When I was finally disgusted with feeling sick all of the time after getting prescription after prescription for nose spray, I decided to see another doctor. My blood work showed that I had severe Vitamin D and Iron deficiencies that caused me to feel so ill. I got on prescription Vitamin D and Iron and feel 100% better. My mother also had to seek a second opinion after Dr. Rubenstein told her that her chest pain was "in her head". What doctor in his right mind says that to a woman in her fifties with a family history of heart disease? She saw a new doctor who ordered a stress test that showed her corroded artery was completely blocked which explains the chest pain. She's lucky to be alive. Her current doctor has no idea how she is still alive after that. I would advise getting a 2nd opinion.

Dr. Warren Kaplan and his son Dr. Adam Kaplan are amazing. Dr. Adam Kaplan saw me during my first visit and quickly diagnosed the problem. He started me on a course to correct the problem. Today I went back for a second visit whereby Dr. Warren Kaplan made a mold of my foot (needed for the next phase of corrective action). These doctors know their stuff! They are true experts in their field and so friendly. Love these guys! He also is not part of any of the large medical groups in the area (Westfield Family Practice, Summit Medical Group, etc.), which I can only describe as purely money-making organizations. I also liked the idea of visiting a Doctor of Osteopathy instead of an MD, thinking that he might recommend dietary/lifestyle changes in addition to pharmaceuticals. Instead, I had the pleasure of meeting a doctor who laughed at my request for a full blood test as part of a physical, telling me that I was young and skinny, and therefore must be healthy, and don't need to see him. Finally, I just found out that my lovely doctor, or his staff, seems to have lost my medical/prescription records. Despite being a young and healthy adult who doesn't visit the doctor other than for annual check ups (luckily), this is the last straw. Guess I have to look for a new doctor.
