Writing this review on behalf of my wife as she doesn't have an account on Yelp. It's very rare that she wants to leave a review for someone but I guess this place has to be special for her to be doing this. In her words - Ruchi is a phenomenal person who excels at what she does. I have been going to Ruchi for years when she used to run couple of locations in Burlingame and Belmont but was disappointed when she took a break for couple of years. I was so happy when I heard that she is back in business and has a new place in San Mateo. She is so good at her craft and a wonderful person. Never disappointed with any service that I got done from her and I always come out feeling good and looking great every time I visit her. She has added additional services like Microblading, Lamination, Lip Filler, Eyebrow and Eyelash Tint in addition to her other services. I can't recommend her enough. read more

My friend recommended me too Ruchi. I was hesitant to go because threading hurts me a lot. But Ruchi's hands are gentle and it did not hurt me so much. I really liked the way she did it. She kept the fullness and it was very clean and shaped well. Her place is also very clean and well kept. Parking was very easy and her place was easy to find. She is in the back of the ilash studio. I love Ruchi. She is so kind and easy to speak with. She does great eyebrows and her facials are amazing. My skin always glows after. I had derma- planing and a facial with eyebrows and felt the quality of her work at par with any salon where you would pay 400 for the same services. Highly recommend her for a monthly facial.
