Absolutely the best waxing experience I've ever had. Edna is professional, meticulous, easy to schedule with, and an expert in waxing. She accepts cash, Venmo, and card. I had a Brazilian and full leg wax, and there wasn't a single hair to be found. She spent the time it takes to perform the service right the first time. If I could give my experience a 10/10 I would in a heartbeat! I found Edna just last week as I'm headed on trip and needed a Brazilian after years of not doing a thing down there! Setting up an appointment was easy and done through text. Loved that she replied promptly and was able to schedule me into her calendar. Appointment from the geico was great, I had my three year old with me, which I was a little nervous about because I wasn't sure how Edna would feel about it but she was SO sweet, welcomed my girl. Edna's Wax Bar is most deserving of a detailed Yelp review to bring attention to the first-class service that she provides to her clientele. I was a Massage Envy member for many years. Next to almost every Massage Envy is a European Wax Center, so I decided to check it out. My first waxing experience with them was a walk-in. It was painful, rushed, and impersonal. I wasn't provided with any instructions on how to care for the waxed areas or how to prepare for the next session. After this disappointing experience, I looked to Yelp for a specific recommendation on a waxing technician at the same location. I found raving reviews for Edna, and when I finally met her for the first time, it was love at first sight. From the start, she fulfilled all of the qualities that I look for in a waxer: -hygienic: work areas are clean, no stray hairs on the floor, no double-dipping -experienced: she has waxed all types of hair textures and growth patterns -sensitive: she places pressure over the area after pulling the wax strip -meticulous: she uses a magnifying glass to tweeze any strays that waxing leaves behind -informative: she advises me how to care for the area post waxing and how to prep for the next session -personable: she takes the edge off of waxing. If you're at all unsure about trusting a waxer, rest assured that Edna has years of experience on her resume. After meeting Edna, I can't think of going to anyone else for a wax. When I first met her, I worked on the Peninsula. Despite leaving the area for 2 years, I travelled 45 miles religiously to see her every 6-8weeks. After reading all the 5-star reviews, I was somewhat disappointed with the eyebrow wax I got. My brows are thick on the inside half and pencil thin on the outside half and I was hoping she would even them out. But she just cleaned it up a bit and they were still uneven thickness. Unlike other reviews here, she did not talk at all, which is fine. The picture above on this site says eyebrow wax cost $20 so that's what I was expecting to pay.
