I usually eat at this place and this particular day, I called in an order at 5:30 and the lady said 10-15 mins. I got there at 5:47 and the lady told me 10 mins, I thought that was weird when it should've been at most 5. Anyway I sit down and it's people ordering ahead of me, they got their food and left, people walking in/out with doordash and call in orders. It's about 5:55 and I get back up and ask how much longer. The lady proceeds to say "oh the lady (that's right beside her btw) forgot to put my order in, EVEN AFTER I CALLED IN ANDDD PAID. Anyways, she say 3 mins which I knew what was a lie but finally at 6:06, I get my food and it was one order of Godzilla sushi roll. ‍‍ I'm not saying don't eat here but make sure your order is being put in and say something if you know you shouldn't be waiting that long. 30+ mins for a ROLLLL?! Decent food in a mega quantity. I ordered the Chicken, Shrimp and Steak Hibachi without rice and could not finish it all. The flavor was decent and the amount was way more than enough for two people. The guy at the counter took my order with no problem and brought the food to the table when it was ready. The overall vibe of the place is definitely take out but accommodates a few dine in customers with three tables. Overall, if I was back in the area and wanting hibachi I'd definitely give it another try. I would try to order a half order so I don't waste so much though. read more

For a fast food, to go place it was actually very good. There is lots of food in yourorder. Approximately three tables in the restaurant, no reservations needed, because it's not that type of place. Food seems fresh and hot and tasted very good. This really is a to go type of place. read more

Edo has been a great place ever since we started going here 4 years ago. We mainly take out about once every few of months with no issues. The food is always hot and delicious. Hibachi Stake and Shrimp is delicious. Hibachi Chicken and Vegetables is good. Godzilla Roll is Delicious. Wings and Fried Rice is okay- pretty basic. Overall, it tastes like a take out hibachi restaurant vs a dine in hibachi restaurant. When ordering over the phone its sometimes hard to understand if they got the order right, but it has always been right for me at least. Wait time is usually 10-15 minutes. read more

Stop by Edo Habachi after dropping off some packages at the local ups store located rigjht next door the smell caught my attention.Food was done pretty quick I did the chicken and shrimp habachi combo.If you are not that hungry you can share this plate it is enough for 2 people.The food was ok the chicken was gummy and the shrimp was rubbery.The vegetables were good.Customer service was ok the gentleman who took my order didn't speak English but he was polite and from what I could see the restaurant was clean. read more

They lost a customer today. I never threw up like this before. Found three pieces of a roach in my usual order, chicken & steak no zucchini with extra sauces. No telling if I ate any of it but it looks like it was mixed in with the chicken so the rest it probably in other customer's orders. The was good until I found the first piece, but I'm done because I never had this happened to me. I'm so disappointed because this was the only Japanese spot I went to in Columbia. read more

Good and Healthy Enjoyed and love white sauce. They don't communicate well though they try.

Inexpensive lunch and portions are generous. The spring rolls are not good at all. My kids liked their hibachi chicken. My Godzilla sushi was ok. Husband enjoyed the steak. It's a quick in and out place. The cashier is very nice and the place is clean. read more

This place is like a hidden gem. I love this place! The food is so good and so filling. Do yourself a favor and get the Crab Rangoon appetizer. It's some of the best I've ever tasted. It's a must for us. I usually either get the chicken bowl or the Teriyaki Chicken entree. You really can't go wrong. This is close to my job and I love coming here for the shrimp hibachi! Their rice is always perfect, the color and the consistency is to my liking. I also enjoy the sweet carrot they have with their vegetables. I wish the broccoli was cut so that there wasn't as much stalk though. Customer service is always wonderful as well. This was the worst hibachi I've ever had in my life. No exaggeration. As someone who eats hibachi pretty regularly, I was disgusted at the first bite. I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp. As soon as I opened the box, I thought, "this does not look good". And when I tasted it, it was even worse than it looked. I literally gagged and spit it out. It was so bad. I'm seriously dumbfounded at how bad this hibachi was. I just dumped the entire thing in the trash. And, to add insult to injury, the place looked very dingy and not well kept. I should have known walking in that it was going to be bad. I went against my initial impression because it had 4 stars on yelp, but this was awful. I don't know how people eat here regularly. This is the first place I tried arriving into the city. I googled places to eat at in my area and this one showed up. Two years later, they still have not disappointed. I'm not one to try a place once and then bash them online. I go a few times so I can give a great or bad review based upon my experience. The food is always delicious and the workers are nice. I've eaten in the restaurant but mostly do takeout. Never have I had a problem and I am thankful for that. I plan to continue patronizing this establishment. I was hesitant about this spot, but was hungry and wanting. As a constant visitor to Columbia for the in-laws, its often hard to gauge the gems from the losers, but Edo Habachi is definitely a winner! The grilled meats and veggies combine with the grill-fried rice (you can watch them make it!!!) to form a tasty combo of goodness. Its great in its simplicity. The prices are good too, and you get a lot of food for what you shell out. I will return! read more

If you like a deep fried Godzilla Roll filled with avocado and crab, covered in eel sauce and spicy mayo with ginger and wasabi on the side then you get more than your 7 dollars worth. I've never had a bad meal from here, but there is tastier Hibachi available around if you decide to reach deeper in your pocket. Awful food. We ordered take out steak and shrimp & chicken and shrimp. It only took 5 minutes to get home but the food was not hot. Thankfully wasn't cold but in between warm and cold. The fries rice smelled that I spit out my first bite and never touched it after. It was about 2:30pm so maybe they gave us the fried rice they prepared earlier. But it was very dry and smelly that I could not stop thinking it could be days old. It was worse than the ones from buffet. The steak was way overcooked, I could not swallow. It was tasteless. It needed more sauce. Shrimp. I didn't know they had two options for shrimp. Regular and jumbo. The jumbo shrimp is more expensive but after trying regular shrimp, I would rather pay more for jumbo. Chicken. I was happy when I tried chicken after steak and shrimp because I finally found something I could eat. The chicken was good, not extraordinary but good. It's right next to Spring Valley high school so I might try them again after the school starts. So hopefully I won't get the old smelly dry fried rice. read more

This is probably one of my favorite quick hibachi restaurants on this side of town! The shrimp is always seasoned and cooked to perfection! My favorite combo is the shrimp hibachi... if I could change anything about the plate it would definitely be the huge chopped carrots! I definitely prefer them to be smaller but it's not a deal breaker. Overall great place and great value! I will definitely continue to be a regular! :-) read more
