tip. It's not cheap but if you're prepared to pay It's totally worth it.

Came here for Classical Guitar night. No admission fee so it was a "tip-at-the-end-of-your-meal" in an envelope. So bring cash! Or the waitress can charge your credit card but she will ask you to tell her the extract amount you wish to tip which makes me uncomfortable. I got the Veggie Burger $21.95 with side of bean and corn soup (their main soup). Soup was better than expected if you like beans. Tastes as you would expect. Burger - bottom bun was quite soggy, slaw was very nice. Patty was more mush and just squishes out of the bun. Decent flavor but would have liked it crisper and more solid. They provide Mango Habanero hot sauce which is really cool. Friend got the Bison Burger on Gluten-free bread. She was happy with her burger. I thought it looked funny on a slice of bread instead of a bun. She loved the salad too. My friend tried the grapefruit gelato and said it was fine. I got the Peach Bourbon pie advertised on the "today special" board. Good pie. Good solid crust, peaches inside were tasty, weird jelly filling but wasn't so bad. Not too sweet. Nice ice cream but very small portion. Kicker was the price. $14.50!!! To me that is ridiculous as I can but a WHOLE homemade pie from the farmers market for $25 and this was At Most a quarter of a pie. DISAPPOINTED. Overall Lovely spot to watch a live show, decent food if not overpriced.

I'm happy that security screening is there for our protection. Coat check available. There are 4 different bars inside the hall. All were staffed with nice workers who took time to chat with us. We were happy to see the ice being handled hygienically. There is a separate seating area for bottle service if you are a high roller. There are a few booths in the back if you really need to sit down. The ladies room was clean and stocked. It looked new. The stage is visible from everywhere. You can also go upstairs and look down upon the stage if you don't want to get trampled in the mosh pit. I the bars only take cash. There's an ATM machine at the back. The lot fills up fast, so I parked in the front of the hotel where there was lots of spots available.
