This is my new go-to spot for Mexican food, the staff is friendly, and the food is always fresh and tasty :) I've lived here for a year and a half now, and there are decent spots around town, but this is hands down the best place I've tried so far. I've had their Carnitas (deep fried pork) plate, Horchata, their taco sauces, and most recently I had two Shredded Beef Tacos with a side of rice and beans. My favorite off of that list is the shredded beef tacos, they were literally the best I've ever had, and I've been all over the states from the east coast to the west coast! And their Habanero taco sauce (it's the orange-ish colored one) is outstanding. The avocado sauce is also amazing. Their rice is top notch, too! I'll try to remember to take pictures next time I go. This is the best Mexican food in Coos Bay/North Bend, at least from what I've had so far. read more

I've had this place a few times now and it seems a little worse each time I go, this will be the last time. I ordered a veggie quesadilla, a burrito, and some tacos. While my food cooked, I visited the salsa bar which didn't seem replenished in days. The sauces were almost empty and the whole station could have used a good cleaning. Although I grabbed some sauce to be polite, I didn't have the stomach to use it. The burrito was largely ok - not great. The tacos were dry and bland. Lastly, the quesadilla, turned out to be this giant sloppy monstrosity that tasted spoiled. To top it all off, terrible graphic diarrhea from everyone who ate the food. I've been to this place twice now. The first time I ordered rolled tacos that were crispy but not flavorful or hot. This time I ordered a California burrito and hubbs ordered the chili rellano plate with beans and rice. The chili rellanos were not breaded or cooked soft and were crunchy. My burrito was supposed to have French fries along with carne asada, pico de gallo, guacamole and cheese. The potatoes were not fried and had very little of the aforementioned condiments inside. The entire meal was bland and without spices. The temperature of both meals were lukewarm and served in to go containers even though we indicated that we would be dining in. The cutlery given to eat this meal was a joke it couldn't have cut through velveeta let alone this meal. This place should not even be advertising that they have Mexican food. It is embarrassing and a better meal could be had at Taco Bell down the street for less money. If it was possible to give less than one star I would have done so. read more

My boyfriend and I went to this food establishment together one afternoon, and found it terrible. I ordered online. 2 quesaburria tacos and 5 rolled tacos for 30 dollars. I thought I was ordering 2 orders of the tacos, seeing as it was almost 20 bucks. But it turns out it was just 2 tacos. We tried the food and found it disgusting. We both took 1 bite and immediately threw it away. The rolled tacos tasted like taquitos you buy at the store, and the tacos tasted like gross boiled ham. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't listen to any of the negative reviews. Oregonians don't know what good Mexican food is. I am from San Diego and I grew up on authentic Baja Mexican foods and this is the only place in Oregon I have found that tastes like real Baja Mexican food (cilantro is key). A good ratio of meat to fillers in the burritos also. Most places in Oregon stuff the burritos with fillers like rice and beans and use too little meat in my opinion. Also the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Love this place. Hoping more people will appreciate how great it is. read more

Love this California style taqueria, with nice proximity to the beach. They have complimentary flavorful salsas that pack a punch of flavor. From the serrano avocado salsa to their extra hot and spicy orange habanero salsa. They have excellent refried beans and rice and the best bean and the cheese burritos. The crispy chicken taco was outstanding and the simple cheese quesadillas are huge and delicious. The people running this place are very friendly. Give it a try when heading out to the beaches and state park. read more

I'll start with the place is very dirty counter girl it was not to motivated to clean the place up trash can was overflowing and had no lid. Salsa station was just plan nasty. Then the food well it was barely warm my wife got the carne sada taco plate, and the rice was very dry, and the meat was grey looking like it had been sitting for a while no flavor. I got the chicken plate and well the same, but the chicken was supposed to be shredded but it was very much not, and it was extremely dry I would highly recommend if you wanted good Mexican food go elsewhere for the money it was not worth it 45 bucks down the drain. read more

Food is amazing, service is good as long as you order inside, I've been through the drive through 3 times now every-time you are waiting 15-30 min for someone to help but when you walk in you get helped immediately and it not like they can't see you as they'll make eye contact or say one second but won't every came take your order. Secondly if your order food for your kids, there chicken enchiladas are super spicy and there is nothing posted saying so. So just be cautious of that! read more
