Called to see if there was a product in stock and they said yes. Drove 23 minutes there to go buy it. I then walked in and asked the ladies at the front desk to see where it's located and they sent me to the front which where not there. Then I got sent to the back of the store to my behold they were not located either just to get sent to the front again to have 2 people do the very minimum to locate 3 google hubs which were "in stock" just for them to assume someone stole them :/ actually very lazy. read more

This store had amazingly terrible attitudes and lack of helpfulness and lazy employees not doing anything else who won't help. A phrase like "dung heads" (replace the dung with s dash dash dash) applies. The store was NOT busy. We went to pick up a sink and base... we found the item (70 lbs) on a shelf about 4 feet up. I didn't see store employees anywhere around us so I walked across the store all the way to the customer service counter near the entrance. I told the woman who was at the register that we needed assistance getting a heavy item off the shelf. Rather than call someone she told me to go back to the department and find the employee who was in the plumbing department. (This is dung head who doesn't give a crap #1.) A young kid employee walking by says to her "I got this." We walk back to the shelf and he is about to pull the item off the shelf. I say "you doing that by yourself?" and he replies "I thought you were going to help me." Probably in the process breaking about 20 internal rules about customer safety. I refused - I didn't want to fumble it or drop it. He got an older employee who came by and worked with him to lower the sink in the cart. I then told my wife "I need to get drain parts" (P trap, etc). He (dung head who doesn't give a crap #2) gestures down another aisle with the parts and doesn't offer in any way to help select what was needed. Scuh-rew this store. The younger employee tried to help but clearly didn't consider that you don't have customers do half the work. The employees here clearly don't give one you-know-what. read more

Terrible customer experience that cost Home Depot $100K plus in revenue! I stopped by this store in Mason to inquire about flooring installation. i askes the person in self checkout where i can inquite about floor installation or the Pros service. She pointed me to customer service. I walked to customer service and they pointed me to flooring. I walked to flooring and after waiting for a few minutes to get off the phone, WARREN, the associate on duty in the flooring section immediately got up, asked me to sit down and wait for him. He walked over to next row and started talking to other customers. After 4 to 5 minutes and his conversation with other customers and co -worker, he looked at me and said: "I'll be back after I go to the restroom " and walked away. I don't know if he ignored me and helped other customers because they were white or it was just a coincidence. But it was clear that he had time for them, and not me despite me being first in queue. Anyway, i walked out, went to Lowes where they helped me right away, scheduled to come out and to estimate the costs to install tiles in my 57,800 Square feet office! Go to Lowes. They are more professionals and truly understand how to deliver Exfellent Customer Experience! They are well trained as well. Home depot may have more tenured people that just do not care anymore, or they were not trained well or they simply do not care. read more

Technically, I've always been a Lowe's gal. I'm not even really sure why, but when I was remodeling my house, Lowes was a bit closer and took much of my business. This Home Depot is tucked right off the expressway off 71 in fields Ertl. It's not difficult to get to, but if you are not headed that way, I can see where some might choose a different store for their home repair needs based on location. My garage door broke, so I went to both stores this time, Lowe's and Home Depot, to check to see which had a better deal. Home Depot beat Lowe's, hands down. I need to remember to always check the prices between those two stores instead of just thinking about convenience and location to my house. They really are not that far apart. I also love that Home Depot gives employees with special needs a chance. I was greeted and helped so very much by a young man with autism. He was so smart, and after I thanked him and told him how smart he was, his smile was so big! It made the entire trip worth it. Sometimes I don't think stores give everyone a chance, so I'm so thankful that there is a place for all people. It really touched my heart, and I'm so glad I went! Typical large hardware store. Look for the orange apron helper. I like the garden center. Vegetables and flowers are hit and miss for quality. Have used them for cabinets and carpet. They have designers to help with kitchens. Cheap rocks and soil and mulch. read more

HORRIBLE ! What a joke ! Went to buy Christmas lights, 300 LED, $15.88. Internet said store had 17 in stock. Even with assistance, no one could FIND these lights. (Please forgive the way this was written. I was pretty mad and spelling/grammatical errors will most likely be present) Story as goes: Went in today to buy a M18 FUEL 16" Chainsaw Kit by Milwaukee. H-D website said they had two in stock to I went over around 3:45est 10/02/2020 before I went home after work and got the last one off the shelf. I should mention the box was completely sealed and wrapped in plastic. I get home and immediately took the box out of the work truck and opened it up to find a Corded Craftsmen 10" chainsaw in the box.. I stood there dumbfounded to what was happening and quickly realized what had occurred. Someone pulled a return scam and H-D return QC team failed to realize the issue and put it back into circulation. So now at this point anyone would of been screwed because what proof would you have that I am telling the truth in this situation?.. Well Luckily in my excitement of playing with a pretty new tool, once getting home I did the unboxing in my driveway which happens to be under WYZE camera surveillance. I got the whole thing recorded.... :) I then proceeded to call the store and explain the situation to the Assistant MGR and at first he was very apologetic and said he'd call me back. 22 mins later I get a call back from said MGR who's tone had completely changed, it had turned into a accusatory and an extremely rude attitude. He refused the return and told me to call the 1-800 number and also refused to provide me with regional Supervisors or MGT contact information or to at least watch the video proving my claim. I then called the 1800 number and they basically stated that there's nothing they could do to reverse the store MGRs decision and was sent on my way with a pat on the head. Continuing on I reached out to Milwaukee direct to confirm with them that Craftsmen products are not manufactured in the same place. They confirmed that isn't the case. Milwaukee recommended I attempt to go back to the store and attempt to return the item at this point. And so I started my trek back to the Mason Ohio store and on the way contacted the local sheriff to request a deputy be present when I walked into the store to cover my butt in case of any kind of altercation, because at that point its their word against mine and to file a fraud case. Met the Deputy in the parking lot and he and I walked in the store. I requested to speak to the MGR and he showed up after 15 mins. Repeated the same thing he told me on the phone and refused to watch the unboxing video which clearly shows plain as day that I was scammed. I then left empty handed and furious. Once I got home I contacted My CC company and have filed a Charge Dispute with them and plan on making a consumers complaint through the BBB. So let this be a lesson to everyone shopping at H-D, when buying any high dollar boxed item. Open it up to confirm you are actually getting what you are paying for. Be very wary of Home Depot appliance delivery. They use J.B. Hunt for deliveries and it was such a horrible experience. Our delivery occurred yesterday, 11/15/2019. First, they showed up 1.5 hours before our delivery window for our new washer/dryer. Of course, I was still at work since our delivery window was from 2:30pm-6:30pm. Second, once they brought in the washer/dryer, they were scratched. When I asked what happened, the delivery person said that it was scratched when coming in through our doorways and there was nothing they could do about it. Then, the washer started leaking when they were testing the washer. Of course, I refused to accept the washer and they prepared to take it back to the truck. What happened next was unbelievable and shocking. As the crew was taking the new washer away from our basement, they did not drain the washer properly and they spilled the entire water supply in the washer down our carpeted basement stairs and onto our carpeted basement floor, belongings, and electrical outlets on the wall. The carpet is ruined as gallons of water spilled. The delivery crew didn't even offer to clean up or apologize for the mess. There was a severe lack of professionalism. As a final blow, they told us that they could not give us our old washer back because it was now Home Depot property. What I think actually happened is that our old washer was too damaged because they just threw it in back of the truck like it was trash and they didn't want to admit it (I overheard the driver explain this to his dispatch person). We are currently working with Home Depot to get our replacement delivered, but it will be at least a week before our replacement arrives. Until then, we can't do laundry at home - a terrible inconvenience especially since we have a baby at home and do laundry almost daily. I am really not looking forward to having the same delivery company deliver our new appliance, but we have no choice at this point. I really hope Home Depot decides to contract deliveries with someone else more reliable and professional. We usually prefer to shop at Home Depot and spend a lot there every year. When we think home/landscape needs, we always go to Home Depot first. Every major home and maintenance purchase has been at Home Depot. After this awful experience, we will now have to consider Lowe's and Menards. As a veteran, I truly appreciate the support Home Depot provides to veterans, but am disappointed with their appliance delivery service. read more

This location carries what you'd expect from a Home Depot , with all sorts of tools and supplies you need for your home improvement projects, plus seasonal decorations and lighting leading up to those times of the year. There's plenty of parking available too. But the big draw of this location is the friendly service. The staff is so nice and helpful; the service really makes this a pleasant place to shop. I've always been greeted with a smile and an offer to help, and when accepted, they are on the ball about showing me my options. It's much appreciated. read more

I had a 5 star experience at Home Depot & I think I need to let y'all know! I woke up on Sunday morning to a very strange sound coming from my basement (never a good scenario). I opened the door & looked down the dark stairway to see water spraying through the air! Yikes...I was afraid of what I would find. It was the expansion tank on my hot water heater. It's old & it had sprung a leak. So, what's a single-lady homeowner to do in such a situation? Watch a YouTube video on how to replace it, of course! I head into Home Depot where I immediately find an employee working the plumbing aisles. I said "excuse me, if you're not too busy..." He said, "Of course, that's what I'm here for!" His name was Jerry & he walked around with me & helped me find the tank & all the other stuff I would need. He also answered my questions on how to pressurize the tank & such. He was super-helpful & gave me the little boost of confidence I needed to go home & not call a plumber :) As I was heading off to the registers, Jerry said "Good luck! I want a full report tomorrow!" So, if you see Jerry, tell him my repair was a great success & that he's pretty awesome Home Depot saved the day! read more

Needed a washer thing for a Mansfield 160 toilet valve. Went to the Home Depot, was pointed to where the toilet guts stuff was and found the part I needed in short order. It was reasonable, costing under two dollars. I ran right home and fixed that toilet and now it works. AND as a bonus I get to be a hero to my family! read more

If I could give a minus star review, it would be minus 10. Got a dishwasher & included installation. Well I had no idea, the problems this would cause. First attempt they said they could not go under my cabinet where my current hook up is, that I had to get holes drilled in my cabinet, which they will not do. How was I supposed to know that, no one told me such. If you have an existing dishwasher, shouldn't it be an easy remove/install! 2nd attempt, they said there was no shut off value & would not deal with water being in the line. Well I DO have a shut off value at my dishwasher, also there will be water in the line, that is normal. Said they would not do the install & headed out the door. I had to chase after them as they were loading my new dishwasher back on the truck. I told them to bring the new dishwasher in my house, as I was not going to deal with them again. I will get my own installation.When I went to the store to handle getting a refund for my installation, they told me this is an on going issue & they just handled 4 people before me for the same thing. DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT FOR DISHWASHER INSTALLATION. THE INSTALLERS ARE SO LIMITED IN WHAT THEY CAN DO. THEY ARE USELESS. TOO MUCH OF A HEADACHE. read more

Horrible customer service! Needed to rent a van for a few hours; was told they don't take reservations but show up at opening and should not be an issue. When we arrived at opening, we were told the store manager has the van reserved for the whole day so it is not available. Contacted customer care through chat and they don't take complaints through chat. They suggested I call Customer Care, which isn't open today (Sunday). Sent feedback through the Home Depot website, but any submissions are reviewed by Home Depot before being posted. Terrible customer service and follow-up. Don't ever order a product from this location that you want installed. I ordered a screen door and it took multiple calls for someone at this location to respond. The installer was great but he told me the sweep on the bottom was damaged and he would let the store know so they could order another. The store called me asking me to call the manufacturer to order the replacement part. I was driving when Home Depot called and asked them to email the info which they never did. Home Depot installs a defective product and I have to follow up with the manufacturer to have them send me the replacement part???? Terrible experience at this location!!! read more

Shame on me for stopping fo lunch. I made a reservation with my name and my phone number, it would've been very easy to call me to see me to see if I had changed plans. Don't waste your time. I paid for an installation of a front door almost 6 months ago. The custom ordered door was delivered to them in about 4 weeks. The original install date was delayed by almost two months due to issues on the installers end. I called and spoke with a Manager, asked about the nearly 8 week delay, and was simply told "that's the way it is." I asked for a guarantee that the latest date would hold at the absolute least, if no earlier date was available, with a promise to be called back. I never got that call. The door was finally installed, but there were issues with the trim sent by the manufacturer. Why not check this during the two months between taking delivery and installation? Replacement trim had to be ordered, and was delivered after a couple weeks. Install date was set for about 2 weeks from delivery. Installer was a no show on install date. Turns out the second set of trim sent wasn't painted the shade originally ordered. I had to call them to figure this out. Again, why not check in the weeks between delivery and installation? Here I am again, waiting for the installation to be completed. It's been 3 weeks since my last contact with them, and I'm sure I'll be waiting to hear from them again, and then waiting for the installer again. Who knows? Not Home Depot. read more

I am not making this story up. I went into the store to purchase a microwave. I was unable to find the microwave in the store. The employee (man) told me he could order it online from his desk. I was informed that he can't order appliances to the store. He then ordered the microwave anyway and told me he made some "special arrangements" to have it delivered to the store. He gave me his business card with his apron number. When I came to the store to pick it up it wasn't there. When they tried to look up the order number from the print out I was given when I ordered it they couldn't find it. I found out that the online Home Depot is different from the physical store. They finally found the order with a different order number online. I was again told that it can't be sent to the store. The delivery company was called and they told me it was UPS. I talked to them myself and they said that they don't use tracking numbers for appliances (Weird, because I get a tracking number when I ordered a stuffed animal a week before). I then realized that the address they sent it to was down the street. I then drove to the location. The address was an empty parking lot between a shell station and Skyline Chilly. I then found the business card of the employee who ordered the microwave. When I called them back with the name of the employee I realized it was a female and I gave them the apron number. I was told that apron number doesn't exist. They told me they could not refund my money. At this point, I still do not have a microwave that I paid for. When I called visa and reported this transaction as fraud they returned the money to me. I then called the online store and again I was told they would not refund my money. At this time, I told her that I reported this visa as fraud and immediately they returned my money. Unbelievable! read more

Awful experience trying to order carpet and tile! I dealt with a man named frank who completely screwed the order up. The 'Department Manager' Ronice was even worse. She told me since I 'signed' their little measure and contract it was my fault, even though FRANK entered the wrong stock into the order! To make matters worse, I was told by a hardware worker that the Store Manager, Leslie Rowe, was dating Ronice's brother so there would be no action taken and my problem would not be resolved. read more

Love this place! I have spent thousands here since we bought our house 2 years ago. Not just because they're a mile from my house (Lowe's is equally as close and I never go there) but they also have impeccable customer service. The people working there know everything there is to know. I've never walked up to someone and asked where something was without them either knowing or calling the best person to assist me. They also accept everything I return, with or without receipt. Being able to swipe a credit card to see if you've bought an item there or not without needing a receipt adds value to the store. It's so easy to walk in there and return something without all the rigmarole other stores bring to the words "customer service desk". They have the best prices and selection and best of all, they allow my dogs into the store with me; they are animal lovers and they deserve my business. read more
