It's in a corner spot next to other food services that it looks deceiving from the outside, but once you step in, it's super cozy and welcoming. Definitely a hidden gem The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and service is quick. They offer all sort of tasty options, which we loved as we travel with elders and kids. Best of all, they were very accommodating with our allergy needs. We'll absolutely be back!

    Camerones Al Diabla

Greeted with a smile and a mi amiga. Had Camarones Al Diabla. Came out fresh and hot. Tasted amazing. Background music was good. Great atmosphere. Not serving alcohol today but we'll go back again for a margarita.

Very quick service and the food was good. It is very hard to find good Mexican food in Oregon when we had lived in Southern California for most of our lives! Many places we have found here are very bland. I had the 3 meat fajitas and my husband had the seafood burrito and a chili relleno along with a shrimp ceviche for an appetizer. All were very flavorful. I'm not a bean and rice fan; my husband said these were just ok. I would definitely return!

Would give 4 and a half if could. Our first night on vacation we actually were gonna eat across the street and saw this place and 4 stars on Yelp so we stopped in. Small place but was busy. Only one server who was very friendly. We order the cheese dip and guacamole which were both very good. The guacamole was definitely fresh and homemade. My enchiladas were amazing I loved the verde. So the missing star would be because my husband said his burrito had wayyy too much rice and not enough carne asada. But we are very satisfied and it was very flavorful and delicious.

All around okay. Nothing to brag about, but one of the best Mexican restaurants around. Best items are flautas and chalupas.

Really Good Tacos! And they even offer Lingua (Cow Tongue) as an option which to me makes them the best!

The tacos are very fresh and juicy filled with meat and cheese and sour cream. One is enough but two or three is fun too.

Ambiance is just a small restaurant, looks old but thats not an issue for me Service was not great, no one checked up on us and we had to get their attention for any needs. Food was dry , I did not enjoy my flautas at all. It said it comes with 6 and they gave me 5 and thought i wouldnt notice? This is where the one star kicks in--- Im not from here and maybe it looks like it. I went up to pay, asked for my plate separate then my friends. I asked for the total he said "14$" i said sounds good, and he proceeds to put in 30.00$ on the card charging machine. I thought maybe he made a mistake and charged for both meals , so i asked again was this just for the flautas? He said yes, has me sign the receipt but puts his hand over dollar amount. Thats when it felt like he was trying to scam me. After i signed, he didnt give me a recipt then i had asked for one and yup 30.00$ and not itemized. I then told him why was i charged 30.00$ and was it actually for just my flautas. Changes the story and said yes its for both when caught. I dont care if your a big corporation or a small buisness, honesty and integrity is everything

He took our drink and food order and off he went. Our food came out quick and hot. My husband and I shared a chicken, steak, shrimp fajita combo with rice & beans. There was a generous amount of sour cream and guacamole. There could have been a little more pico de gallo, but I am sure we could have requested more. My favorite was the chicken. It was moist and flavorful. The shrimp was next. It was well seasoned. A tad over cooked, but still nice. The steak was just okay. The quality of beef didn't seem great or perhaps it was reheated. But I would pass on the beef and shrimp and stick with the chicken. Beans and rice were really good. The cadillac margarita was good, although the plastic mug was hard to drink from because the rim was so thick. The biggest fault of our visit was the sever disappearing after dropping off the food. He never did come back. Not sure if he went on break or what, but we just waited for an unnecessary amount of time until we flagged down a female waitress for the bill and a to go box. There was no good bye or thank you when we left. It's just like our $40 check was not appreciated. This is the 4th Mexican restaurant I've gone to in the area, and it's unfortunate their service lacked, because the food was not bad. We won't likely return unless with other friends who insist on going to this place.

On multiple Sunday evenings, I've arrived more than 30 minutes before the posted closing time, only to find the doors locked and be turned away. If this happened once, I could understand. But it's become a pattern. What makes this especially frustrating is that the restaurant's posted hours are displayed right next to the front door. If the business is going to close early, the posted hours should reflect that. Customers shouldn't drive over expecting the restaurant to be open during its advertised hours only to find it's already closed. I don't know whether this is a management issue or if it's specific to the Sunday evening staff trying to leave early, but either way, it's not acceptable. Consistently closing well before your advertised hours is unfair to customers and makes the business seem unreliable. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I also don't know that I can continue supporting a business that doesn't honor its own posted hours. I hope management addresses this, because I'd much rather update this review after seeing consistent improvement.
